These are 2 different instances I believe. The 4 yr old said something about being afraid of SK because he threw her or the little baby on the bed AFTER she got safely to her dad and dads' family's home just 11 days ago. This is something she has said recently about SK. That is really heartbreaking but I'm sure she will never ever be in the company of her mother or any of her mother's bf's again. Correct me someone if I got that wrong. tks

I *think* FM said they found the cut (scab) on Elaina's head Memorial Day weekend and K told them then that SK had slung her on the bed causing the injury. The scared statement was made the day Elaina went missing, after TJ had dropped K off with FM and headed back to the King home with his father.

Know what's hard? When you can't talk about the sc anner thread up here, and you can't post rumors, <MODSNIP> and can't explain why.

And didn't TJ say in the raw video that Sunday that Angela was not supposed to bring the kids to JK's house because of abuse and problems in that household ?

from the video of AS in court, i see a woman who is mentally/emotionally challenged and ripe for manipulation by others. i think she's telling the truth about what happened and still doesn't even know/understand the details. i think she was lied to and also threatened and she believed both.

I see nothing resembling a challenge.

I don't think that TJ's family "assumed" anything. FM has said that TJ witnessed Angela being rough with the children and threatened to leave her if she didn't change. He then followed through with leaving her.

I'm not understanding the viewing of Angela as challenged in any way. She doesn't come across as being brilliant but she reminds me of Casey Anthony - young, shallow and narcissistic. Angela seems to have a good command of the English language (even if she uses it to make rage inducing comments) and she is capable of turning on the tears when it suits her.

Agree VA mom-on all points...

AS told investigators her child had "sustained serious physical injury". OMG... :(

I have a challenged adult son- he does not have the language skills demonstrated above. Having maternal/paternal instinct and protecting your children is not rooted in IQ points, and neither is common decency, which he has plenty of.

Angela is all about Angela.

BBM. Maybe this has been addressed, I don't know. If all of this was going on, and people witnessed it, how come nobody reported it? Or has CPS been involved with this family all along? I missed the relationship between FM and the rest of these people... and I'm not trying to offend, but if people have seen Angela treating her kids like garbage and they didn't report it, I'd love to know why. I don't understand how anyone can stand by knowing kids are being mistreated and not do anything. If someone witnessed a cut on the back of the baby's head and heard from the 4 year old that it came from the baby being thrown on the bed and hitting her head...why wasn't it reported?? Even if you think someone has already reported it, it does not hurt to call again. I get the feeling that everyone knew Angela was a terrible mother and nobody did anything about it. I hope that's not the case. I hope she was reported for every single incident, but I have a feeling that isn't how it all happened...

Edit to say... sorry if this has been addressed... I'm only on page 13 I think.

Super, I just spent alot of time looking for this from you..... I HAVE WANTED TO KNOW THE SAME THING FROM THE BEGINNING!!! I still haven't gotten an answer for that. It doesn't make you popular when having to do this.
However, this babies Mother has MANY people saying she miss treated her. (Elaina) WTH?

Elaina’s father speaks out after her mother’s arrest: Terry Steinfurth has been staying out of the spotlight... http://dlvr.it/3WNW5Y

Terry Steinfurth has been staying out of the spotlight since his 1-year-old daughter Elaina disappeared almost two weeks ago, but after the arrest of his estranged wife Wednesday night, he spoke out.

Terry says he would like more details, but right now, that's all police are saying.

"I'm not gonna bash anybody or point fingers at anybody, but I feel justice is being served," Terry said after Angela's arrest.

If any additional charges are filed against Angela regarding the disappearance, Terry says it will depend on what further information police uncover.

"She made several mistakes," Terry said. "I'm not gonna say she was directly responsible for anything, but my daughter was in her care at the time this happened."

Terry and others continue to pray for the safe return of Elaina. More citizen search patrols are scheduled to fan out across Toledo in coming days. Toledo Police are still investigating. They're chasing all leads that come in, which Terry says he appreciates.

"As long as they're out there beating the street like we are, they're doing their job," he said.

I know that you are reluctant to post much but is big sis doing ok? I hope she didn't witness the abuse of her sister and won't be haunted by what happened in that home. She is going to have it rough enough just understanding that her mother is missing from her life and why. She is lucky to have a father and grandparents that will support her and surround her with love. I hope that your entire family will eventually be able to heal and find some level of peace.

Kylee is doing okay, but says she misses her sister and wants her back home. We are trying to shield her from all the TV reports/videos. I don't think she knows her mom's been arrested, and it better stay that way.

RAW: Full interview with Elaina Steinfurth's father, 6/13'

http://www.toledonewsnow.com/story/22588965/raw-full-interview-with-elaina-steinfurths-father-613

The press conference was held a day after Elaina's mother and Terry's estranged wife Angela was arrested and charged with child endangerment.

Steinfurth spoke briefly about the charges against Angela, saying, "I feel justice is being served."

He said he does not want to point fingers or speculate on the involvement of Angela or her boyfriend, Steven King, at this time.

Steinfurth himself has limited information involving the investigation, but he says he appreciates the police doing their job.

"I'd like to know every detail, but obviously if they're calling me every five minutes, they're not really doing their job," he said.

I'm pretty sure none of these geniuses would take this poor baby to the hospital. I so would have taken her into my home.

Angela cannot be that mentally disabled. TJ is a well spoken and intelligent young man. I can't see him creating 2 children with someone who has arrested mental development at age 14. I think Angela has more of a Jodi Arias type mental disorder -- selfish, manipulative, passive aggressive -- coupled with a poor education. But she was smart enough to snag TJ as a mate and smart enough to hide a baby for 2 weeks and concoct a story for police. No sympathy here.

"We want to keep the baby's name front page, we don't want her shuffled to the back," explains Elaina's grandfather, Terry Steinfurth, Senior.

The toddler has been missing since Sunday June 2nd. Since then a massive search has been underway to find the 18 month old, and the family is holding out hope they find her alive.

"We are still praying that baby Elaina is still alive and we are planning on her coming home that way," says Steinfurth, Senior.

Angela's father Richard Schiewe was in court for his daughters arraignment. He says the stress of the missing toddler and suspicions over his daughter have split the family, "we're fighting, my family and TJ's family and we're fighting against each other. We can't do that. This is my granddaughter," says Schiewe.

A call for unity is what the family is asking for to keep the focus on finding Elaina, "we're trying to search every field, every weeded area, every alley, every vacant house in the city of Toledo we are trying to get," explains Steinfurth, Senior.

He sounds like a very strong young man....and sadly, it also sounds as if he has "old soul" kwim? :unhappy:

ETA He's behaving much better than I believe I would in that situation

I hope that Angela's family and TJ's family can put their differences aside and come together for baby Elaina. Now isn't the time to be fighting. I know this is so painful and hard for all. The truth will come out. Baby Elaina needs both sides of her family and so does her older sister.

Please God bring baby Elaina home tonight.

Just want to mention - FWIW - that in divorce/separation cases - abuse claims happen ALL THE TIME! If you are accusing an ex-spouse of abuse - you had better have evidence. It is sad, but if a child has a bruise and you cannot PROVE the other parent did it, you won't get much attention. If 100 people from the father's family and nobody from the mother's family say, 'she is rough with the kids', you won't get a second look.

From all I seen they are focus on the baby. The one's with more of the answers are the "KINGS"...

From my understanding, they have to check on the child not matter how many calls. Along with they can't tell who called. They have to check if a child has any makes on them.
I heard this from DEAN SPARKS ASSISTANT.
It doesn't matter if the parents are together or not. Anyone can call on ANY CHILD!!!
