Wilson is asking Priest to explain auditory exclusion and tunnel vision. Also questions about witness recall in traumatic experiences.

Trying to sow doubt in JWs testimony. I have also wondered about the lack of shoe prints at scene 1.

Does anyone think shoe prints could've been made intentionally?

Didn't they buy those shoes in the same pattern/style as LM wore?

And how does a print get outside CRjr's room without making prints in the rest of the house? Dabbed and made on the spot?

Prosecutor Andrew Wilson (aka Clark Kent) beginning to cross examine defense's expert witness, Mr Priest. Looking forward to this!!!!
Wilson will tear this witness and his weak assumptions apart. Can’t wait !

The purpose of the shoes was to not have to worry about prints left behind.

Hey... I don't buy their shoes and even if I did they are the wrong sizes for my 'boys'. Plus... even if I really did buy them I wouldn't dare keep the receipts. Uh oh

Good Morning!
As we are hopefully inching towards an end to this trial I have a few thoughts. It has been a wild ride and I respect many of you immensely who have been posing from day one. This is all IMO.

George was definitely there. Jake put him there, Angela put him there. 3 guns IMO put him there. I believe Jake lied when he said he took the gun from George to minimize George's part in the murders. After listening to the wiretaps yesterday, I believe George had no problem pulling the trigger taking at the very least, the shot that took off CRsr arm. Listen to the hatred he spews about poor BA, I believe he was just as vocal about HR if not worse because she wasn't bending to the Wagners demands over custody. I wonder if Jake was even present for the entire scene at CRsrs, and also question where the rest of the shots came from there.

I think George shot Kenny and was proud of himself for a little while, boasting the Lone Wolf pic on his FB. Great shot George... right to the eye. All by yourself, You're a Big Boy!

When LEO put on the heat, George lost his crap. He was paranoid. It may have even amplified his already aggressive, pugnacious, demeanor. This is the family BA knew, the family after the "Laser Focus".

I believe Smiley was Sheiderer. Statements he made in court lead me to believe this. Smiley made posts about inside info, searches that both happened and did not happen. He created many seperate threads to keep the conversation on track best he could. And of course, he is sitting in court every day as Smiley said he would be.

I have so many thoughts, and opinions, and gut feelings after 6 years of following closely. George is Guilty of all charges. I wonder if DA has decided if Jake held up his end of the bargain, because all the puzzle pieces did not add up in his testimony IMO he lied about George's involvement on the night of the murders.

Praying justice is served for the R and G families.
I think you may be right about GW being more involved, it makes more sense but in the end GW will be convicted just for planning, being there and the cover up. After 6 yrs I'm glad to have some answers and can follow along with the story that has been presented. But again, in the end, the minutiae of who shot who and with what to me is lost when 8 innocent people were assassinated and will be missed every day by their families. I'm could live with LWOP for all of them and could only hope that AW sentence could be increased and included in that.

Would really like to know what happened to AW to become this way. Was it the SA to her? Or, did was it something else? Really wonder what it was like in her parents house growing up. Seems lying, stealing, etc was the norm in the household, and also in Billy's side of the family. Generational. As I've said before; they all worked hard to not work.
I still feel so badly for both Tab and BA, they never had a chance back then. Both vulnerable.

JMO
I think manipulators learn what tricks work to get their way. They are so good at grooming people, picking up on small things that they can use to get an advantage on people. I'd say if she was SA in the military and nothing was done, weather she didn't report it or she did and nothing happened, that likely created some anger or some type of feelings in her (maybe why she was telling her son sex was only for making babies). Then as she had kids she just wanted to keep them close, maybe the criminal activity caused some of that because they didn't want anyone to know and the more outside people that are around, the more chances of someone finding out. I'd say they tried to manipulate the pastor early on and it worked. He sent his son over to stay the night and they were teaching their sons how to pick locks and commit crimes while going undetected and "hiding in plain sight".. what better way than to make buddies with the pastor and get involved in the church.

I just see this building up over the years and the more crimes they committed, the more cult like they got, the more controlling Angela got to keep that family unit the way it always was. I'd say maybe there is actual mental illness too of some sort (beyond just anxiety/depression).

There's the aerial photo. Disregarding the light colored vehicle which I think could belong to BJM (it wouldn't be there), there's room to back a truck inline with the front door, and the mower.

altho i hate the defense attorneys and wagners im looking forward to vance and skids testimony. seems vance and chris had a good relationship going back years. i think this witness will backfire on the defense and end up being a character witness for crsr. even as they attempt to smear his memory its obvious to me he was a special generous motivated honest hardworking patriarch. seemed to support and assist many family members and friends, even those who did not deserve it like g3.

Wilson cross examining defense witness about firearm used to shoot Chris Sr.
Wilson firing fast questions. Witness is holding up well and appears confident in his answers. Hoping Wilson asks some gotcha questions.

Defense witness: Jon Priest continued...

James Pilcher
@jamespilcher
Back with defense specialist Priest - Andy Wilson doing cross for prosecution

Going over his teaching about critical incidents and officer involved shootings. Asking about "auditory exclusion" - not paying attention to what the ears are hearing in a stressful/combat situation

You can't percieve it or remember it even if your ears heard it.

Unreliable to rely on someone involved in shooting to remember how many shots fired ... especially with more shots fired.

Also going over time distortion and tunnel vision ... and how stressful shooting situation may extort what you see and record - and how time speeds up and slows down in stressful situation

Going over projectory analysis as well as FARO scanners

Going over first one from Chris Sr house

Chris1.jpg Chris2.jpg

He agreed that rifle shots that shot Chris Sr came from outside and low to the ground on bare patch from front of house

Chris3.jpg

He's now looking at pictures of Chris Sr.'s shot arm ... not showing it on screen. @local12
Showing photos to jury again not on screen. Priest agreed it was a high powered rifle "egregious injury"

Expert's voice was a bit shaky when he described CR's arm injury. He seems shaken to look at it.

@Niner, many thanks for posting tweet-reporting.

The wood in CR's face came from the wood that was stacked on the porch. May be stacked on a table there.

The one board is gouged straight across the plane of the board. Like you tried to cut it with a dull hatchet.

Edit: Hmm, sounds like the SKS could've shot into it's silencer. Then maybe couldn't be used again. After all those shots maybe the end was blown apart on the oil filter.

Editededit: I just realized, the expert is the school principal on the Simpsons. "Now Bart!"

Cause he pretty well knows his client was responsible if not fired that very shot.

I thought wood was from door or door frame.

Yeah conveniently sandwiched between G4's psycho conversations yesterday and those we'll hear today.

I thought wood was from door or door frame.

Expert just agreed that the wood stippling on CR's face came from Ballistic Event XXX, the same shot that plowed the board. (that's how I heard it could be wrong)

Right now they are discussing the door frame. .... edit coming

Edit: I think he's saying the shot through the door frame hit CR's arm. Which makes sense, bullet deforms when it hits the door frame, a deformed bullet causes more damage. The height matches arm height.

And it's good that the jury hears again how CR was ambushed. Imo.
