"But at least one family member is angry at the police for how they handled the investigation, "the Toledo police botched this whole investigation. I tried working with them and do this and do that, trying to be fair with them, and they botched the whole thing," explains Richard Schiewe, " :ignore:

Isn't that cute? The man that raised and continues to defend the monster that harmed Elaina is butthurt that his attempts to be "fair" with LE were rebuffed ... I can't imagine why they didn't fall over themselves thanking him for offering up his unparalleled wisdom and assistance. Now if only the media would follow their lead and quit giving this buffoon a platform to spew his venom.

I think we all knew this was coming, that little E has been gone from this world for a while now. :(

Oh, little pumpkin. :( How could anyone have hurt you & dumped you in a box? This world is so wrong sometimes, it breaks my heart. Fly high, baby girl, with God to hold you & keep you safe & angels to sing you lullabies. :'(

From what I understand as a local..the box was recovered from a garage on PRENTICE street and the search warrant was conducted on Federal St..SK's house. Prentice is approximately a block or two over I believe.

So the garage where the remains were found is not SK's? Wonder who lives in the area where the garage is located or does anyone live there? In other words, is there a home associated with the garage and whose home is it?

As devastating and shocking it is that she was (presumably) found so close .. I do feel some relief. This sweet baby girl will not be forever lost like Haleigh Cummings, Trenton Duckett, Sky Metalwala, Kyron Horman...just to name a precious few.

My heart goes out to Elaina's loved ones. Especially her sister.

It was SK's (or his parents) garage. It was a detached garage at 704 Federal Street.

If so, and I have no reason to believe/doubt this msm report nor any others, what does this say about LE's investigation? Ack, troublesome at best.

Or, was the box removed and put back in a place previously searched?

I realize these questions have been asked upthread...surely hoping we all get some far better answers at tomorrow's presser!

I think we all assumed that Elaina would be found and with her would be all the answers but what we have now is even more questions. I'm driving myself crazy trying to make sense of it all. I feel like I have fallen down a rabbit hole and all the doors lead nowhere. I can't imagine how the family is feeling tonight.

According to the reporter's twitter, some women might have been scrapping, and TJ also yelled some obscenities at LE. (I'm sure he was very upset but I feel like they probably should have not gone to the scene, for their own sakes at least.)

The raw footage reveals highly charged emotions, but I'll have to watch it again to get a better idea of who is yelling at who--I found it a bit confusing at times.

It seemed to me to be more like one group of neighbours trying to prevent another group of neighbours from seeing what was going on in the garage. Maybe a verbal confrontation turned into a shoving match--the footage starts with the yelling between groups of people already underway. To be honest, the guy doing the loudest yelling did not seem to be TJ. The loud guy kept bellowing about finding out "who put his hands on my wife" and not listening to the very calm LE officers trying to establish order.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWGIlCWlmKk&feature=youtu.be

IIRC, Ohio law dictates that victims (in this case TJ, FM, KS, TS Sr, CC and the family) are to be informed by LE or prosecutors office IN ADVANCE of activities such as Thursday's search. If I were TJ, I'd be very upset that no one had extended that courtesy to me. JMO, but he has every right to his anger. I've heard both that TJ learned of the search from TV (NG) and that a neighbour who lived near the search area phoned him to let him know about the sudden police activity. Somehow, in all the activity that was taking place, LE missed making that connection.

In the days to come, there will be much fuller and more accurate accounts of what, in any case, seems to have been a very minor scuffle. Emotions were understandably very high, and I can see where people living in close proximity to the search boundaries might have felt threatened when a group of strangers began to gather near their home. It's all very sad and very human.

To be honest, if I were in TJ's position and I found out my baby's body might have been found and no LE rep had made an effort to notify me, not even the hounds of hell would have kept me from at least bearing witness to my baby being brought out of the cold darkness of that garage into the light. (It has not yet been established that the computer box with the heart drawn on it holds Elaina's remains.)

IMO, the rational response of stay at home, stay out of the way, stay back so no one will see you, stay away so you won't upset the people who may have helped to hide your daughter's body for three months--wouldn't cut it with me. It's perfectly sound reasoning, and would undoubtedly be the best advice thinking of safety. However, IIRC, the reporter could be heard telling his director (?) that TJ had arrived after the fight had started, so TJ could not have instigated the problem.

The shots I remember from the footage show TJ to be a deeply saddened man confronting, not his upset neighbours, but his worst possible nightmare.

There's conflicting reports about where exactly box was found as I posted in my link earlier the news article that stated it was found on alleyway of Prentice street. Anyone that googles Prentice to Federal street map can see its just the next street over separated by an alley that runs along the back of all the houses. What is weird is that a girlfriend and I actually pulled into that alley and parked at the garage of SK's house. looking from the street, it is a bit behind the house, to the right. The back of SK's yard had a brand new high white plastic solid fence that faced the alley (back of garage) and the side of the garage was fenced in with rusty chain link. Since I was 2 feet from the garage you could see it was ramshackle and packed full of crap. The newer white privacy fence has the gate to alleyway that SK reportedly ran out of to "look for baby" The house itself should be condemned. It's falling apart, has tarpaper instead of siding over most of it and the porch is falling apart. jmo but I think Elaina was dumped somewhere and then moved back to this location. It would be damn awful if she was always in the garage and police missed it. Also jmo, as I stated before, I always thought AS finding diaper under the bridge while alone by the river was a red herring so manpower was focused there. I only believe this because unless the body was encased in cement of packed with lye (which I think these 2 are to stupid to do) the smell would have been awful. I was literally 2 feet from that garage, in 90 degree weather and didn't smell anything. I was a nurse, you don't forget that smell and you can smell it a mile away. Although since she was so small decompensation could have been accelerated by heat and you don't smell bones. That just makes me believe even more that she was moved there. Why, I have no idea if correct.
The youtube video posted above is being filmed in front of 710 Federal st., that is where everyone was congregated. If you google 710 Federal Toledo Ohio you can go to end of street, turn right and see alley behind houses...SK's house in the 3rd one down (gray tarpaper) and you can see his garage.

I got this from the timeline in a prior thread. That was the garage they went to immediately? Hmmm....

According to JK, she and Steven went together out the back door to search the pool and garage. ("Julie says when Angela announced the baby was gone, she and her son, Steven, immediately went out the back door to begin looking in the pool, the garage, and nearby." - http://www.fox19.com/story/22481101/...issing-toddler )

According to reporters, one of the women sitting on a porch watching all the goings on was Julie King. [Jmo, but it was, after all, her garage. Perhaps she felt a need to see what LE would find there. It was her son who has been arrested. And those are her words, upthread courtesy of FM, to the effect that all SK could be charged with was indecent treatment of a dead body, that imply the depth of JK's knowledge about Elaina's demise. Again, JMO but will try to hunt down the relevant post tomorrow.]

This article also fills in many more details about Thursday's Search and Recovery at the King garage.

For instance, it states that even after LE intervened, some women continued to yell "an eye for an eye" and lunge at each other. (My guess is that frustration must be peaking for many people. It's been a long three months spent empathizing with this baby girl and her family. I speculate that frustration may have turned to anger.)

http://www.toledoblade.com/Police-F...remains-seized-from-site-where-tot-lived.html

The article also reinforces the fact that TJ and TS Sr arrived at the S&R scene after the fighting had begun, and, rather than escalating the situation, reporters say Elaina's father and grandfather tried to calm things down.

From one of the early threads, I swear I remember reading that after SK and Mike ran out back door, TJ went to look for them and found SK on Prentice St. I will try to go back and find it.

This effected me a lot more than I thought it would. I remember when her first thread was opened and thinking I hope she's just hiding the baby so she doesn't have to turn it over to the dad.

Then slowly things started to come out and it looked scarier and scarier. I think most of us have known for a while now that the chances of a happy ending were slim, but there's always that hope. That hope you have to hold on to just to keep your sanity.

All I could do all night was think about this sweet little girl and her family and burst in to tears. I would of been on here all night just rereading everything and looking at all of it again if I hadn't of been physically picked up out of the chair and moved.

They might find justice, but Ohio is still missing an angel tonight.
