Says Jake went to UHR to try to get in to see what happened.
Billy stuck around the house for a few days. He and Angie argued, so he left.
GW4 went back to work. Life back to normal. No one told him about the murders.

Oh, please.
He just insulted our intelligence! He thinks we would believe him! SMH!

He was asked by BCI to spy on his brother? Is he telling jury he is a secret agent?
Looks like he didn't follow through other than asking Jake if he was involved. (Jake told him, no.) He became a suspect rather than a witness at this point. After that George is participating in the cover up?? Wonder when he knew his family was guilty. When Jake confessed, same as Chris N??? Reserving judgement until after cross.

I wanted Parker to ask him why he dyed his hair?!

Bring out the silver platter so GW4 can hand AC his conviction upon it.

Well this is the story his defense team wants us to believe. Too much evidence shows he was involved with the murders. The stories just don't match either other testimony or the evidence.

only I could have missed the second-best day of trial, best day will be cross, I hope Wilson does cross not Canepa

Betty, respectfully, what evidence is that? This is "he said, she said." Who will be more believable?

How do we know it is poaching?

moo

Mainly because of the lack of any legal deer hunting gun in his inventory, his admissions to spotlighting, baiting, and his testimony this morning described hunting two hours before daylight and two hours after sunset. Besides having a dog with him.

Edit: He did just now state he had a .45-70, which today is legal to use in Ohio, but was not at the time they crossed the border.

I actually felt bad for George. I thought maybe he went along to protect Jake. I thought maybe he got roped into this and couldn't see a way out. I thought maybe he didn't know the full evil that was going to happen that night and he was along to rob Chris Sr or some other less evil reason other than he willingly went along to slaughter 8 people.

He can get on the stand and lie over and over again AND ridicule everyone else about all the ways they are wrong. Then he had the nerve to talk about Chris Sr, Hannah, Frankie as if he loved them. If he loved them he would own up to what he did.

I think he should get the DP. I don't care if he didn't fire his gun. I think sitting there claiming to be like a brother to Hannah and talking like Chris Sr was a father figure AND then lying about what you did to them. ZERO sympathy any more. I dont care how messed up you grew up, if you realized it was messed up and you wanted away from that, then you make it right and be a man. Tell what you did and how you were involved and serve your time.

Delusional: No BCI didn't ask you to spy on bro. lol, imo

From the little bit I have caught up on the defense is doing a clever direct, they are going nowhere near the murders, the crime scenes, the planning, the state can only cross on what was revealed on direct, so in theory the judge should rule on all the defense objections to the state going into areas that were not touched upon in direct

in theory it should mean GW can't be asked to explain anything about the murders because he is not asked on direct, we shall see, sometimes differing states have different rules, but in many trials, I have watched the defense can only ask questions that relate to what the state elicited on direct, and the state can only get into what was discussed on defense direct

it may be different because of this being a conspiracy we shall see,

Life has got in the way, and I will not be able to watch live trials till Friday, so I hope he is still on stand then, and thanks for all the posts so I can at least have some good bedtime reading

So after listening to Jake's proffer, he wasn't mad that his brother wrongly implicated him?

Wow, I can't believe I'm watching this

He is lying through his teeth

Well rehearsed. The cross should be interesting. Is there an opening for the state to ask the questions they need to ask of GW4.
