Such a strong young lady.

She lived with them, saw & heard it all; they were basically her captors and still she didn’t see. Hard pill to swallow from outside looking in but it (almost) helps me understand a little better how others close to them…AW’s mom, half brother CN, maybe BW’s brother & sister…how they could couldn’t see what was right under their noses & remain steadfast in their defense of W-4
Admitting to a mistake is the hardest thing to admit to. In their minds, they didn't want to see it then admit to being wrong.

She only lived with Jake/W's for 14 weeks. All of this happened in a matter of WEEKS!
I think she was lucky to get away with her life. I think what may have saved her was the fact that the Wagners were already under investigation. If she had an unfortunate accident, the Wagners knew they would be immediate suspects. moo

Another survivor of the Wagner's, IMO
Another female preyed upon.
And no doubt the defense attorney will be in her face this afternoon.

I noticed when Chris N was mentioned Nash's face reacted and my thought was the defense will want him to testify for them

They could let her move to a friend's house and then arrange a suicide. Or a tragic accident of some sort. They were arrogant enough to think if she weren't at their home, they might get away with it.

Also, what happened with this woman shows how FAST they escalated to threats and violence. when they weren't dealing with an actual teenager who had a baby with a Wagner. 14 weeks!

What was GW4 doing at 4:00 in the morning?
I recall maybe it was Chris N saying George liked to drive around. Don't hold me to that just wanted to see if anyone else recalled that comment. I believe he said they would ride around together. It might have been during defenses cross when asked if George ever did anything apart from the family. Now what exactly he was doing who knows.

It was mentioned he was having nightmares so maybe he couldn't sleep. Or prostitutes  All JMO of possibilities.

OMG! She had to sneak out of Walmart? That poor girl! Ole Rita was involved more than I imagined!

Yes, and sadly there was a grown woman among the Wagners who was a predator herself. The Wagners selected vulnerable and already damaged young women. Hadn't all their victims already been preyed upon at a young age?

Her testimony seems to me to be overly coached. I want to see how she handles cross examination.
I couldn't agree less. I think she's intelligent, very articulate and answering what's asked in her own way and words. Hindsight is a powerful tool to have under your belt. She lived all of what she's describing, she doesn't need coaching to bring it all to the surface. AJMO

She should have ran like the wind at the first inkling they were involved in the murders. They made it obvious they were capable of killing.

I always felt she was. It seems CN was also present for some of the discussion about revenge harming and jail breaks. Not the complete good ole boy he portrayed on the stand. AJMO

Even thought Beth was older than Tabatha and Hannah at the time they met and the grooming (my opinion of what happened to them) started, she was young in years as far as life experiences go. I would say somewhat sheltered and naïve is a good word. If she truly trusted her pastor and he vouched for the W's I can see how easy it would be to dismiss things. She did not life with them until after they were married. Then it seems the reason for getting married was because they were moving back to Ohio so it was rushed up in time because of that. If there was no move, I don't think she would have ever married Jake. She would have seen signs I am sure if they dated for say 2 years then got married. But because it was rushed, she married him and moved with him and then was hit very quickly with the reality of the situation.

All I can think is I am thankful she didn't get pregnant in that 4 months time.

Prostitution reference by the witness isn't surprising in my opinion. I feel they targeted females who had been broken for their sick kicks. It will be interesting to see if this is discussed in more detail later. It would be interesting to learn about possible Wagner involvement in prostitution over the years, but I suspect it may be outside the scope of this trial. Wait and see.....

I have total confidence in her ability to handle him. She's tough IMO. I really admire her strength.

This family really thought they truly was religious, and like the Boondocks Saint’s they thought that they killed the Rhoden/Giley family in the name of religion/custody, (Crazy) and was scared of cemetery (Why) surely they didn’t believe in the walking dead show?

Perhaps the defense will be gentle with her.

No wonder JW and AW took plea deals, all the testimony we hear day after day is just a litany of horrors relating to them, their defense teams did a good job in persuading them to take the deals as there is nothing a defense attorney could do to redeem them

Yes!

Her pausing to me seems like genuine attempts to control her emotions, to think about each specific incident and answer truthfully. Trauma can cause things to be fuzzy. I think emotions can be heightened, but specifics can become blurred. So maybe she needs to think on each conversation who was present what was said, etc. Because if she misspeaks we know the defense will make a massive mountain out of a mole hill.

AW actually accused this gentle soul EA of intentionally poisoning the children's food!? What in the world!?

Edit to include: If I'd waited I would have heard she also accused her of inappropriately touching S and GW wanted her of of the house!?
