I heard them say that 11 out 13 they discuss the case. Almost every call discusses how they aren't allowed to discuss the case, but do.

Earlier, a motion for discovery for a box marked "important stuff". Defense wants the box for RN but pros say it was seized during the search warrant for the W4's. Doesn't pertain to RN's trial.

Yeah, the box sounds like a fishing expedition. JMO, the lawyers for all the W's and RN have been discussing ways to mess up the prosecution and fish for info and evidence about the murder cases. I guess they want to use it to get info about the murders and evidence out to the public before the murder trials.

I've no doubt FW, RW, RN and all the defense attorneys are meeting regularly to discuss strategies to screw up the trials begin. I could almost hear RN's defense attorneys today using arguments and CT type objections that were probably fed to them by FW. They're probably all marching to her drumbeat.

JMO, it's FW who has been behind all the tactics used so far to discredit the GJ hearings. Who else would come up with the crazy notion of saying there was some "mystery police officer in uniform" in the GJ hearings that no one else saw? Who else would come up with the idea to drop hints in the hearing implying that someone had tampered with the recordings of GJ testimony? That's all FW's crazy handiwork, JMO.

A very important piece of info against AW has been revealed here as far as the motion to revoke her phone privileges. AC clearly stated that in one of these recorded calls AW gave info to RN to pass along to another member of RN/AW family so that person can pass it along to JW. AW just shot herself in the foot since there is a recording of her contacting her co-defendants in the murders after being told multiple times in court specifically not to do so. JMO

Absolutely astonishing. I am completely awestruck at the gall these people have. They truly believe they do not have to obey the law. After RN's performance on the stand a little bit ago, I certainly see where AW gets it from. Mind boggling to me, to say the least. JMO

Deering getting ready to rule. He's going to expand the order - no phone calls can be taken by AW at RN's home. No phone calls can be taken by anyone else in her household.

Oh, that's a bad decision, JMO.

Re stuff the defense wants info from redacted stuff and unredacted. He wants stuff "off counsel". They want to share the evidence and have access to evidence from murders, including forensic evidence?

Oct 7 will have a hearing.

Yeah, I don't have a good feeling about this at all. It's a mess already with multiple people defying court orders, sharing a lot of information, strategizing about how to screw up the murder trials and the judge really did next to nothing about it. With this many murder trials, so many defendants, so much evidence, etc. they're going to end up with a mistrial.

And if one case ends in mistrial, I assume the rest will, too. Because no one could ever predict that a judge allowing defendants to make their own rules and run roughshod over the court could cause problems, right?

These cases need to get out of this jurisdiction, pronto. If possible, they need to move them out of the state. I'm beginning to wonder if any responsible parties in Ohio want to see these people prosecuted.

Well, at least we have Judge Deering's number now. We know what we can expect from him - not much.

Nearly every county bordering Pike has serious corruption problems with their criminal justice systems. Why would we expect anything to be different in Pike County? It must be something in the water down there.

Wow. Wow. Wow!!! I have been following this case since day one and today I just lost all faith in the Rhodens and Gilleys ever getting justice. What a sad day.

Nope, it cuts out the part where AC plays the recording of the phone calls and the Judge gives his ruling.

Of the bad things that happened in this hearing:

• Defense attorney was a bumbling idiot. He was requesting things he hadn't even filed motions for, and the Judge was practically granting them.

• AC didn't really object very strenuously to any of this. Junk didn't seem to upset either. I guess they don't mind being made into fools for the rest of these trials as the judge allows the murder co-defendants to flaunt rules and openly discuss how to derail the case.

I don't think I heard him give a reason why he ruled that way. I also didn't hear AC or Junk object in any way. They just seemed to shrug and go along with it. Will need to see if there is any surviving video of that part of the hearing that shows up on YouTube to verify what happened. My feed only picked up when Judge Deering was nearly finished.

He basically rushed through reading his decision to let RN still live at home. He droned on about how wrong it was for her to do that, then basically did very little. No reason.

The live feed going out when they were playing the recordings in the courtroom is really odd.

Not sure which infuriates me more...the flagrant disregard ALL SIX of the accused have for the law or the fact that the judge is allowing it to happen. (one angry face for each of the victims, not enough angry faces in the world for what the survivors of the eight victims are being put through.....) JMO
