DA - the escape was from one of most secure facilities in NYS, if not in the US

I'm "catching up" so forgive me if this has been posted but do we know if either of these guys had internet access in their "good behavior" wing? If so, is it monitored? I would like to see search history if so as well as the cell phone that was used to call family/friends. Surely LE has thought of that? Sorry if this has been covered.

Mainly marking my spot ... and trying not to let hopes fade that they'll be apprehended soon ! Or at least one of them. These perps make me so nervous ; and I do not want any lives to be lost over this.
Joyce's husband needs to get a restraining order and keep her away from both he and their son ; imo.

Off-topic (sorry) ; but I tried to click on the ad banner right at the bottom of this page with the WS links , and was going to read about the missing girl, Lillian P.Floriano, and when the link is clicked--a page comes up with " You do not have permission to access this page....your account may be awaiting moderation..." ??
Her case was not in the 'missing' or the 'found/located' section, either. Has her case been deleted , for whatever reason ? I was assuming she must be o.k., but usually the case is moved to 'located'.

Just wondering.

It was way over-the-top esp for NY. I can't remember hearing such a daily flood of leaks esp of the salacious variety by unnamed LE sources in recent NY history

Yes, they're investigating all angles. We see a physical search on the news, but they're checking out every detail and aspect of the escapees' lives and activities. During the media conference just now, one of the LE reps ("Major" someone) said he would not comment on locations or details about the scope of their investigation. They're not saying anything about what they're doing because that could help the escapees elude LE. I'm sure they have checked/are checking computers, phone records, etc for many people who may have been involved in this escape.

As curious as I am, I'm glad they're not talking about their investigation. I just assume there is a network, be it large or small, helping Matt and Sweat (together or individually), who are keeping their eyes and ears open for any hint of LE actions. I can't believe no one has screwed up yet. But sooner or later, these guys have to come out and someone will see them and they'll report it. It can't happen soon enough!

I found it interesting that LE is now alerting Border Patrol along the Mexican border. JMO, they should have thought about that at least a week ago. I think Matt & Sweat had friends on the outside who provided them with a car & probably money. Don't know about the other states that border Mexico, but in Texas getting across the border into Mexico would be as easy as taking a stroll through Central Park. The border fence is just a really bad, expensive joke. If they made it to Mexico they can easily enough go on to Central America or South America. I imagine that since Matt spent some time in a Mexican jail he picked up enough Spanish for them to get along just fine.
