Like maybe connect them to other unsolved murders in the area and surrounding area. My opinion only

No doubt in my mind that ballistics/finger and foot prints/DNA etc.. from other murders (maybe even including Billy Harper and Violet Rhoden Taylor) have been compared to the Wagner ballistics/prints/DNA etc.. evidence collected.

Saying this might be a bit controversial but remember there are witnesses who heard both Angela and Jake making threats to kill someone and George threatened to bash in Schneider's face and they all threatened revenge on Scheiderer, Reader, DeWine and anyone else who went against them. It is possible they were talking about doing more than hurting them, we don't know.

Witnesses have said Billy was called "Bad Billy" and had a bad temper and this is just the tip of the iceberg, who knows how many other people may have heard the Wagner 4 threatening to kill people over the years?

Also, it can't be discounted that with mass killers there is usually an escalation of murder through the years, not just all at once. Seems they were awfully comfortable with specifically firearm murder to kill 8 people in 4 locations at close range.

While I can see the actual ones "responsible for the murders" of the 8 victims being held accountable via wrongful death lawsuits, I just don't see FW and RN civil suits going anywhere. Those 2 are not the murderer's. Did they do wrong? IMO... hell yes they did but nothing close to the W4. My opinion.

Here is a little info about it:

"Wrongful death claims are brought against a defendant who has caused someone's death, either through negligence or as a result of some intentional action. Wrongful death claims allow the estate and/or those close to a deceased person to file a lawsuit against the party who is legally liable for the death."

I do hope the Manley's or Gilley's are not left out of these filings, they too suffered great losses. My opinions.

They are probably named because of knowledge they may have had about the murders and failure to take action to prevent them. They may also be liable after the fact - of helping cover up, hide evidence, etc. Remember, the Rhoden, Manley and Gilley families went through a lot of grief and hardship after the murders. Some of them were subjected to suspicion and legal action from law enforcement, had to hire attorneys, lose time at work, etc. If FW or RN knew something that could have helped LE facilitate arrests of the actual perps, they could be liable for damages done by not going to LE.

Agree about Manleys and Gilleys. They have to file on their own, though. Perhaps they will contact an attorney after seeing that Tony has filed suit.

I remember Jake Wagner’s wife telling that she ran for her life from the Wagner family, also we still don’t know what remains to come out about certain Wagners rolls in the murders, even if someone took part in planning the murders is as much responsibilities as the trigger pullers, JMO
Didn’t AC quote that FWs computer had looked up lying to the grand jury punishment the night before she was to testify?

AG withdraws from Rhoden case, new details about Wagner-Rhoden relationship revealed

"The court filing also reveals that Billy Wagner’s mother, Fredericka, who had been previously charged with perjury, searched for penalties related to lying to the grand jury the night before she testified in 2018. Those charges were dismissed but prosecutors have said they may refile at a later date."

Yup, regardless of who pulled triggers they are all charged equally as
cold-blooded cowardly lying (from press conference) pre-meditated spying/stalking aggravated burglary murdering co-conspirators with the same 22 Counts. Jake has 23.

3 different guns were used in the murders so I think 3 of the Wagners did the shootings and one did not shoot but bought murder shoes from Walmart, printed out custody documents and forged Hanna's and Rita's signatures, got Jake and George to sign their kids over to her (not the mothers) if they died in a Rhoden shoot-out, researched on her laptop things for the murder kit, used her laptop to intercept Hanna's and her X daughter-in-law's mom's Facebook messages, orchestrated the lies to tell BCI but she didn't have time to get the Walmart shoe lie straight because BCI surprised the Wagners on the Montana Canada boarder, made sure everything was in order for the murders to take place that night including psyching everyone up by putting on the Boon Dock Saints movie along with other shows, helped get rid of the murder kit evidence and the stolen security cameras and phones, etc...

Also encouraging George to "support" his brother and "stand up" for his family - to get what is "owed" them - as she helped mastermind Jake's diabolical sick evil revenge-scorned-lover murder plan.

... 2 Cents ...

There is no MSM to substantiate the speculation that Billy Harper is connected to this case.

Please move on from that discussion or speculate in private messaging, but not here on the public thread.

Thanks.

So Sluthers, just as OJ was found innocent but still lost his money in the civil lawsuit can FW be held liable for the Rhodens/Gilley murders, and that Flying W Farm would have to go towards the children that lost their world for restitution????
Sounds only right IF, FW had any ideal that the Rhodens/Gilley was going to be murder that night of April the 21st/22nd 2016, she should have to forfeit everything, JMO
This is going to be a trial to see, if FW didn’t know before hand that the murders was going to happen, then knowing afterwards, would it be anything towards the 6 years that Pike County court system could re-file murder charges, FW and her attorneys will have their hands full, to keep FW from losing her Farm and for FW staying out of jail, JMO

I am so glad he is looking out for the little ones! God Bless him for trying to look out for them! This is wonderful!
I knew the wrongful death lawsuits were coming eventually. That's good they are beginning.

:rolleyes::rolleyes:o_Oo_O:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Jim Owen, representing Fredericka Wagner, said the lawsuit contained the same “totally bogus” accusations raised by the state in its failed bid to prosecute her.

"The allegations made by the state were demonstrated to be flat-out dead wrong,” Owen said. “That’s why they dismissed their case rather than go to trial.”

Yup! Note 2 of the Wagers are tired of it.

If I were innocent I would not have waived my speedy trial. Just saying.

No one could accuse me of murdering 8 people if I were really innocent...

Good point.

I think the prosecution has overwhelming evidence, in particular the wire tap evidence. Just as I can't wrap my mind around the murders, I can't understand how the Ws talked so freely about what they'd done. Had they never once watched a true crime show at all? It makes me wonder if they were so arrogant that they assumed they were untouchable in Pike County?

GoBuckeys,
I can’t back up what I’m going tell you because it was rumors around the time the Wagners started to be looked at by the LE, but there was a few posters saying that Angela watched every crime show she could, I believe that how the Wagners covered up a lot of their track’s, JMO
