There was a talk about marriage, she told jurors.

"The defendant asked you if he had been single, would you consider marrying him?" Marshall asked.

Kaur said, "Yes, and I said yes if my parents agreed then I would."

Prosecutors also presented evidence Friday showing there were 183 calls between Kaur and Singh from mid-December 2018 through April 28, 2019, the night Singh's wife, in-laws and wife's aunt were murdered.

Singh defense team wants off the case; hearing today for second trial in quadruple West Chester homicide

HAMILTON — Attorneys, including Butler County Prosecutor Michael Gmoser, will be in court today for a pre-trial hearing to set a new trial path for Gurpreet Singh, a man accused of a quadruple homicide in 2019.

Attorneys, including Butler County Prosecutor Michael Gmoser, will be in court today for a pre-trial hearing to set a new trial path for Gurpreet Singh, a man accused of a quadruple homicide in 2019.

Gmoser stated to news media on Oct. 21, just hours after Judge Greg Howard declared a mistrial, that he would ask Howard to recuse himself from the second trial.


The defense has also filed a motion to withdraw from Singh’s case because he can no longer pay them.

Those issues will likely be part of today’s hearing.
