Thank you, buttonbaby!I'm not sure about FB, but here is an excellent article about her and her son. She seems like a very loving woman.

It’s almost as if the 4 were afraid of being separated. Maybe AW preferred everyone together 24/7 so no one had a slip of the tongue.
Guess they never entertained the possibility of incarceration consisting of separate institutions.

Who knows. I think someone was afraid of going to jail, that's why they planned it so meticulously. But somehow they were convinced that they could outsmart police, no one would ever be able to prove it.
It's seems to me a pretty desperate delusion, considering none of them had ever been successful at anything.
ETA: as some have mentioned, maybe there had been past criminal success. But no mention of that possibility from LE.
What if the confidential source was a phone wiretap?
- "Hi, what's going on? Where are you? Cops are at your place?" - "if we are arrested,...."
Who was the most vocal again? G4? something to think about...

Oh you mean like letting the statute for timely trial expire or "failing to convene a grand jury for their 2009 crimes????"...Yep, that's the ticket, and this ain't their first rodeo. IMOBBM
LE may not know, and they'd not tell them. I'm not necessarily talking another murder. They got caught doing something at RedWing. How long did it go on? They got out of it, IIRC. You have spans of years when they have no record of illegal activities (stealing, recvg stolen goods), then out of nowhere, it appears they did it again and got caught. It makes them look like they are stupid and got caught every time. I don't think they just did it again and got caught, I think they'd been doing it and slipped up. If you catch a thief, most likely you didn't catch him on his first go round.
I have to mention JW's hair, has it been discussed? It's not a trivial thing, even with being in jail he hasn't had it cut, he must be very attached to it. It makes him look very different from every other male involved in the case, especially his father and brother. I can't figure it out, whether it's about his relationship to his mother, or being an individualist, or trying to look like Jesus.Question:
Of the 4, who do you think will flip first?
I think Jake. Was he persuaded or otherwise ordered to participate in this? Did he really want HR killed? I think not. I think he held out hope of reconciliation one day. As the baby of the family, was he expected to acquiesce to the wishes of his family? As some have mentioned, at least participate, even if only on look-out.
I firmly believe each legal team will lay this on the line, to their respective client: This is not a package deal. You’re in for the fight of YOUR life. I’m not concerned about saving anyone else, I’m trying to save you. Start talking.
I think death row/LWOP is going to sound pretty daunting to Boy Jake & if, just if, he did not kill anyone, he’s gonna start talking. With his naïveté, his lawyers can have him talking in no time, IMO.
I bet AW was crazy if the boys were out of her sight. The fear they might talk, even amongst themselves & be overheard, etc., had to be enormous.

I also think JW might develop a sincere relationship with his legal team and for the first time in his young life, make his own decisions.
If he can lessen his charges, would he avoid doing so, for the love of his family? I highly doubt it.
Again, with his naïveté, his lawyers will get him talking, IMO. It would not surprise me if they want to have trial #1.
Each day apart from his family, he’s becoming more independent from them. He’s realizing his mom assuring him “we will never get caught” didn’t ring true. As a lot of what he was likely told by his family.

I don't know how it happens, or what makes people behave the way they do. I can only call them grifters & con men who have the motto: Why pay for anything you can steal? and "Don't give away what you can sell to an idiot."
(imported little pigs from Viet Nam....really, I really mean REALLY? Who would know the difference? You could tell me your cat was pure bred Himalayan that cost $1200.... whoop-tee-doo, but at the end of the day, you still have to buy the same brand of cat litter.)

Would prosecutors also consider the effect on victim's families? Or at least they'd have to bring the families onside, IMO.I don’t think Prosecutors are going to “need” anyone to flip.
Unless there are other murders or serious crimes to hang on any of them.
I think every hour if every day LE investigated this crime, they were diligent, dedicated and extremely skillful in obtaining everything needed and more to charge these people. I may be far off here but I think every charge has detailed facts and evidence behind them to obtain convictions. Court is always a crap shoot but I don’t believe DEWine, Reader or any of the Prosecutors for that matter is going to risk careers over an unprepared prosecution.
It’s going to take something very very unique and significant to need anyone to share information or get a deal in this case. This made International headlines. The National media will cover the proceedings.
I strongly believe LE waited so long was to pass the scrutiny of DEWine and many Prosecutors in his office. Had he been using the case as a political football the Waggies would have been in jail months earlier He didn’t. That tells me they waited for the piece found in October 30, and it’s not quite clear if it was a suppressor or something related to one.
I think the case is well prepared, well documented and will proceed on merits and evidence alone. No one gets anything on this one.
As always if I write it it’s my opinion based on my knowledge.

Why does everyone think Jake is a weak child. He’s 27 years old an adult with at least one child. He CI owned a farm, knowingly had sex with an underage adolescent.
He was part of one of the worst crimes I can remember. A kid didn’t participate in this crime, he was an adult.
His looks? Ted Bundy was handsome, attended law school, and was a friend of author Ann Rule. He murdered how many women? Evil lurks and comes in every size shape and form.
It’s time to treat him as an adult who is charged in 8 murders including the young mother of his daughter. He supposedly passionately loved her at one time. And was intimate with her in time to believe he may have been the father to her 5 day old baby.
He’s a big boy, and probably committed unspeakable crimes that affected a hundred family members. Time to treat him just like the others.
