PM me if you have Zelle
Zelle doesn't have my credit union. Someone told me they would use pay pal to pay part of it. Will check prices after trial and post them. At least want to get several witness testimony.

I am not asking for money. Just some people offer which is nice.

I will buy as many transcripts as I can and if people want to pitch in that is really helpful since I hear they can get expensive.

At least they got a halfway comfortable chair for the witnesses today. It's a desk chair with rollers so they can get closer the microphone.

MJ is cheaper than cigarettes.

I agree.

The only thing stated by one of the opted out deputies and reported in the Local 12 news articles (pictures on the news site posted up thread by Betty) was the MJ was in the second story of the garage, a box trailer from a semi truck beside the garage and an outbuilding, looks like maybe a 10X12 building painted black out behind the chicken houses for the game roosters. Nothing compared to grows in this state. Here they are buying up old schools and hospitals and turning them into MJ grows. 5 dispensaries in my small town alone. 1 on every corner in Tulsa and OKC.

MJ is 60.00 an ounce advertised all over my town, probably much cheaper in Tulsa or OKC. Even at the Native American smoke shops which do not have to pay state taxes on tobacco cigarettes are almost 80.00 a carton.

The price of cannabis varies tremendously depending on location, and whether recreational sales are legal or not. I personally have been tied to the cannabis industry for over 6 years via investments in particular corporations and know the industry well. Street prices are definitely cheaper than dispensaries, and in several recreationally legal states the pricing of cannabis has fallen greatly in the past two years. So much so, many legal growers have decided to get out of the business of supplying recreation states. The cost of cigarettes also vary greatly by state as the tax rate varies. In Ohio, cigarettes are definitely cheaper than cannabis. By a long shot.

Listening to Donald Stone. He said after he called 911, Brett Hatfield came on Kenny's property with a 4 wheeler.
Donald told him he'd better not take anything because it was a crime scene.

Police put DS in handcuffs and took him to police station.

Kenneth Grew MJ back in the field. Didn't have an indoor grow.
It's sad. Were the handcuffs really necessary in view he was a family member of the victim?????

Jmo I completely understand why local or family members do not want to be televised but do not understand why law enforcement do not want to be televised. Donald and Luke did very good on the stand today and came across very truthful.

I might try. Getting tired of staring at a book and a flag. Least they could do is put up the legend stars and double bars for us to look at. lol. Any good hotels in the area that takes pets? Any stairs to climb to get into the courtroom?
Also any airports close?

JMO

My suggestion would be the Quality Inn in Chillicothe. They do allow pets and they are overly clean and accessible to great restaurants. Also they are right on the main drag (Route 35 E/23 South will take you to Waverly *20 miles to Waverly.....go to 5th light, turn left and 1 block up *2nd St.* the courthouse is on left. No, there is no airport close (Columbus or Cincinnati)
Yes, there are stairs at courthouse.

I wonder how many people in that area were given immunity deals to talk. I am thinking quite a few.

And who was laundering the money?

If you want anything above a two star hotel you will have to stay in either Cincinnati or Columbus. I highly suggest that. There are some nice hotels near the Capital in Columbus and Cincinnati has a quite a few nice hotels. I suggest Cincinnati over Columbus based on my experience.

This is the longer version of the interview with Luke Rhoden. He said he suspected the Wagners because of something his dad told him before he died. He didn't share what it was as he didn't know if he could while the trial is going on.
Boy, I want to know what his dad said.

I will pitch in too! There are significant pieces of the puzzle missing.

Had no idea that Hatfield testified today.

This is the problem with 'opt out', gaping holes in coverage to the public.

TESTIMONY OF FAMILY FRIEND BRETT HATFIELD:

Brett said he knew there was a grow operation between Kenneth and Chris, and he said that there was a big drug deal going down “out west” that was supposed to happen but got canceled. The deal was with Billy Wagner and Chris Sr., who ran drugs together. According to Brett, it was for several hundred thousand dollars and involved pounds of marijuana. Billy and Chris started the trek out west in a truck but Chris got cold feet in Cincinnatti and bailed, Brett said. Chris called someone to pick him up and he assumes that Billy continued on, but did not know. Brett testified that after the murders, Billy said to people that a local man, Skid Montgomery was running drugs with Chris and Billy and that the two latter were cutting out Skid, so Skid had the Rhodens killed. The state said this was never found to be true.

Brett testified that Chris Sr., always had a lot of cash on him and that Brett saw Chris Sr. have $400,000 in a black bag on him at home one day. Another time, Brett said he knew Chris was into cockfighting and won $30,000 in a battle.

On cross, Brett said he saw cocaine in Chris Sr.’s safe and that it was likely for Gary Rhoden to use because Gary was a cocaine abuser, according to the testimony. Again, he was asked about the pot grow operation and he said that it would take 2-3 weeks for Chris to sell out of the pot he harvested every three months. Brett spoke of an unknown “business partner” Chris had in Cincinnati, but did not know the person’s name. The defense alluded it was a drug business partner.

People have asked what made the Wagner's think they could get away with it? Part of their planning was to make it look drug related. The Wagner's knew that the commercial grows would lead the investigation that way, and away from them. They probably all sat around and as todays testimony revealed came up with a story where "Billy said to people that a local man, Skid Montgomery was running drugs with Chris and Billy and that the two latter were cutting out Skid, so Skid had the Rhodens killed."

And without the confessions, it could be a viable defense. George is pushing the defense that he and his family came up with.

The relevancy of the marijuana is it created an opportunity for the Wagner's to float the drug theory, and believe they could get away with the crime(s).

imo...of course.
The brilliance of the prosecution is that they kept drugs (RICO) out of the primary murder charging case of the W4.

Let's not forget, after the murder trials, Billy can STILL be brought up on RICO charges. IMO, Billy is toast either way.

RASINISBACK is 100% correct in that the prosecution has the burden of tying GW4 in the planning, committing and the covering up of the murders. I believe they will and do so overwhelmingly.

For now the prosecution is laying the foundation of the murders, and who were the key players in the initial discovery of those murders. Also, the prsoecution is laying out the initial steps taken in the investigation.

They are building up to when, where, how and why thw Wagners committed the murders. It will be at this point 4 will be exposed by JW and AW and any other corroborating evidence not yet in the public.

GW4 and daddy have nothing to lose by going to trial. LWOP is LWOP whether it be a plea or conviction. I think the defense is besmearching the deceased in hopes of getting something less that LWOP. I wonder if he was offered any sort of plea deal less then LWOP.

MY comments concerning the price of MJ ws toungue in cheek. Ive never bought MJ and never will. To each their own! Istay in my lane and couldnt care less about MJ usage.

The defense and others should be ashamed for trying to make the murders of nursing moms about MJ. It wont play with the jury. Thats all i have to say on MJ.

Show your true colors if you must. General commment not meant for anyone.

All my opinion

I noticed he scanned the gallery too, first time I've seen him look that direction.

IMO, he was looking to see if anyone was there in support of him, ie: family.

Do you suspect there were any of G4's family in the Court Gallery today? That will speak volumes to me.

Has he had any supporters? If not, it must be a gut wrenching feeling, if he experiences any emotion.

Brett Hatfield, who was a friend of Kenneth Rhoden, was called to testify on Thursday.

He told the prosecution he and Kenneth would ride together to work so on the morning of April 22, 2016, he pulled into the driveway but did not see the house lights come on.

So, Hatfield said he left and went to work.

Around 8 a.m., Hatfield said he got a call that something happened up on Union Hill.

He tried calling everyone in the Rhoden family, but no one answered. He then said he sent a Facebook message to Hannah.

Facebook showed someone read the message, however, no response ever came through.

Luke R's interview after his testimony @ link too.

I so agree. I thought that was terrible and not necessary under the circumstances. God Bless DS for all the heartache in recalling that horrible day <3
