Do you have any idea why Eva would have described SL to police as "depressed"? Did she have any kind of medical history that would support that? Or did LE perhaps bait her with that question?

I agree Deerhunter! LE prompted her with that or they speculated as such and put it on PR.

Charles came over to the residents around 5pm to see a movie Sylvia at a cinema about 20 min away. The theater was were Crazy Eddies was off Richmond Ave just south off the Staten Island Mall. Charles returned to the house approx. 10:30 stating that during an argument Sylvia had thrown her glasses against the dash board of the car and ran off. Eva Lwowski called the 122pct and tried to report a missing person but could not because see wasn't missing for 24 hrs. yet. Eva then got in the car and drove around the Staten Island Mall, but didn’t see her. A close family friend had also taken a ride around the Mall to look, but saw nothing. The following day, Eva went to 122 pct to make a formal missing persons report and the police basically said she was over 21 and didn’t really spend to much time or resources in locating her. A week or two later the family hired a privet investigator and am not sure of the outcome of that investigation except a different version of her running off came out. Charles first said that at a stop sign, in the heat of an argument, she fled the car. The P I's version was that during a traffic jam, she then fled the car. The days and weeks following her disappearance, Charles wouldn't answer and more questions concerning Sylvia.

I am gathering he (BF/F Fiance) had no further contact with anyone afterwards? No phone calls? No concern? That would be significant I think.

In speculation - Because, ok, you have a big fight with your fiance and he didn't say they broke it off or anything. Right? I would think he would be very concerned about her well being after he "cooled off". I mean, they were engaged to be married.

The other thought I have on his silence - is he may have gotten legal advice after she disappeared. IMO (in my opinion).

MMQC - IMO It is clear to me you are Sylvia's long standing best girl friend - are you becoming verified? Or, in the process? --Just curious.

Trying to become verified but as yet have not received a return PM to confirm.

Until you become verified, you cannot post insider information. I'm sorry, but you will have to wait to post facts that you cannot link. Today there is no one to do verifications, but tomorrow I will be able to make calls.

Please submit the required information as instructed below:

If you would like to add youself as an expert in a certain field or as an insider to a case, please send an email to [email protected].

If you do not wish to be identified as an expert in a certain area, we ask that you refrain from answering questions that are specifically directed to those that have been verified as specialist in their area and that you do not claim to be a professional in any area.

If a member posts with "expertise" please check to make sure they are on this list. If not, please do not take their post as professional information, but rather just as another opinion; much as you would with any member of the general posting membership.

Locals who are describing the area or are members of the gyms and that sort of thing do not need to be verified.

We only verify people who know the players or have been named in the media, etc. This does not include people who may befriend a player on internet social media and then wish to post about it.

If a member wants to post as a professional (a lawyer, shrink, and so on) or as a local/knows the people involved then they must email us at the following email.

[email protected]

Please include:

The case
Your Websleuths name
Your phone number and a good time to call
Your real name
Location (City and State)
In the subject line please put your user name and which case you are asking to be verified on

All info will be kept strictly confidential.

Thank you!

Ok, so it was not a zippy thing getting off the island at 10pm on a Saturday night, by bus.

I guess I speculate (perhaps wildly), taking everything at face value, could she have called another friend? You mentioned an ice cream place, were there any other late night establishments around? Could she have called someone to pick her up? A male friend? I remember the nights in shining armor of my youth who would try and facilitate a trip to the moon and back for a damsel in distress? She may not have told anyone of this night in shining armor if she were unhappy in her relationship???

Can't say about any Knight in shinin armor.. Not as close to her Wagner friends as I would have liked to have been. City college much different than pvt. college. Most city college students worked as I did.

MMQC -We will wait!!! It has been good to open up the conversation, today.

Websleuths is really great in its structure - It is really what sets it apart as a forum...

Thanks for that, ASWDeerHunter. I think it's the same one we have? Was there something specific you wanted to point out about it? You know, one of the "missing" sites, lists two links to western PA newspapers on Sylvia's page as "sources." Do you have any idea why? I was wondering if maybe the engagement notice was published out that way for the benefit of relatives?

Never thought of that about legal advice after disappearance

I think it says that at the bottom of everyone's thread page. I think it's the specs of the thread? For example, when the thread closes, some of those things would change, like replies being allowed. Not 100% sure though.

It's telling you what you're allowed to do on the forum...

It's useful for determining if you're still logged in, as WS logs you out after you've been inactive for a few minutes.

I am going to hold off on asking any more specific questions until M is verified, but based on the consensus of her we have so far (not believed to be depressed), do you guys think suicide can be eliminated as a reasonable theory?

You can remain logged in (and won't get booted off) even if u are inactive by clicking/checking on the Remember Me? box. It's to the right of the log in info (UN and PW).

This should also prevent the loss of post as one is composing.

How long were they engaged? I remember reading 18-24 months?

What was her engagement ring like?
