All of the above is true, assuming the individual in recovery cares about their recovery process.
There is often that one bad apple that doesn't care about doing what is right.
And I have to admit, my mind goes to the two cases I remember on 'the 1st 48', where the arrested killers were both residents of halfway houses when they committed their murders.
One perv was watching young women who lived a few houses away, and did a home invasion and killed someone in that home, when he watched the other roomies drive away.
Another man was arrested when they found a dead body in a vacant lot down the street. Traced it back to a crazy guy who was living in the halfway house, after his jail time for a drug arrest was over. He had met a woman and killed her the previous day.
I am not saying there is anyone in that home responsible for this missing boy. Just saying it is a possibility that should be looked into, IMO.
