Different JK.
Yes. I said the JK - Violet R T former suspect - is different from the one you mentioned. I don't remember having any conversations about any JK's except the VRT one, but I'm always interested in what goes on in the area, like with BH. I talked with his gf through "Justice for Billy" facebook messages.

Those were 2 very fishy murders and there is a photo of BH with Jake and GW4, which I find rather interesting considering that BH went missing at the time of the Wagner's committing murder and he was shot in the head. No I am not saying the Wagner's did it.....2 Cents.......

Ok. You guess jail garb and I'll guess regular clothes - although I think it's 50/50 - and we will see! Reporters and Fred had mentioned GW4's weight loss so I wonder how he will look now? He looked real different:

The reason I'm guessing same old jail garb is because that's what she was wearing at her last hearing, and I don't see how that could change unless it was through the court. Correct?

She is allowed and has been allowed to wear her own clothes.....

From Angela's December 11th, 2019 court hearing:

Judge Deering (quote from hearing)

"I'm not sure whether a motion has been filed in this regard or not. I'm sure that it was granted but also note that she's not appearing in civilian clothing. I want to make it clear that the court has granted that motion in other cases and if that's the desire of the defense then the court will grant that in this case too"

"that she can appear in civilian clothing."

I still say she will be wearing jail attire at her hearing this month. JMO Guess we will have to see, but I have NO doubt, 100% sure.

I think you could be right Loomis, but if it's true, then why?

Coronavirus could delay trials further
Editor's note: This story was corrected to reflect Sophia Wagner is in the custody of a family member.

Four years have passed since a family of eight were killed execution-style in their homes, and still the largest homicide investigation in Ohio history has yet to see a murder trial.

The trials are set to begin this fall, said attorney Robert F. Krapenc. He represents Angela Wagner.

“I think we had all hoped, and we still hope, to try these cases sometime in the fall. Because they have been – they’re getting long in the tooth. They’re getting old," Krapenc said.

But delays due to the novel coronavirus might interfere with the original intention to begin trying members of the Wagner family this fall. Mark C. Collins, Billy Wagner's attorney, said things have been "put on hold."

"Basically we’ve been on hold for two months," Collins said. "We have pretrials scheduled in middle of April. Now they’re going be moved to middle to late June. So, that could delay the start of a trial. Again, I just don’t know yet.”

Collins said the Wagner family attorneys have yet to receive the government's discovery document.

The same reason she hasn't yet. Who knows what that reason is? Not I.

It's just Collins and the other defense attorneys trying to stall longer so they can bill for more hours. Maybe they're worried more W's will take plea agreements and the trials will never happen. Defense attorneys will miss out on a lot of money if that happens, so best to get as much of it now while its still in the pre-trial phase.

Defense has all the evidence and they've had a very long time to study it. They even got the judge to shell out more cash to hire someone to help them organize it. Now they still keep delaying.

They 4 Wags should follow the example of the Golden State Killer Josephe DeAngelo and just take a plea deal to avoid the death penalty. DeAngelo knew the handwriting was on the wall with his DNA evidence and all the other evidence compiled by prosecutors. The 4 W's are in much worse shape than DeAngelo. The state has much, much more evidence against the Wagners, but otherwise they're similar to the serial killer. A bunch of losers who killed innocent people in their sleep. Just for their own sick amusement. And in the end, they're all pathetic cowards.

JMO, it's just a matter of time before another one takes a deal.

George 'Billy' Wagner III files motion for 'reasonable' bond in Pike County Massacre case

It’s rather jolting after so much time - to see in writing a defense attorney’s insinuations the prosecution has not shared complete discovery with the defense and what has been given might be insufficient. Sure hope this type of headline & defense tactic does not pollute the jury pool into having the false belief that modern cases must have DNA or direct observation witnesses in order to be a strong case.

6/15/20 (BBM for emphasis)
George "Billy" Wagner III's attorney, Mark Collins, filed a bond motion Monday pointing out that the state has delayed filing discovery in the case for 2 ½ years since Wagner’s indictment...

Review of the incomplete discovery reveals no connection between Mr. Wagner and the Rhoden family deaths,” according to the motion. "The State provides no eyewitness testimony alleging seeing Mr. Wagner perpetrating the crimes as charged. There is no evidence linking Mr. Wagner to these alleged crimes. There is no physical evidence that links him to any of the crime scenes.”

The motion cited several other issues it says have raised questions about the state’s case, specifically:
  • The demotion, investigation, and resignation of former lead investigator Michael Trout;
  • The resignation last month of former lead prosecutor Angie Canepa from the Ohio Attorney General's Office. (Canepa returned to the case June 4 as special prosecutor to assist Prosecutor Robert Junk, according to a court filing);
  • A break-in at the trailer where evidence in the case is being held;
  • The state’s decision to drop charges against Fredericka Wagner, Billy’s mother;
  • The deal that allowed Rita Newcomb, Wagner's mother-in-law, to plead to a misdemeanor.

He can make those claims. Can he back them up with facts? Are they on a fishing expedition to get the Prosecution to release evidence to prove he should not get bond lowered?

A person that owns a gun and pawn shop doesn't have to necessarily abide by the law.

What if someone owned a gun and pawn shop and was also involved in other businesses? What if it was their mom/wife/daughter that owned the gun/pawn shop?

I do believe that someone that for example 'sells cars, realtor or something else' and wants your business they MIGHT just sell you guns (under the table) if they want your other business. Especially, if they are your friend and you say (for example) that I will do this for you if you will sell me guns under the table. JMO.

In the State of Ohio, you also have to prove you reside in the same state that you are purchasing a firearm plus your age.

It's not really under the table then, right? In the case where it's technically a private sale between friends (when the seller isn't a licensed dealer), I mean? If I understood the law, for a private sale, one just needs to prove residency and age?

Looks like the defense laid out their case to the public and it's pretty weak. Good luck fellas. :rolleyes:

Sounds like they're trying to go for the OJ Simpson defense, claiming evidence tampering. Sorry, but there haven't been any break-ins anywhere. Evidence wasn't stored in a trailer. All evidence has been stored off site.

The deal with Rita Newcomb was a "win" for the prosecution, saving a lot of time and expense.

AC resigning from state AG job and contracting to the PCPO means nothing.

And there is DNA evidence, along with security cam video, ballistic evidence, blood in personal autos, and all that digital evidence - phone conversations, purchasing of equipment, ammo, clothing, etc. Hacking of computers, social media and cell phones of the victims and their families and hundreds of digital messages and texts, voicemails, etc.
