Well maybe he only heard mother frickers and didn't consider that a curse word. LOL
My ex was MF this, MF that, any curse word you can think of, they said it, (in normal convo), yet, when they were around my very, very, saintly grandmama, may she r.i.p., they cut. it. off. That woman thought not a bad word had ever come from their mouth.

man....Angela just showed the pic she had in her hand of one of them deceased, by accident id imagine. not sure which one it was. Parker flashed one or two of the more gruesome pics, as he calls them, that he gave to the judge
Lots of photos visible when they are handing them over and sorting them.

What are you watching on? Maybe yours is better than L &C. I usually don't watch them, but we rarely see anything much. Still wearing Wally glasses. Can't see the side of a barn.

Not sure if they realize that the camera is still there or not and sometimes they are just focusing on George, but a lot of the pictures have been shown quickly or like one, not sure who it was, but it was someone deceased on the autopsy table that Angela had in her hand and it was easily visible to the camera

I can't imagine how people just carry on like normal after viewing all these photos. I guess they put this area of their lives in a "box" so they can't just go on.

Then I think of the family members that walked in to these houses and saw this without any warning. They weren't first responders knowing they are showing up to a murder scene, but instead they were living their lives going about a normal day and then they encounter what they saw. :(

Id imagine the lawyers, judge, prosecutor, etc, are all used to seeing stuff like this. now the jury, I would not want to be in there and have to look at them during deliberation

I'm watching L & C and it's not that they are up on a screen or anything, but the photos are in their hands and when they are sorting them or handing them over sometimes the photo is faced up or toward the camera so it is visible briefly.

Defense wants to exclude the pictures of the bloody infant found between Frankie Rhoden and Hannah Gilley. He was unharmed. Those are admitted.

WAVERLY, Ohio — Court began Tuesday morning with a hearing during which the prosecution and defense will argue which evidentiary items presented in the prosecution's case will be entered into evidence for the jury.

The hearing is a typical procedure held after the prosecution rests its case — which happened Thursday, before court adjourned for a long weekend.

This is probably the same way Parker defended Anthony Sowell, the Cleveland serial killer. He started out by saying there was no DNA, fingerprint or other evidence showing that Sowell killed the 11 women.

Parker used the same MO of delaying the trial as long as possible, in this case from Oct. 29, 2009 to June 6, 2011.

Sowell pleaded not guilty. The jury found him guilty and he received the DP

When Sowell appealed his verdict and sentence, his new appeals attorneys said Sowell had received poor representation from his first attorney (Parker) because Parker should have told him to plead guilty, then try to reduce his sentence to LWOP.

Interesting how different DP attorneys approach these kind of cases.

That appeal was denied. ALL of his appeals were denied.

There was a LOT wrong with that case and it lay at the LEO's and Prosecution's feet.

The case shocked the city and garnered international attention. But the public was equally shocked when subsequent reporting uncovered numerous failures by Cleveland detectives to catch Sowell, a suspect in multiple attacks of women who survived. Despite Sowell being a registered sex offender who spent 15 years in prison for raping and choking a woman in 1989, detectives and city prosecutors did not arrest him or file charges because they either did not take the victims seriously or had difficulties tracking them down. In one case, they waited 37 days before trying to track Sowell down to question him. - see; City Mishandled Sex Crimes

As abhorrent as his actions were, he still gets an attorney. He rec'd fair representation. Just as G4 is receiving fair representation, by the same attorney. If his appeals did not go through, Parker did a good job. jm2.

Just to add to the confusion; o_O At least mine, anyway.

There was a size 11, and based on a toe impression, a 10.5, shoe size left at CR1's. They found one size 11 print at DR's.

She was on her phone, well, on FB, according to JW Was she using her phone for FB? (Did he finish her post for her? View attachment 379958)

  • The brothers and their fathers then went to Dana Manley-Rhoden’s house. The door was unlocked, and they all went inside.

  • He said George and Billy were both inside that house, and that George had his .40-caliber Glock pistol out and even had it in Jake’s face as he came out of a bedroom. Jake Testifies at bro's trial
I thought G4 was said to have used an SKS. His own iirc. What did Big Daddy Billy have?
-------------------------------------
From link below: Jake indicated that he wore the size 10 and a half that night and that george wore the size 11 that night
um and you will see that that size 11 that i told you that was in scene 3 at dana's place is almost exactly where he
says that george was stationed to make sure that little chris didn't come out of his room. Jake's Proffer in Opening Statements

There is a high probability to link donor DNA to the shoe sole for up to 300-400 steps, regardless of the underground, blood location, and amount of blood. (that's .14 to .19 miles for an average 6' male) A lot of driving was done so there should have been some blood traces picked up by luminol, at DR's, if they were the same bloody shoeprints at CR1's, or so it seems, although I'm not a professional in that area by any means. Persistence of blood (DNA/RNA) on shoe soles under varying casework related conditions
JW says his father was standing right beside GW4, while JW was murdering all three people at DR's. They were concerned about the 16 y/o coming out and killing them? Nooo, I have never bought that.I'd have been more concerned about DR pulling something out of her bedside drawer, and firing when she saw JW (through her closed, oops, opened, uhm, closed, bedroom door ).

Out of curiosity, has anyone found a link, as to what size of shoe that G3 wears? I may be looking over his shoe info. TIA!

Wow, food for thought! Thank you, Youre just in time with this, my coffee is ready and I'm due a good read.

Re: possibly getting DNA from the print at Danas, I do wonder though with the large gap in time if they were looking for cameras or trying to get into the safe. Something was going on from 11pm until they were in Dana's killing them at what I think was after 1 maybe closer to 2. They went to Frankies and back, which was a little walk through what seems to be grass and/or driveway area.

Back in Waverly, OH.. Attorneys in #GeorgeWagnerIV's murder trial have spent the past day-and-a-half discussing the State of Ohio's evidence. Prosecutor Andgela Canepa just told Judge Randy Deering it could take a "day more" to get through all the exhibits.. 1/2

2/2 .. prosecutors want to enter into evidence. The amount of the time the process has taken reflects the complexity of the case..

Witness testimony is about to resume in the first #PikeCountyMassacre case to go to trial. Defense attorneys are expected to call their 8th witness. It appears the next witness has declined to let his testimony be shared outside the courtroom. I'll be taking notes.

After about 45 minutes of testimony, the 43rd day of #GeorgeWagner's trial is coming to a close. Jurors are being told to be back at the courthouse in Waverly, OH, tomorrow at 9 a.m.

Two witnesses testified for the defense this afternoon: Bernie Brown and Alex Staley. Mr. Brown lives in Peebles and let the Wagners store personal belongings on the his property when they moved to Alaska about a year after the #PikeCountyMassacre.

Mr. Brown talked about George being a trustworthy and reliable worker - who helped Mr. Brown work on trucks used to haul livestock.

After Bernie Brown testified, jurors heard from Alex Staley. Mr. Staley met George Wagner through his wife. He said George was close to murder victim Frankie Rhoden. He said George "teared up" when discussing the #PikeCountyMassacre during a fishing trip 2 weeks later.

Teared up because he knew he was guilty of being a part of the killings. Teared up because he knew how much these people were going to be disappointed in him. Forever and ever.

In Pike County, attorneys are going through the photos and evidence they want to enter as evidence officially and which ones the defense wants to omit. Once this part is done, the defense will begin its case.

The defense first wants to throw out a picture of a knife found behind Frankie Rhoden's home. Judge sustains the defense's objection to that. So, it will be thrown out.

Defense wants to throw out a pictures of random sledge hammer and dogs, arguing it has nothing to do with the case. Prosecution said it's proof that investigators documented the crime scene. Judge rules in favor of the defense on most but leaves a panoramic pic of the yard.

Defense says interior shots of Frankie's messy home are irrelevant. Prosecution said they point to the motive of child safety and show why Hanna May moved out to better conditions with her mom. Judge throws out some of them and keeps some of them.

George Wagner IV faces possible death penalty if convicted of helping his family kill eight members of the Rhoden family in 2016. His attorneys expect to begin their case as soon as the evidence is officially entered this morning.

Attorneys are debating timing and whether they will even get to defense witnesses today.

Defense is calling witnesses now. I know at least one opted out of being recorded. So, I am going inside to take notes.

Jurors just heard from Bernard "Bernie" Brown. He opted to not let us record him so I have notes on his testimony.

He said he allowed the Wagners to store their belongings on his property after they sold their property. They were transitioning to Alaska. He worked with the Wagner men before. They would help him haul livestock out West.

Brown said, "All the time that I knew them, I never so much as heard a cuss word out of any of them." He said George IV and Jake would spend days at at time with him on the road.

He said George and Jake helped him when he was diagnosed with cancer by servicing his trucks and hauling cattle. He said George was never aggressive or hostile. He said, "I would be glad to have him back.”

Now, Alex Staley is on the stand. He met George IV through his wife. His wife, Samantha testified Oct. 3 that she grew up with the Wagner sons.

While fishing, he said the topic of the murders came up. He told jurors George brought up Frankie Rhoden. George appeared to tear up and get really sad about it. The conversation stopped not long after George started to cry.

That's it from Staley

Now, back to the formal evidence objections and submissions before state rests. Jurors dismissed for the day.

After the murders, Angela said she noticed her sons didn't act like themselves; Jake was distractable and unfocused and George wasn't sleeping because he was having nightmares, she said. She approached her husband with concerns.

"I was feeling bad, I was worried about them," she said. "I told him I don't think we should have involved them in the homicides, the planning, any of it."

It's a regret she still carries, she said, "because they're my sons" and she should have protected them.

Yep, IMO, someone was feeling guilty?

That's my normal site to watch on. Idr want to see the gore, just kinda shocked they're being seen, after such an uproar, about audio, and zero visuals with even a hint of blood, in the beginning.
