All of this is pertinent to the conspiracy, that the family operates as a unit (even a dysfunctional one) and the there were bizarre and cultish rules determining what peoples' roles could be. It also serves to illuminate the likely bogus nature of ay sex abuse allegations against any of the Rhodens, giving Angela's paranoia. And--AND--it allows the jury to see how the sex abuse discussions might have played out with Hanna so that Hanna's comment about waiting and seeing doesn't mean hanging out until her daughter is abused but rather waiting until such a suspicion is actually warranted (and not a paranoid Angela fantasy that is largely about not letting others (male or female) near her grandchildren. The level of control of the grandkids was terribly abusive.

I think Billy was just checked out at this point. They are back in Ohio and he's back at FWF with his mommy. He didn't talk on phones and knew how to not get caught. So I think either they have nothing or they are not using it until his trial.
