Admitting to a mistake is the hardest thing to admit to. In their minds, they didn't want to see it then admit to being wrong. She lived with them, saw & heard it all; they were basically her captors and still she didn’t see. Hard pill to swallow from outside looking in but it (almost) helps me understand a little better how others close to them…AW’s mom, half brother CN, maybe BW’s brother & sister…how they could couldn’t see what was right under their noses & remain steadfast in their defense of W-4
I think she was lucky to get away with her life. I think what may have saved her was the fact that the Wagners were already under investigation. If she had an unfortunate accident, the Wagners knew they would be immediate suspects. mooShe only lived with Jake/W's for 14 weeks. All of this happened in a matter of WEEKS!
And no doubt the defense attorney will be in her face this afternoon.Another survivor of the Wagner's, IMO
Another female preyed upon.
I noticed when Chris N was mentioned Nash's face reacted and my thought was the defense will want him to testify for themShe lived with them, saw & heard it all; they were basically her captors and still she didn’t see. They could let her move to a friend's house and then arrange a suicide. Or a tragic accident of some sort. They were arrogant enough to think if she weren't at their home, they might get away with it.I think she was lucky to get away with her life. I recall maybe it was Chris N saying George liked to drive around. Don't hold me to that just wanted to see if anyone else recalled that comment. I believe he said they would ride around together. It might have been during defenses cross when asked if George ever did anything apart from the family. Now what exactly he was doing who knows. What was GW4 doing at 4:00 in the morning?
Yes, and sadly there was a grown woman among the Wagners who was a predator herself. The Wagners selected vulnerable and already damaged young women. Hadn't all their victims already been preyed upon at a young age?Another survivor of the Wagner's, IMO

I couldn't agree less. I think she's intelligent, very articulate and answering what's asked in her own way and words. Hindsight is a powerful tool to have under your belt. She lived all of what she's describing, she doesn't need coaching to bring it all to the surface. AJMOHer testimony seems to me to be overly coached. I want to see how she handles cross examination.
I always felt she was. It seems CN was also present for some of the discussion about revenge harming and jail breaks. Not the complete good ole boy he portrayed on the stand. AJMOOMG! She had to sneak out of Walmart? That poor girl! Ole Rita was involved more than I imagined!
Prostitution reference by the witness isn't surprising in my opinion. I feel they targeted females who had been broken for their sick kicks. It will be interesting to see if this is discussed in more detail later. It would be interesting to learn about possible Wagner involvement in prostitution over the years, but I suspect it may be outside the scope of this trial. Wait and see.....I recall maybe it was Chris N saying George liked to drive around. Don't hold me to that just wanted to see if anyone else recalled that comment. It was mentioned he was having nightmares so maybe he couldn't sleep. Or prostitutesAll JMO of possibilities.
I have total confidence in her ability to handle him. She's tough IMO. I really admire her strength. And no doubt the defense attorney will be in her face this afternoon.
Perhaps the defense will be gentle with her.Her testimony seems to me to be overly coached. I want to see how she handles cross examination.
