"He said 'I bashed his -- -- brains in and he cried like a -- -- and begged for his life,'" Riebenfeld told the jury in Pelosi's trial for the October 2001 murder....

Danny Pelosi admitted he beat a cowering Ted Ammon to death — and asked his girlfriend to cover it up by telling police they were having sex in his Bronco the night of the murder, his tearful ex-lover testified yesterday.

Tracey Riebenfeld, an attractive brunette, told prosecutor Janet Albertson that three days after Ammon's murder inside his East Hampton mansion, Pelosi came to her Center Moriches apartment and "asked me to lie for him."

When she asked Pelosi why he needed an alibi, he said Ammon's estranged wife, "Generosa, was framing him for the murder of Ted Ammon," Riebenfeld said....

A jilted lover of Danny Pelosi delivered a courtroom shocker yesterday, claiming the Long Island murder suspect told her Generosa Ammon was in on her estranged husband's slaying.
Tracey Riebenfeld recalled a heart-to-heart talk with Pelosi three months after the bludgeoned body of Wall Street mogul Ted Ammon was found in his East Hampton mansion.

Riebenfeld testified that Pelosi told her Generosa Ammon, whom he would soon marry, was his lookout the night he beat Ted Ammon to death.

"She had to be there in case someone came in," testified Riebenfeld, a mother of four from East Quogue, L.I....

RIVERHEAD, N.Y., Oct. 26 - One of Daniel Pelosi's ex-girlfriends testified on Tuesday that Mr. Pelosi told her he beat R. Theodore Ammon, a wealthy financier, to death in Mr. Ammon's East Hampton mansion, and that Mr. Ammon's wife had accompanied him there to turn away any visitors.

The witness, Tracey Riebenfeld, offered the most vivid and chilling account yet of Mr. Ammon's October 2001 slaying, for the first time implicating Generosa Ammon in her husband's murder. Ms. Riebenfeld told a rapt courtroom that Mr. Pelosi, charged with Mr. Ammon's murder, sat in her apartment one night in January 2002 and admitted killing Mr. Ammon....

The exgirlfriend is a woman scorned...What about the nephew and the other guy who accompanied DP? Generosa could only be questioned through a seance. This is a wacky case.

Ted Ammon had sex with his mistress and ducked away from a gay beach shortly before he was slain in his Long Island mansion, his ex-lover testified yesterday.
Lori Finkel's account sought to discredit the theory from accused killer Daniel Pelosi's attorney that Ammon was killed by a man the millionaire had picked up on a gay beach.

The stylish blond told a Suffolk County jury that she and Ammon had an afternoon rendezvous on Oct. 20, 2001. That night, at 9:44 p.m., she received a voice mail message from the rich banker. "He was at a beach. He thought it was a gay beach," she said. "There were some guys around. He was scared and he was going home."

Pelosi, 41, is charged with bludgeoning Ammon at the mogul's East Hampton mansion. The Long Island electrician later married Ammon's widow, Generosa. The couple split before Generosa died of cancer last year....

In Daniel Pelosi’s letters to his father, he asks forgiveness and reconciliation, but dad elects to be estranged

Desperate and lonely, Daniel Pelosi wrote a letter to his father from jail begging to stop their feud.

"I am sorry and I love you," he wrote in April 2003 while serving time for drunk driving. "I do not want to carry the cross of pain in never hearing your voice again."

Two months later, in one of his last communications before testifying against his son in Pelosi's trial for the murder of Theodore Ammon, Robert Pelosi penned a one-page response. "I know you have tried to call me on the phone," it began, "however, I cannot find it in myself to talk to you at this time."

The two letters have been presented to a jury in Riverhead. Neither implicates Pelosi. Both, however, illuminate a relationship torn by Daniel Pelosi's arrests, the strain of his brother James' death in 2002, and his marriage to Ammon's widow, Generosa, three months after the murder....

Long Island murder suspect Danny Pelosi told a lawyer he was inside Ted Ammon's East Hampton mansion the day the Wall Street mogul was slain there, bombshell court records filed yesterday reveal.
If true, the information blows a gaping hole in Pelosi's claim he was nowhere near Ammon's home when the millionaire was bludgeoned.

In a private chat with lawyer Michael Dowd, Pelosi allegedly said he went to the mansion Oct. 21, 2001, to remove the surveillance system's hard drive, according to papers filed in Suffolk County Surrogate Court.

Pelosi allegedly said he took the hard drive because it contained digital recordings of Ammon's estranged wife, Generosa, talking to some men about whacking her husband.

"I want you to know that there was a time that [Generosa Ammon] had some guys in the house, at the beach house, that she was talking to about killing Ted," Pelosi allegedly told Dowd, who recalled the conversation in a sworn Oct. 4 deposition.

"I went into the beach house the weekend Ted was murdered and took the hard drive of the surveillance unit," Dowd, who was Generosa Ammon's divorce attorney, said Pelosi told him.

The new evidence surfaced as Dowd was being questioned by an attorney representing Pelosi in a civil case in which he is challenging Generosa Ammon's will....

Witness Says Pelosi Admitted Taking Security Hard Drive

fter the police found the Manhattan multimillionaire R. Theodore Ammon beaten to death in his East Hampton home three years ago, they made another discovery: A concealed computer hard drive that controlled the home's video security system was missing.

But in court papers filed yesterday, Daniel Pelosi, the man charged with murdering Mr. Ammon, is quoted as telling a lawyer that he removed the hard drive on the October 2001 weekend that Mr. Ammon was killed "on fear that someone would see the tapes, what is on the hard drive." The lawyer, Michael Dowd, also said in the deposition, made on Oct. 5, that Mr. Pelosi told him he had heard Mr. Ammon's estranged wife, Generosa, conspire with unnamed others to kill her husband....

From what I have read about this Pelosi, he sounds like a two-bit punk who would do anything for money. I believe that Generosa had a screw loose and probably was egged on by Pelosi to make sure that she got her 'fair share' of Ammon's money. I also believe that Pelosi killed Ammon. Both Generosa and Pelosi were partners in this crime, with Pelosi doing the dirty work. I hope that Pelosi gets what he deserves--and it's not Ted Ammon's money. What a sad, sad story (for Ted and his children, that is).
