Don’t you think it to easy for JM to find the tracker, it was like a couple days after BCI installed it, JMO But I think the Wagners had one of the Victims phones that was in the pounded as evidence or something of the BCI had found that the Wagners to listen to the Rhodens with and the BCI found it, the BCI was talking around the bug or maybe a person that the Wagners had on the payroll that was Law Enforcement and that was how the BCI narrows it down who the killers where , I believe the Wagners told JM where the tracker was, JMO
What I’m saying is the BCI used JM to prove that the Wagners where the killers, JMO

You just gave me an added thought. This is complete theory and speculation and tomorrow I may say to myself it’s ridiculous but.. What if the means of the truck in the crime of aggravated murder was that Wags were monitoring James or UHR via the truck in order to carry out the murders? If they attached something to the truck a GPS/Camera etc. that would make it a means in the commission. Depending on where it was parked maybe they suspected Wagners had a camera attached to it so they could monitor vehicles coming onto UHR road that night. Maybe we just need to look at means beyond a moving vehicle. It could even have something to do with a jammer sending/blocking that 2 am text.

I agree CR looked visibly shaken at the press conference. Kind of like he had just heard very troubling news and was still trying to process it. Maybe realizing the full extent of how LE had been duped for a year by the Wagners.

I'd love to know what time the press conference was and what time JW was interviewed that day.

Remember, too, DeWine mentions during the April 13, 2017 PC all the data BCI retrieved as evidence. Between prior interviews poly exams, data retrieved and the interview with JW, something had CR shaken. Whatever it was, it wasn't quite yet enough to make the W's pack up and head to AK yet, though they had already begun that process.

As for the SW and the red truck, that was the most confusing part of JM's arrest. He didn't own the red truck at the time of the murders. It almost seems like BCI wanted JM locked up in jail while they questioned the 4 Wagners and searched their farm.

JMO, CR possibly knew, by this point, that JM was not their suspect, but JW was. I still think the "red truck used in the commission of a crime" was a ruse. It's Pike County, after all. They weren't too worried about any judge calling them on that. Recall, too, it was BCI who put together the SW and set up the whole operation for planting the GPS tracker, not PCSO.

I just have a hunch CR and BCI were not on the same page at this time, though they were soon after.

Good theory. IIRC, at one point we theorized one of the W's had someone driving the red truck to check out traffic on UHR, but having it parked somewhere would work, too. There was some news media mention of a vehicle seen on the security cam video at the Union Hill Church that night. There was mention of other security video retrieved from area businesses, so, right or wrong, we assumed someone was driving the red truck around. But, agree, the W's could have just put a camera on it and left it parked somewhere along UHR, then later gave it to JM in order to frame him.

Some of you are on the right trail, and God forbid if a hillbilly, backwoods "sherf" (sic) could ever figure out what those city slickers took credit for. Wasn't gonna' happen. Hmm.

This would make sense to me. I do think the W's tried to frame JM, and perhaps they perceived he was a "weak" target with LE. I recall, and I'm sure others here recall one of the first interviews given by LM. He was very upset about LE taking his son's truck, which, IIRC was parked in DR's driveway.

Once again all Theory until you get to the article:
Yes. I wonder if it was possible at that time the Wagners being “friendly” with James positioned it as “here man we got a truck you can use while the law has yours” Or even, “hey man can you fix this truck for us (To get it at least parked in the yard)” Unknowingly at that time that it possibly had something attached to it or done with it that allowed the Wagners to monitor James and his activities and the visits of LE or others while parked in the Manley driveway. This, as Johnny noted in his theory, could have been a huge piece to the Wagners getting themselves nailed. LE enforcement was figuring out one of the ways Wags were staying ahead of the investigation and a piece of it has something to do with that damn truck.

This article:
Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine’s spokesman declined to say if James Manley is a suspect in the case, but authorities have made no comments on specific suspects.

DeWine himself said the public should not “read a lot into” the arrest or a series of massive searches over the weekend at three locations in Pike and Adams counties.
Leonard Manley said the vehicle did not belong to his son the day of the murders, but couldn’t remember who owned it then.

My opinion: Because it wasn’t about James’s arrest. It was still about the truck and whatever its “means” of use were.

Pike County Murders: Father says it’s like ‘tearing the scabs off us’

And I completely failed at dropping this topic as I said I would do...o_O

Can you expand on this? Even if only in hypothetical terms. Thanks much!

This is probably a dumb idea but....

Maybe the Wags "borrowed" the red truck in the middle of the night without JM's knowledge.

They could have driven it past some or all the crime scenes that night and also sent him the "alleged text" so it would later look like JM was somehow involved.

I don't think it's a dumb idea. It just doesn't fit with Leonard stating it didn't belong to his son the night of the murders.

When Leonard made his statement, (It was a custody thing), or something to that effect, What else did Leonard say? He was right on target about custody, Maybe he was spot-on the rest of his statement.

Question asked of LM by the Daily Mail, you can hear his British accent:

"Do you believe that the marijuana had something to do with the murders?"

Leonard Manley's immediate answer to that question:

"I don't know I think it was just road rage attack and maybe a child custody thing."

39 seconds in reporter asks the question.

and they kept asking "how much did they pay you to kill your family" if I remember correctly.

Leonard said they asked BJM that question.

What do I think? Well, there just is no way in a snowballs chance of the Wagners telling JM about a tracking device on his truck. If the Wagners knew about a tracking device on his truck it would only be because the Wagners put it there themselves. It's easy to do, PI's are always doing this.

No I do not believe any Wagner including the Matriarch had LE on the payroll. Too cheap!

Yes it is interesting that in such a short period of time, the date unknown, JM found the tracker. What are the odds he just happens to be working under his car in that precise time frame?

I think he was actually looking for one because he was suspicious that LE saw him as a suspect. Certainly his dad has said as much, including the cops asking him "how much he was paid to kill his family" and they told him he flunked a lie detector test which could have been a lie, a ploy by them for information.

Yes the Wagners could have left one of their spy listening devices around by forgetting one, then it's too late.

I think that Jake likely did put tracking devices on the Rhoden's cars when stalking. I bet he and mommy dearest...cough... put tracking on Hannah when she and Jake were living back and forth at their house.

Wow, awesome if LE found a tracking device on a Rhoden car that the "Coon Duck Gang" accidently left behind. Then hasta la vista Wagners! Murphy's Law at work again.....

One of the articles quoted that JM found it and "smashed it on the sidewalk," which would certainly disqualify his residence. I haven't made up my mind on all the tracker stuff yet, but I do believe this did speed up the Wagners getting out of "Dodge." At this point, I have learned speculation isn't worth anything compared to evidence, alot of which we don't have, and which makes the red truck truths worth their weight in gold. And, no one on here seems to want to run the red truck theories to the end, one by one. So here we sit. JMO
