So are you from the area? Piketon is actually about 15 miles from where the murders took place and you just might be surprised in how some people have reacted to these horrible, and IMO senseless killings. I have heard some pretty cruel things said.

No, I am note from the area. I'm in a neighboring state. I have been following from day one. Hoping there is justice for those babies. Just makes me sick.

The Hazlitt essay, Murder on Union Hill Road, shows what you are saying but for everyone who shoots off their mouth making disparaging remarks against the Rhodens there are plenty of people who want justice and are looking forward to seeing it delivered. There are many articles out there quoting friends who remember the Rhodens as being good hard working people.

Chris Jr. -- A teen with a goofy sense of humor, fierce love for his family, stood up for kids who were not being treated fairly, strong sense of fair play. A typical country boy who liked cars and Demolition Derbies, rode 4 wheelers up and down UHR road, and stayed up late to play video games etc....Also raised heck now and again like other teen boys.

Dana -- Would give you the shirt off her back, would do anything for her kids and was proud of them, helpful and supportive to her parents and other family, worked full time plus sold cars on the side, faith in God, would bring in treats and gifts for her co workers and the people she cared for. Was really loyal to her friends, she had your back.

Well you don't mince words thank you for that. That tattoo is listed in the evidence and I believe it will be used against him. In my opinion, from a photo I had posted some time back, it looks like Billy didn't have this tattoo in Alaska 2017. Which means he acquired it after the murders, and with 8 body segments it's quite significant.

The laser focus was June 2017 and they came back to Ohio 6 months before their arrests approximately in May 2018---almost a year later. I think they thought if LE had anything on them they would be arrested by now and they thought they were in the clear. They likely thought they "pulled one over" on DeWine and that he was only "blowing smoke."

I guess Billy celebrated by getting a "trophy" tattoo. Ha! It backfired big time! Good photo of it courtesy of Betty P.

There can be several reasons for that. If they were still using Rural Route 1, 2 or whatever, there won't be a log to find unless you know the name of the property owner when it was put in and the log shows the location sufficiently. Mine just says "about 1/2 mile east from "X" road. It doesn't even say which side of the road it is. I had to use the name of the property owner when it was installed to find my log.
Knowing the property owner name or the company name of the well driller when the well was put in will help in a search. Then there is always a possibility that no well log was sent in to the ODNR.
There are places with a very shallow water table where owners used a drive casing and a sledge hammer to drive the casing deep enough to get water.

I think about this family every single day. It's just so brutal. I'm sure it's only going to get worse as we find out more info. I think all 4 were shooting that night. Snakes don't even trust each other. It was how they were sure no one would talk. I think both grannies knew what was going to happen. Dana being shot so many times and in the way she was just screams hatred. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they let her live while her kids were being shot. They wanted her to know. That's probably why it took so many bullets to bring down CR. He knew what would happen next. Lights could have been on and they could have been awake if they were ordered back to their beds. But poor CRjr tried to hide anyway. Hurts my heart. I think they could have had a portable cell phone jammer. There was too much risk otherwise.
I don't think these animals just wanted this family dead. I think they wanted them to suffer. I have seen nothing near regret or remorse on any of their faces. There will be no flipping on family to get a lighter sentence IMO. GW4 may have made cute little comments on Facebook or elsewhere about how his kid is the most important thing in the world. Clearly that's not true at all. Normal parental love doesn't exist for these people. It's ownership. It's control. And using the kids to control others. I'm sure he can't stand the little boy being with his mom. Ownership. Control.

We don't know what type of bullets were fired at Chris. There could be 2 different types. Yes 2 shooters likely went after him, the killers would be too cowardly to take Chris on--one on one-- while he is awake

And if the killers found Gary and Chris both home at the same time, I agree that 2 would go after Chris, and one after Gary. Chris held back Gary's money so it wouldn't surprise me if a killer held a gun to Gary's head and said to Chris "where do you keep all the money?"
