The price I gave was from the ranchers and LEO around here who say the cattle are stolen, taken to Mexico, traded to the cartels for drugs, then those drugs are brought back to the USA and sold on the street. They say about 20 to 25 head of prime Angus steers gets the cattle rustlers enough drugs to carry around a 100,00.00 street value in the USA.

But my knowledge is second hand from the ranchers and LEO around here and since I do not own cattle, trade cattle for drugs in Mexico or sell drugs on the street I will bow to your greater knowledge of how many cattle can be traded to drug cartels for a street value of 100,00.00 worth of fentanyl, heroin and cocaine.

Also I was just commenting about cattle rustling being an income for the W's after seeing that cattle hauler they left behind in pictures presented in court Friday. It could hold a lot of prime steers easily.

Will AW's and JW's testimony match each other I wonder? Or, will they give conflicting information about what happened night of murders? I imagine they have rehearsed their testimony over and over and are prepared for any and all questions the prosecution and defense will ask. So, probably no surprises.

Looking forward to RN's and FW's testimony for the possibility of new details. Perhaps this week?

Livestock

Was hauling other people's livestock. Not his cattle, not Fred's like I suspected, but cattle from small livestock owners who needed to get their cattle to the stock yards. He didn't have to own a livestock semi to do this, he could have used the livestock owners' semis.

The "boys" were also over the road truckers so perhaps it was a family affair with the Wagners convoying to the out of state stockyards.

I think she said she still had feelings for George. That seems fairly common for people to still "love" people, even though they don't deserve it.

I believed Tabitha. She testified in public and had to admit to a lot of things she would normally not talk about in public--sexual abuse when she was a child, a sexual relationship with a much older man (also in my view abuse, but MOO), and so on. She was dignified even when challenged on cross. The text messages between her and Hanna and her mother and Hanna bolster her claims about how Wagners handled custody, as does the calendars kept by Angela documenting any little thing Hanna did that could be brought up in court. But I think Jake and Angela will cover a lot of this ground, however reluctantly. Something made both of them believe that a deal was in their best interests. The ammunition and casings, the guns, the murder truck--all of that is still to come.

I purchase certified grass fed Angus direct from a farm here in Florida. The prices are higher than you quoted.

  • Whole beef cost $ 3.25 per pound of live weight
  • Processing cost $80.00 per animal
  • cut and wrap cost $ 0.85 per pound of hang weight

  • HALF BEEF
  • Whole beef cost $ 3.60 per pound of live weight
  • Processing cost $40.00 per half animal
  • cut and wrap cost $ 0.85 per pound of half hang weight.

As a single person I get way more meat than I could possibly eat in a year and that includes having my son come and take what he wants. Unfortunately he doesn't take near enough as he is not a big beef eater preferring Katahdin lamb instead (which I also purchase whole from the same farm). I purchased a deep freezer as a gift for a local food bank and made a deal with them to come over on the day the meat is picked up and they can take what they want as long as they unload my vehicle and load my freezer with what i want. We do this twice a year and it is a win win win. A win for me, a win for the food bank, and a win for the local farmer. I believe in buying local.

ETA: The beef is processed under the Florida Custom Exempt Law.
Animal sold directly to consumer and not meant for resale to other parties. I imagine it would cost more if it were for resale.
Florida is a bit pricier than Ky.

Jmo they won’t be able match according to Angela’s proffer per state she only knows up to the point they walked out the door that night and never spoke of it again. Now who really believes that???

Canepa said that Angie's testimony collaberates Jake's testimony. Of course the defense could try to screw this up and try to make both of them look like liars on the stand but I think the prosecution would then rehabilitate their testimony on redirect questioning.

We know the prosecution needs to prove the custody documents were forged so I expect to hear Rita Testify.

Fred could be a hostile prosecution witness. I think the prosecution is calling her. I expect her to opt out of being recorded but we can read tweets and articles and it will be extremely interesting to see what the prosecution asks her, and if the defense cross examines her.

Then we have Robin who also got a subpoena along with other Wagners. Should be interesting when we find out what the prosecution is trying to prove to the jury through the Wagners.

I don't doubt that, as y'all are in the beef belt and close to the border. Rustlers don't care what the price at sales are, they have an end goal that has nothing to do with beef on the table.

There was a picture of a cattle hauler presented as evidence in court on Friday also. That is what made me think of the cattle rustling, because it was said on the calendars that they made runs to Kansas. I live near the Kansas border and know the trouble ranchers have with their cattle being rustled and why they say it is getting much more prevalent in KS, OK and TX. I think some of the W income could have been from that but that is just my opinion.

Funny story about Mexico. Hubby and I were about halfway down in Mexico when we stopped at a hole in the wall restaurant. Hubby had his yapping dogs and he asked if he could bring them in. Mexicans not being as particular as Americans, said yes if the dogs were going to eat also. We ordered hamburgers and they brought them out to us. The dogs wouldn't touch them. Hubby took a bite and said "This meat tastes funny. It doesn't taste like hamburger meat." I looked at him and laughed and asked him "How many cows have you seen the last 500 miles since we crossed the Mexican border?" He threw his hamburger down, yanked up his dogs and went to the car. The answer was none. Saw a lot donkeys though. I laughed for another 500 miles until we got to our son and DIL's house near Guadalajara where they were doing missionary work.

I think all three women have kept a lot of secrets. They may rely on fancy finagling on witness stand to avoid implicating themselves. Not to mention family members they want to protect.

My guess, Jake's wife.

As for important papers missing from Billy, my guess, Mommy pays from her bank accounts. There is a Wagner Motion that lists many of FW's bank accounts.

She spent a lot ordering things for her kid's on line, gave Billy a trust account, paid for his attorneys apparently from the past, gave him FWF employment, let him leave Angela and live at FWF etc....
These bills/months were before they moved to Alaska. I don't believe he even met his wife until he moved there and went to the church? Anyone recall for sure?

I am just laughing at this grown man of nearly 50 having his mommy pay his bills.

ETA and I just saw someone else mentioned this before me. This is what happens when I miss and entire day and try to catch up! LOL

Right! AW is bound to say the men took off separately that night, went in different directions and as far as she knows, George was not with them. And she was in bed asleep when they got home so can't account for return times. IMO

I am wondering when Jake and Angela was offered the plea deal was it prosecutors presented to their attorneys and it was negotiated back and forth thru attorney prior to speaking face to face with Jake and Angela at first with the final story? Or did prosecutors present it to Jake or Angela with their attorney sitting there and prosecutors saying that is not enough you have to give us more.
I saw for Angela's plea, AC said that the details of Jake's proffer were not made known to anyone else before her confession. Then her story matched with Jake's. So I am not sure the specific or when/how it happens, but I noted that Angela and her attorneys did not have the details of Jakes proffer before she sat down with prosecutors and gave her version. That should help to at least verify her story and his.

Idk when he got his license for the company , or applied, but it was suspended on 10/25/2016 b/c of a previous Out of Service (OOS) penalty against them: New Entrant Revoked - Refusal of Audit/No Contact. G3 was not allowed to drive after that date, but it lists one driver, and one power unit (the cab). I've always wondered if the boys cashed in some sort of monetary gift/trust fund after graduating trucking school to purchase an older model cab.

Could the 5th one have been for TC? GW possibly asking her to go and hoping she would but it was never used? Just spitballing.

E: Fifth passport that is.

Sleuthers AC still has a Ace in the Hole, GW4 has Jake and Angela going to testify against him or they go back on death row, the ex-wife’s are telling what kind of husband he was also GW4 recording at the breakfast table meeting where George threaten to hurt BCI Agent, Charles Reader and Governor Mike DeWine, GW4 uncle is going to testify that he was with George when he bought the Glock pistol at a road stop, and GW4 grandmother still has to take the witness stand to tell what she knows about the murders, JMO
Don’t forget that Defense Attorneys Nash has already told a lie about the night of the murders, Remember during one of the pre-trials Nash said the only reason GW4 was at the murder scene was to keep Billy from killing Jake and now Nash said that GW4 wasn’t even there so let the jury here that!
