• Just before 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Conway told his wife he was going to Home Depot in North Olmsted, about 10 minutes away, but he never arrived there.
• His car was spotted on camera at a hotel in North Olmsted about a half-hour later (about a half-mile from Home Depot)
• His car was found in an apartment complex next to the hotel the next day
• His cell phone was left behind

We are attempting to locate 67-year-old Michael Conway.

On Wednesday, October 8th, shortly before 7pm, Mr. Conway told his wife that he was going to Home Depot and left their residence in North Ridgeville. Attempts to contact Mr. Conway since that time have all gone unanswered.

Cameras showed Mr. Conway's vehicle driving in the area of Columbia Road and Cook Road in Olmsted Falls. At 7:30, the vehicle was seen on camera in the parking lot of Aloft Hotel on Great Northern Blvd.

On Thursday, October 9th, North Olmsted officers located Mr. Conway's vehicle parked and unoccupied in the parking lot of Butternut Ridge Apartments on Great Northern Blvd. While the vehicle was being processed for evidence, Mr. Conway's cell phone was located inside.

A thorough search of the surrounding areas, including the woods, was conducted by officers from both North Ridgeville and North Olmsted. At this time, Mr. Conway has not been located or contacted anyone.

Hopefully this is not against terms, but could he have been meeting a lady of the night, or an affair partner? Does she possibly live in the apartments where his car was found?

My thoughts went there too.
It would be a better outcome than foul play...although that could also end in foul play since his car moved from the hotel to the apartment building.

Where are you Michael? If you are safe just let someone know.

I wonder that too. Did he leave with her? Or could it be he was forced to go?

If this were a crime by someone else, why wouldn't they take the cell phone? Seems odd unless it was a random carjacking. However, the road he likely took does not seem to be a likely spot for a carjacking--particularly at that time of day.
