The three Wagners would confront her about different things as well. One time it was a personal diary. She would write to her dead grandfather.

Now taking the morning 15 minute break and I'll be starting a new thread. For those of you who have asked, I will start experimenting and trying to unroll these tweets as well this weekend.

Next entry - she writes she hates "Ms. Angela" - controls the money. And she has more control over me than I do. Has fingers in her husband's pocketbook.

Armer writes that she has the power - she could say that Angela did it (murders) and get the kids away from her - but that it wouldn't be true. Writes Angela insinuates and accuses her of poisoning her.

Also wrote that Angela sees her as a replica of Tabby (Tabitha - George's ex-wife).

Armer: Angela Jake and George would say crazy things about Tabitha, then Angela started saying the same things about her. Never poisoned anyone. Never touched Sophia inappropriately.

Now explaining her comment about finances and "fingers in his pocketbook" - saying everyone would help others in family to pay off their debts.

Armer: Angela would hold it over Jake and George like a club about how she took care of the children etc.

Armer wrote "She controls me more than I control myself because she controls my husband through his child" Angela would make statements about how Sophie felt and that was why Jake and Beth couldn't move out or visit her family etc.

Armer: Angela also disliked and ridiculed books, would try to stop her from reading or reading to the kids.

Armer hoped to become like a mother to Sophia. But that Angela would say she would make sure that Sophia would never see Beth as her momma.

When she said that it wasn't true about murders, it was early on when they returned to Ohio and Armer still believed family when they said they were not involved

Angela also wanted Beth within her sight lines. When Jake and George away - Angela would leave her alone except to know where she was all the time.

Jake would also follow her on her walks to a cemetary and a park. Also asked if she and Jake had sex - and their own.

Jake and George also discussed going to see prostitutes in the past.

Confronted about diary. Family told her (Jake George Angela maybe Rita) it was dangerous because police or media could get it. Asked her to burn it and flush it down to the toilet and made sure she did.

She lived with them, saw & heard it all; they were basically her captors and still she didn’t see. Hard pill to swallow from outside looking in but it (almost) helps me understand a little better how others close to them…AW’s mom, half brother CN, maybe BW’s brother & sister…how they could couldn’t see what was right under their noses & remain steadfast in their defense of W-4

I think people want to believe the good and even when faced with some facts or evidence that could be one thing, we (general we) want to believe the best possible thing. Maybe a survival mechanism or something, but I think some people are more susceptible to this.

Yes, exactly. I don’t know how many times I’ve thought some of W’s surely must have been aware, they MUST have been covering for W-4. This testimony is a real eye opener for me.

I'm coming late today so a bit behind everyone. My main take away from EA's testimony so far was how truly naive she was, not stupid, naive. Her inexperience with much of life and kind nature made her such a target for subjugation. I feel sorry for her and I'm only at when they first moved back to Ohio from the Missouri hotel room.

She lived through a nightmare. I agree, Pru, she's lucky she got out of there alive. The "friend" call infuriates me, with his statement that she is being overly emotional and needs to calm down! I hope this pastor doesn't do counseling. Because that's a normal reaction to having your murder described to you in vivid detail.

That's a fundamentalist's typical response. Believe the man, minimize the female.
