but it could be as he says a wish list, who knows BW could have owned all those guns and JW and GW made a list dividing up BW guns into a wish list of the guns they wanted, I could provide a myriad of explanations as to what GW may have meant by wish list, the state has to prove that GW was trying to mislead the investigation, and that it isn't a wish list as GW says
Jake could have made the list to divvy up what guns Billy owned so when that mouth of his got him pushing up daisy's there wouldn't be any argument over who got what gun.

Mathew White said that he was not given all of the guns found at Flying W...why not? If I was a juror who sat through all of this today I'd wonder why not?? I know nothing about guns, don't like guns although hubby has a safe and gun cabinet..lots of guns. My question to you all who have seen the list, listened to the ballistic testimony and seen the guns owned by the Ws...Can ammunition be interchangeable? Can ballistics from the bodies and the scenes come from guns not commonly known by the expert??? Say he says it came from X, could it also be fired from Y???? Will JWs testimony clear all of this up when he testifies? Will he tell what guns they used and what happened to them, all of them or is he expected/required to?? I am really confused and wonder if the jury is too?? IMHO.
idk

the elements of conspiracy are not that you lied but that you actively participated, GW can't be convicted just for being a liar, some evidence has to be provided that show he did something, and the state has to prove that he lied about the list, so JW has to testify that GW knew the list was on JW phone, that the list was an inventory of the families guns, that GW owned said guns, all of that has to come via JW

That may be true and they aren't finished. This was my take from today, YMMV. From what was reported today, there will be more testimony about the guns, the hidden ones and some recorded conversations.

We'll know when the state is finished. I don't like to get bored and slam them when they're not finished making their case on some critical evidence. No one wants to see a killer released to prey upon the public, right?

But Jake's phone was collected over a year after the murders. How do we know if some of the guns on the wish list were not bought after the murders or George's statement?

JMO

I would think there has to be time-stamp information on that picture.

JMO

How many of the guns on the list were bought new by the Wagners? Just like GW4 purchase easily tracked to the original purchaser. The date on the purchases would easily be tracked. Even traded for people who fool with guns know what happen to them.

Doesn't really matter why anyone made the list. What the evidence shows is that they once owned those guns, BCI collected most of them and the rest were found in parts, encased in concrete in buckets sunk in a pond on their mother/grandmother's property. The .22 found in parts matched the cartridges found at the crime scene and the cartridges on the Wagner farm on Peterson Rd.

In rural OH, and they're only 1.5 hours from Guntucky, I was thinking the opposite. Holy Cow, what would they think about ME?!
As someone who has never owned a gun I don't get the gun fascination. I understand they are necessary for those who hunt, and for protection for those who think they need it, but the collection of guns is beyond me. I guess some people collect crystal wine glasses and some collect guns.

Years ago I was sailing with someone who had some AR15s, with grenade attachments, on board for sailing in the Caribbean when pirates were a big issue. Nowadays most don't sail with them as most islands have really cracked down on guns coming into their territory.

Jmo but can anyone say appeal if a conviction is made!

Because he's the ballistics guy and, thanks to the Wagners buying "brass catchers" (tampering with evidence) cartridges weren't found for every weapon. He would have no need to look at a gun for which there were no cartridges to compare.

They should both plea out... obviously they were involved. I don't see any valid strategy except to confuse, deflect and hope 1 juror is out of their mind.

Save much money... but maybe that is what BW and GW are hoping. Lack of money.
I agree. And you know what is ironic? The two participants who stood to gain the most from the murders, were the first to strike a plea deal, leaving BW and GW4 hanging. If only BW and GW4 had the balls to say no to them. IMO.

The reflections I saw were on the one screen showing evidence. The screen was black and showed about 4 of them. Seems to be the one screen on the floor (didn't see the other one being used but bugged out early today.) The screen above the witness doesn't show anyone.
I will bow to your better eyesight since I am so old I can barely see what's in front of me. lol

Jmo opinion but if one lie or not about a list on someone else’s phone is the evidence they have well it tells me why not go to trial even if guilty. They spent weeks stating they share everything but now they want to separate according to a list a known killer made.

Jmo didn’t bci go in those ponds a few times? Didn’t they wonder why buckets were used as anchors.

If anyone knows... does the ruling for the media today mean Angela and Jake's testimony can be televised?

Come to think of it, I thought Wilson said "optic" on FW's receipt, but it may have actually been "object", because on redirect the witness talked about those identical white grips with the grim reaper on them, two pairs, being on the receipt with FW's name and address.
You were correct the first time.

When checking the Google Maps overhead photos of FWF, I noticed there are several ponds on the property. Assume on previous searches they did their best guesstimate of which pond held the murder weapon. I think the particular pond has to be specified in the SW. It wasn't until Jake confessed that they knew which pond it was. One way or the other, they got the evidence and that's all that matters.

For there to be “evidence beyond a reasonable doubt”, there must first be “evidence”. I am hoping they present some soon

Jmo
Jmo after all they have presented what is linked specifically to George?

Just to catch up, here's the text of Count 9 of George's indictment.Conspiracy includes providing false or misleading information to authorities about the crime. :

Yeah, what would they think if they broke open hubby's safes.

There are quite a few things he's done under the Conspiracy charges - purchasing items to build brass catchers, purchasing parts for the silencer, forging documents, including custody documents, providing false or misleading information to authorities.

JMO, they will successfully place GW4 inside the crime scene at Chris Sr's home and show that he helped Jake move the bodies of Chris Sr and Gary Rhoden. Recall, Billy had a broken back.

There are more, but this is enough so far.
