I feel bad for JC -- every time he does an interview, it becomes a double-edged sword. While doing these interviews brings interest to the case, he's unfortunately not a polished speaker. I think he acts like a typical Fairfield guy, in a really stable, sweet relationship. The way he talks doesn't alarm me; I realize he says little things that seem to have deeper meaning, but it seems so clear that he's really just a simple, earnest guy who can't find his partner. He has no history of violence, and he has the support of his and her family. In interviews he sounds so worried and genuine.
ShouldBWorking, I think you have a good point related to how little news is being released in this case. It seems there is a cat and mouse game going on, especially with the "vibe" I get with how the friends are saying, "Someone knows something..." It makes me think there's a suspect. I just don't think it's JC.
I'll eat my hat if it's him. I think the theory that he just left, someone knocked on the door and she opened it thinking it was him; or someone came to the door looking like they needed help, and she grabbed her phone before trying to help the person. And who knows what happened after that...
I just wish it was a case of her running off with another man without realizing everyone would be looking for her, and that she's safe and this will cleared up soon. She seems like such a sweetheart from what I've seen and heard.
