Clear to me. Two photos of what they found, just like the photos of the BP vests found at FWF and listed in Discovery. JMO
Another reason I forgot to mention as to why I think they probably
found a 1911.22 is because right below it they list:
Ballistic Evidence
Submission Form
Report of Findings

Yes, CC. I agree. They go together and are in this Discovery. Thanks!

Is our Junk trash? Which side is he on?

Here is the link in which junks dismissal is critiqued as nepotism by watchman. It alludes to junks defense/explanation of dismissals. It is this explanation(screen shot yet to find) in which junks publicly calling reader out for serving an arrest warrant on an individual who had already given da office a proffer agreement (info on distribution crew) . Have to remember in Ohio Pike county two steps- first arrest then da decides whether to indict/ask grand jury indict. Most of good ol boy network includes this process. Individuals are arrested county seizes money property vehicles drugs equipment . Dealer bonds out ($$). Da fails to bring case to grand jury (after proffer) or grand jury doesn't indict. County keeps civil forfeiture bondsman keeps 10% fee drug dealer keeps selling addicts keeps dying. And the money wheel turns. Proffer is a junk buzzword Rita's in the mix. Moo

Yes, IMO. To your first question.

Well, hopefully that's the case. It could also just refer to stock photo of that type of gun. Doesn't really specify. Hopefully its the one. IIRC, we discussed this before, this would have to be the smaller gun used in the murders.

ETA: If this is one of the guns they used (similar to one used in the Boondock Saints movie) how odd they chose to use a nice gun from their own collection, instead of one that couldn't be traced to them and disposed of immediately after the murders.

BBM

My first thought is it means the killers were emotionally involved or invested in the killings, that is:
- proud of the revenge;
- motivated by anger;
- hatred toward the victms;
- hubris, as in they were sure they'd get away with murder;
- identifying with the movie characters while acting out;
- believing in their own cleverness.

IMO (not a psychoanalyst) MOO

Great analysis, Fletcher! I agree with everything you said!

Reading this article again, reminds me of just how close this family was in life, and in death. My heart breaks for all of them and especially Ms. Geneva. I hope she gets to see justice for her loved ones in her lifetime.

She is the true picture of strength and what a loving momma she is, and was to her kids. My heart aches when I see her tears.

I also think of Miss Geneva often. She has attended every hearing, and it can’t be easy for her, physically or emotionally.

I think of Hannah Hazel Gilley Family too.
iirc, Hannah was very close to her Grandparents, and I believe her grandfather DG has since passed on.
I did meet him and talk with him, (LM too) and expressed my condolences at Hannah Hazel’s fundraiser/memorial in May 2016 at Berils.

I guess I wonder how many years will go by before these extended family members see four cases brought to trial, a conclusion, justice, closure.

Today I feel very, very sad, deep sadness, all over again

How beautifully put.

I can't imagine how it feels to you, knowing/having met the surviving loved ones of those lost. I know there are several posters on this thread who know, or at least have met in passing, not only those who died in this senseless tragedy but also those accused of the crimes. I am sure there are more heavy-hearted days to come for you all before the murder cases are resolved, a unique sadness as you watch this process in real life. I only see a glimpse of it at a time, through a website.

I am only an outsider looking in, don't live anywhere near Pike County, not even in the same state. I know the heartache I feel on occasion when I look at pictures of the eight people who senselessly lost their lives in this nightmare. It's all so surreal to me. They look so happy, so full of life and love.......and then I have to remind myself that these people are no longer living. It is hard for me to believe at times that they are gone. I can't imagine how hard that is for you and the other posters who know the families/live in the area, let alone how terrible this long process is for the Rhoden, Gilley and Manley families and will continue to be, even after the murder cases are resolved.

My heart goes out to you all.

Yes. And now we know it's multiple shooters.

Before the arrests we didn't know how many shooters but now we know we are dealing with 3 or 4 shooters so I don't think it was necessary for 3 or 4 shooters to go in with guns in both hands or to go in and shoot - then stop -
then reholster- then unholster a 2nd gun. That's too slow, DeWine said they did this quickly.
I do think they each had an extra gun holstered away in case the gun of choice jammed up.

With Gary being shot with larger caliber bullets I have theories about this:

1.) One of the shooters was carrying a gun with larger caliber bullets but it was the other 2 or 3 who did all the shooting. The killer with the gun with the larger caliber bullets only shot Gary and no one else.

2.) The killer who shot Gary carried the gun with larger caliber bullets into the house, shot Gary, then decided for some reason not to use it again. So that killer holstered it and then unholstered a 2nd gun with smaller caliber bullets and helped shoot the others with that 2nd gun only.

...Just my take on it....

BBM, JMO but in my own mind of logic, I can’t exclude the fact that GR was the only one shot with the larger caliber. The only mention of a larger caliber shell was the media quoting GR’s dad but there is no other mention of shell sizes or any other family members mentioning any details other than the # of shots per victim. The autopsies were redacted in those details. So in my little demented mind I cannot exclude the weapon NOT being used on other victims. Also, we don’t know who the owner and/or user of the weapon was. Perhaps GR had it on him and one of the perps stripped it and used it on him. I just have too many unknown facts to convince me that 1) the larger caliber was only used on one victim, 2) there was only 1 shooter vs multiple shooters, or 3) the same shooter was responsible for all the shots made to any one of the victims. JMOO.

‘Just wondering, do you think these photos are actual photos of guns in evidence, or Googled copies of similar guns or perhaps the photos are just copies of the FB postings of JW giving warnings to HMR & CG? I see there were ballistics in the same evidence listing but is it the actual ballistics of the actual gun in evidence or photos of similar guns matching the FB photos?

IMO, Discovery would only include pics of the real evidence found. Examples? Nah, never. IMO

It's 2 photos not like it's just one off of facebook. I think if it is a photo there would be one photo. Also I think there is a reason that the gun is listed above the ballistic evidence.

...2 Cents....

The only reason I can think of for it not being a real gun is because why was it left behind?
Also there are 2 photos listed, not 2 pages, 2 photos. That brings in the possibility of 2 guns and not just one, like in a collection as someone mentioned previously.

Also, maybe they found some Boondock Saints memorabilia collectables and not just the DVR.

I have a few questions about the timeline...It states the time of death is a little after 8am but the first 911 call went out before that time. Is it a mistake in websleuths or is it info put on death certificates?

Someone also looked at the ownership of each mobile home. Did anyone note the make and model of the homes?

JMO, it's hard to say if it's a gun they actually found on W property or an example. The description isn't really clear.
It's important to remember all we ever see is a general index of the volumes of Discovery filed. I believe the State is deliberately vague in their descriptions.

Ah, but you can print copies of photos from Fb as I print photos of my granddaughters from Fb all the time. I just click on the photo, save it as .jpg, send it online to any online photoshop and it comes out at either Walmart or CVS as a nice photo suitable for framing. Also, the photo (we assume only 1) of JW holding the guns found on HR’s page is only one but it’s possible there are others found on a cell phone or computer but JW may have taken several but only sent 1. Even if these may not be the actual weapons (or maybe they are) these photos would be EVIDENCE to show threat or intimidation. I‘M not trying to be difficult but I try to look at things from every angle to determine the usefulness and how it could be used/discredited in court.
