No need to be snarky!!!! She admitted that SK injured Elaina, and obviously she didn't get the baby help. So, if that's enough "evidence" for GJ to find her guilty, then SK should be arrested, and turned over to GJ as well, because after all, AS says he is the one who hurt Elaina.

I can not imagine that her word alone would be enough to get anyone else arrested. She is hardly a credible witness.

Along with everyone, the statement AS made about just wanting baby Elaina back in one piece is quite disturbing. Why didn't she just say she wanted Elaina found, why add that strange and out of place "in one piece" to her statement? Is there a reason AS would think baby Elaina would not be found in one piece? I hate thinking about what AS possibly meant by saying that.

If AS and SK threw baby Elaina in that river, wouldn't the remains come to the surface and/or wash ashore after this much time? Or if the remains are caught on something, wouldn't the river searches have found something? I'm asking these questions that I hate asking because I'm not fully convinced that AS and SK threw baby Elaina in the river, though they very well could have.

Praying baby Elaina is found soon.

I don't think she meant anything by it. I hear that phrase used a lot in normal conversation. Like after driving home in a bad rain storm, I know I've said, "glad to be home in one piece."

Something that has weighed on my mind for a while...

1) early on, when they heard a fisherman had snagged a duffle bag, AS and RS rushed to the river. Since it is likely AS KNOWS what happened to Elaina, this leads me to believe that IF Elaina is in/near the river, they put her in some kind of duffle bag first. Possibly weighing down the bag with something so it would not float to the surface.

2) when they talked about AS and SK going on several errands, it made me wonder if they went to buy a duffel bag. I would guess LE has looked at tapes from the stores involved though.

Exactly! So, her words alone aren't enough for GJ to indict her. LE has to come up with some credible evidence. Just because she said," blah, blah, blah hurt the baby, but I didn't tell because I was scared." Doesn't mean she's telling the truth. LE obviously has the evidence to support her statement, or she wouldn't be in jail. I was simply stating in my first post that I hope the GJ hears more evidence to indict on FELONY child endangerment charges. If they don't, they can release her from jail.

That's true, I've heard that expression too, but not under these circumstances where the mother is the one along with her boyfriend who is responsible for her baby being gone in the first place.

then how can it be enough to get her arrested. That is my issue with SK free to go about his business.

There is something Angela said that always felt weird to me saying I just want her back in "one piece" it really stood out to me

I have heard that expression throughout my life and find nothing odd about it, although if you aren't familiar with the expression I can see where it would make a person take notice. Basically it just means back safe and sound.

Family happy case against Angela Steinfurth moves forward

http://www.toledonewsnow.com/story/...forward?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter

Family members say they are happy to see the case move forward.

"I'm happy. I'm so happy," said cousin Ginger Smith. "I hope they get to the bottom of this and they find something out real soon. We're happy. We're happy."

Nicole Collier will have more details about Steinfurth's courtroom appearance in her reports on WTOL 11 News starting at 5.

Babies are so small. Sadly, no matter how they are disposed of, it's typical to never find them.

Wonder what 4 year old might be saying. Hope she gets professional help. She has lost her mother & sister .

The best case, the 4yr old sister didn't see/hear anything. But I'm afraid with all the chatter about AS treating those kids like crap, it's likely the 4yr old knows more than she should. So, so sad.

"Her child endangering charges were transferred over to Lucas County Common Pleas Court for the next step. Toledo police officers will present evidence to a grand jury some time Monday, and members will decide if there's enough evidence to move forward with a trial. Once the grand jury rules, Steinfurth will be arraigned on the charges in Lucas County Common Pleas Court.

This does not mean the charge of felony child endangerment has been dropped. In fact, more charges could be still be added."

Much, much more at link, and hope that helps!

This was posted on the Nancy Grace FB page:

18-month-old baby Elaina vanishes from her bedroom in broad daylight—and after 23 days of searching, still no sign of the missing tot. We’ve just obtained a police report that details a possible sighting of the missing baby just hours before her disappearance! A witness comes forward, telling police they spotted Elaina’s mother inside of a convenience store with the child the morning she went missing—allegedly seeing the baby grabbing for items in the store but not talking. This as the tot’s mom is back in court, reportedly facing a grand jury in the next hours. Are police any closer to finding Baby Elaina? #BabyElaina www.HLNtv.com/Nancy

I hope this is true!

I read that somewhere. Facebook maybe? It was the girl that worked behind the counter and she said at that time Elaina had no bruises on her.

I hope we learn something today! I wish NG wouldn't start that "tot mom" thing. AS is not CA, and it seems every case involving a woman, especially in a missing/murdered child is compared to CA. AS is not CA, and baby Elaina is not Caylee.

I saw a post on the Find Baby Elaina fb yesterday that I think this may refer to. I didn't post it cause so many rumors, but I'll see if I can find it.

I read this on the Help Find Elaina FB this morning. Someone had posted a comment on one of the articles. Wasn't sure if we could discuss here. If As & Elaina was at the store, surely there is video surveillance. Also, since AS didn't have a car, who drove her? I know it was said her and SK went to the dollar store that afternoon, but I don't think it's ever been mentioned a store trip early that am.

She's off to see the wizard and I don't think she'll be going home to Kansas anytime soon.
