Any word on when the Grand Jury is going to hear the McDaniels' case? I have a note that says it will be after July 12th.
TIA!
TIA!
How can the Police Department hold Billy Wagner in jail for 2 1/2 years without proof for the arrest, somehow I think FW could be behind this article? JMO

Yes only 1 year 7 months not 2-1/2 years. Someone is exaggerating tacking on an extra 11 months...Humm...I also wondered if FW was the driving force behind this motion.
But I'm a little confused by this MSM article and also the motion, itself, filed by BW's attorney. All six accused in the Rhoden murders were arrested 11/13/2018. According to my math skills, that means his client has only been held in jail for 1-1/2 years, not 2-1/2 years. Am I correct? JMO

It's just Collins and the other defense attorneys trying to stall longer so they can bill for more hours. Maybe they're worried more W's will take plea agreements and the trials will never happen. Defense attorneys will miss out on a lot of money if that happens, so best to get as much of it now while its still in the pre-trial phase.
Defense has all the evidence and they've had a very long time to study it. They even got the judge to shell out more cash to hire someone to help them organize it. Now they still keep delaying.
They 4 Wags should follow the example of the Golden State Killer Josephe DeAngelo and just take a plea deal to avoid the death penalty. DeAngelo knew the handwriting was on the wall with his DNA evidence and all the other evidence compiled by prosecutors. The 4 W's are in much worse shape than DeAngelo. The state has much, much more evidence against the Wagners, but otherwise they're similar to the serial killer. A bunch of losers who killed innocent people in their sleep. Just for their own sick amusement. And in the end, they're all pathetic cowards.

JMO, it's just a matter of time before another one takes a deal.
He can make those claims. Can he back them up with facts? Are they on a fishing expedition to get the Prosecution to release evidence to prove he should not get bond lowered?
STATE OF OHIO -vs- WAGNER, III, GEORGE WASHINGTON
Canepa returned to the case June 4 as special prosecutor to assist Prosecutor Robert Junk, according to a court filing:
06/04/2020 ENTRY APPOINTING SPECIAL PROSECUTOR, ANGELA CANEPA FILED
06/15/2020 BOND MOTION---COUNSEL FOR THE DEFENDANT MOVES THE COURT TO GRANT GEORGE WASHINGTON WAGNER III A REASONABLE BOND, WITH APPROPRIATE RESTRICTIONS IN PLACE FILED
IN THE BOND MOTION:
“Review of the incomplete discovery reveals no connection between Mr. Wagner and the Rhoden family deaths. The State provides no eyewitness testimony alleging seeing Mr. Wagner perpetrating the crimes as charged. There is no evidence linking Mr. Wagner to these alleged crimes. There is no physical evidence that links him to any of the crime scenes.”
No Evidence?
Evidence includes recordings of 13 audio and video interviews,
3D scans from each scene, as well as diagrams showing ballistic, biological and other evidence at the scenes, more than 100 aerial photos; autopsy reports and X-rays, photos of a victim's child taken at the hospital, photos from a property searched by investigators, photo of burnt VCR, 21 photos from the search of the well, another seven photos of the recovered item with an 8-page ATF firearm report, information from Maglite which can be used in gun silencers, cell tower records; a photo of George Wagner's tattoo; a gun list; 1,475 crime scene photos, custody messages (1 excel sheet with 519 entries), 1 excel sheet from Big Bear Lake, electronic communications and wire searches, Boondock Saints video clip, Facebook screenshots; photos from other searches performed by investigators; Walmart surveillance photos and receipts, Jackson Days Inn trash pull, DNA and lab reports, ballistic reports, cell phone records, cell tower records, forged custody documents, the "Daily" report, shell casings found at the victim's homes and outside the Wagner's homes, shoe print expert's testimony, handwriting expert's testimony, witness statements, recordings from a confidential reliable source, photos and inventory from Flying Farms search, photos and inventory from Ford Excrusion search, photos and inventory and documents recovered from US 41 trailer searchs including a Black Ram 2500 search and a Gray Dodge Ram search. No alibi.

Looks like the defense laid out their case to the public and it's pretty weak. Good luck fellas.
Sounds like they're trying to go for the OJ Simpson defense, claiming evidence tampering. Sorry, but there haven't been any break-ins anywhere. Evidence wasn't stored in a trailer. All evidence has been stored off site.
The deal with Rita Newcomb was a "win" for the prosecution, saving a lot of time and expense.
AC resigning from state AG job and contracting to the PCPO means nothing.
And there is DNA evidence, along with security cam video, ballistic evidence, blood in personal autos, and all that digital evidence - phone conversations, purchasing of equipment, ammo, clothing, etc. Hacking of computers, social media and cell phones of the victims and their families and hundreds of digital messages and texts, voicemails, etc.

Angie Canepa will never allow it!
BTW, I have a question. Why isn't Pierson doing the prosecuting this month? Could be AC is the only one with any Bells..bolls...ya know what I mean....
OMG, Cool Cats! Have I told you lately that I love you?!!
Pierson should be there next week because he's still on the case and he comes to every hearing -- unless I missed something?Angie Canepa will never allow it!

Billy is going to lay the blame on his wife and son’s, JMODeWine was asked at the arrest press conference if there was any evidence at the crime scenes and he said "yes there was some evidence."
Don't know what evidence but when I re-listened to the press conference I was glad to hear him say that. So Billy's attorneys can "shake a stick" at that too but it - along with the other mountain ranges of evidence - won't go away no matter how many months pass by.

It will be interesting to see their demeanor in the next hearings. They surely see the writing on the wall by know, unless their attorneys are not telling them how it is...

Stated that 4 dozen law enforcement took part in the investigations, so does Billy Wagner and his attorney call all those police officers liars? JMO
