Diggs: this is a top priority case. A very emotional case.

...and scene.

they didn't know there was going to be a fight in the area

Reporter is now commenting on the way they first say the garage was NOT searched, and then later on other investigators say it WAS searched.

I personally do not believe they went in.

  • #528
I thought it made sense that they wouldn't be checking the rafters at first. They were looking for a live child at that time. No way would I think she climbed up to the rafters.

and they said they couldn't take the LE dogs in there d/t the condition of the property.. that being said the question about the tip from a private cadaver dog is concerning.

  • #529
They knew that the child was badly injured, but it never occurred to them that she may be deceased?

  • #530
The tip and the cadaver dog hit ON THAT GARAGE came from Justice for Nevaeh, they contacted LE, nothing happened. Ridiculous.

Guy is getting kind of worked up, but he CANNOT be surprised these questions are being brought.

Sounds like they kinda dropped the ball, huh? Or just weren't thorough enough in their search. They all got pretty defensive in replying to those search questions.

  • #532
says the cadaver dog that hit was from Indiana (private search group) re: tip that was called in about hit on garage

  • #533
I'm upset bc that woman with the cadaver dogs on Nancy Grace had mentioned the dogs getting a read around the back of the house where I believe the garage is located. Everyone laughed her off.

the area was very tough to search

they were looking for the missing child report from that location..

someone said they had a dog hit on the garage and called the tip in and that person said that police did nothing about it

le said they had cadaver dogs brought out to that location but due to condition of property they could not bring in the dogs

the police dogs.

they said garage searched physically

toldedo police drop ball? we did not drop the ball. this investigation is ongoing and active.. main thing you have to remember: we had to find that body.. that baby.. and we need to do the things we need to do to bring this to justice.

lots of deception in this case and we did what we had to do.

they were immature skeletal remains.

This makes my blood boil!!!!!! WOW WOW WOW, can't bring in dogs? WHAT? They searched garage physically? Nope, don't believe it!

Nurse thank you so much for posting everything that was said. You are very good at that!

JVM and Nancy will have more news on baby Eliana tonight. HLN will have news throughout the day as it comes in. I think more than likely it is her. Bless her baby soul.xox. :seeya:

perhaps they did further questioning based on the tip and that is what led them there.

They should have ripped that King house including the garage apart day one! They better be arresting more of that <Mod Snip> family.

  • #539
Given the condition of the house and garbage and stinky rotten food everywhere, I'm not really surprised. If you've never watched the show Hoarders, you should. That is what the inside of the house looked like and LE had to be careful where they stepped to not injure themselves during the search. So imagine how much worse their garage, they do not live in, might be .

A nightmare.

I am thinking an anonymous tip saying the baby was in the garage might have fixed that.
