OMG, how poor Emilliano must have suffered, probably his entire life. For some reason, she liked him the least and took out most of her feelings on him.

The five-year-old will remember, trust me. I also have no doubt he and his infant brother also suffered. Let's hope he's a resilient child and, with lots of help, will be able to cope with his horrible memories. I hope the baby gets the care and attention he needs so much. I only hope he is able to bond with a loving mother-figure. Neglected babies often can't.

Momster needs to be behind bars forever so she is no longer a threat to any children she might have birthed.

That is weird. I wanted to give Dad the benefit of the doubt for not stepping in; it's not always as easy as people think. I see people every day (usually dads) who lose track of their kids because the other parent doesn't want to be found. They change cell phone numbers every other week, they move around a lot, the non-custodial parent doesn't always have the financial resources to try to track them down. And, in the case of dads, if paternity hasn't been established legally, they don't have a lot of legal recourse. Also, in this case, it appears that reports had been made to Children's Services and they found no cause to remove him from the home. If they didn't want to remove him, it's not likely that Dad would have had the ability to do so.

That said, though, this statement about not judging gives me pause. Maybe he's feeling guilty because he didn't do more? I don't know, it's strange.

Her family thought she had moved out of town. The father is only 19 years old. She had to be 15 when the five year old was born. Three children at age twenty. That is a lot to handle. She probably kept them for the money.IMO.. A funeral Director in Cleveland has offered to bury him without charge. God Bless this child and I'm glad the rest are out of her care. I just hope there is no sob carp! She was old enough to make these babies, she should have cared for them or turned thhem over to authorities..But the money!!! IMO.:banghead:

Thanks for posting the article. At the beginning of this case, I said we would learn a lot and it appears we are.

Again, I'm not excusing her for what she is accused of but it is very clear she had some issues of her own as early as 8 years old. Wish there was a way to prevent these tragedies. There were so many warning signs but yet a child had to lose his life. I don't claim to have the answers. I'm just very saddened that no doubt there are many more out there.

Both cash and food assistance benefits are paid based partially on the number of people in your household, so more people = more cash and more food assistance. I don't know what, if any assistance she might be receiving, or whether the amount of assistance would have been an incentive for her to try to keep the kids, though.

This is sad yes but it should be handled differently. I do not want to make an issue of this its neither the time nor the place but these children need help. I dont know what will happen to her, its a toss up. Birth control is available to any mother in Camillias place also medical advice. I'm just fed up with babies being used as whipping boys.IMO.lease:

She was discarded as a child (foster care) but she decided to discard her baby boy by murdering him.

Hi n/t, I spent time in foster care also at age 14. My brother and I. To me it just taught me to take loving care of my babies (when I had them). She needed more time to write songs. IMO. It is soooooo sad. The other babies will have better care. :seeya:

BBM. All of this post I agree with and think it is very true in this case. But the part I bolded I really really agree with. After watching the video of the interview with Dad last night, I saw a lot of regret. If anything comes out of this case for him, I hope he ends up loving his other 2 babies even more and becoming an even greater Daddy to them.

I am so glad a funeral director is offering to take care of little Emiliano without charge. He deserves at least that.

This case has me just sick.

It seems like the garbage has become a common place for people to dump bodies, especially those of children. It really makes me wonder if this isn't what happened to a lot of the missing cases here that have gone unsolved: Sky, Kyron, etc. Dumped in the garbage, those bodies would be gone, never to be found, or very difficult to find, once they have been taken away by the garbage truck.

It's easy to dump a body into garbage, especially that of a small child. But very hard to find in landfill. I agree, some of the "missing" children probably ended up in garbage. Thankfully in this case police have acted quickly.

charges were issued w/ one count of agg. murder. Initial appearance tomorrow morning. Grand jury in the next couple of weeks.

Obtained two search warrants -- apt 9 on buckeye (trace evidence, etc looked for) -- other one was for a hair/bucal swab from the suspect

it meets the criteria by the Ohio code (prior calculation and design) for murder 1. might be more charges. They need to find the crime scene, she is NOT speaking to LE anymore, and the ME would have to explain COD. they only have the house on buckeye right now.

compared to an act of passion (?!?!?!) or doing something at the spur of the moment (IMO it is w/ that facebook post!!)

she was interview monday night by FBI. it started changing into the night and turned into a criminal investigation. obtained a statement from her (FBI). she has gotten an attorney. To locate the crime scene, the mother is the key (he says) and shes not speaking so they will be trying to go through the attorney and find this crime scene.

They are in the house and looking at other locations but otherwise they are at a standstill b/c the mother is not speaking. *No glaring indication that the crime took place there* (i.e. cleaned it up?)
