Jmo I can see why people who don’t live in the area might think W are behind this, but I do not think W are behind this at all. Jmo
Agree.

I would also like to know which Walmart they visited

I wonder how much evidence in the pending trial depends on what these trailers hold. Is there some way it can be twisted to throw out this evidence? I know it was insecure at the old storage location and there was fear it would've corrupted the evidence, but then they were moved, now no proper bid? Could it matter to the case? Here is one. I will look for the one I was thinking of this afternoon.
"ALH Contracting received contracts for the Rhoden murder scene without going to bid."
Pike County sheriff's race among dirtiest in Ohio

Maybe just making life complicated for the law? Tie up the legal eagles with hassles?
Sheriff Reader and AG Dewine have been quoted a couple times stating that all the evidence they retrieved has been stored in PCSO evidence lockers. They said there is no evidence left in the trailers. They kept them to prevent vandalism and possibly to use during the trials, allowing jurors to walk through them to see first-hand how the crimes were committed.

IF there were bed bugs, chances are the Wagners had them too. Considering S went back and forth between their residence and all the crime scene locations on UHR, the chances of bed bugs not migrating with her belongings is slim to none.
I’m not with the majority when it comes to the bed bug talk. I firmly believe all of the homes were treated for bed bugs because of being put into storage, which is a breeding ground for all insects. IMO, the bed bug treatment listed by LE was a preventative since all of the deceased possessions were inside those homes and would be stored.
Rhoden family massacre: Arrests throw child custody issue back to Ohio courts
Pike County massacre: Who will get custody of 5-year-old?
Jake Wagner balked at that: “No, I did not go to Hanna’s home three weeks prior to April 22 and kick in the door demanding she sign over custody of Sophia,’’ he wrote in that June 2017 email. “I did not want that. I wanted to continue what we were doing. It was working just fine.”

It is curious that Jake would mention that some relatives said he went to Hanna's and kicked her door down three weeks prior to the murders. Three weeks prior is about the time Rita forged the custody document. IMO he went to Hanna's with that forged custody document and tried to fool her into giving him SW.

Respectfully, that is how the journalist wrote the article. It’s never been stated by LE or a direct investigative source that any of the homes were infested. There was an invoice pulled from public records that showed a charge for bed bug treatment. It was widely reported there was a bed bug infestation.
A year after slayings, few answers in Pike County
In his interview, LM only said there was a big event that happened there "the other night" and that LE treated the family badly. He never said what the conflict was or who was involved.
We'll probably find out, though, during the trials.

Was the Sheriff called when the "joy riders' were run off by the Rhoden boys? That was a few weeks prior. Also a few weeks prior was the road rage incident. Was the Sheriff there after that incident? It could be several things, I would guess...
From your link:
Sounds like they provided some services to secure the properties and preserve the evidence, most likely before the homes were shipped to Hadsell Chemical. Any evidence taken from the crime scene is stored by Pike County in their evidence storage facilities.
I'm not seeing this as a big deal yet, especially considering it was brought up and investigated a couple of years ago. Not seeing anything here that indicates a problem with the case against the Wagners. DeWine and BCI wouldn't allow that to happen, not with so many careers riding on the outcome.
JMO, it sounds like someone wants to poison public opinion about the Rhoden murder case and protect the Wagners.
My point is despite how it was reported, that has never been stated as fact by any investigative offices involved. Could they have been infested? Sure. Could the treatment also have been for preventive measures? Absolutely. No where on that public invoice obtained by the media did it say homes were infested. The media said that. The media is also notorious for sensationalizing information for ratings and viewers attention. COW.Respectfully, it was reported as “infestation” , on the local news stations, as well. Not as “trailer homes were ‘pretreated’ to prevent a future infestation.” MOO
No, he didn't say that some relatives said he went to Hanna's and kicked the door down. He was using an exaggeration to make his point. No one accused him of that. He was saying in an exaggerated way that he didn't go there acting like a brute trying to force HR to give him custody... It is confusing that he worded it that way but he was trying to say that he was not being a brute about it and kicking down the door making demands...
I agree with the more objective to a point, but the power of W keeps getting talked about on here. I have never heard of the W having any power over the area in all the years they have lived on that farm. Maybe I missed something over the years jmoI understand what you're saying, but people from outside the area may also have a more objective view of the W family. They had motive, means and opportunity. JW may have been one of the last people to see HMR alive (I don't believe his "revised" story about when he picked up S). Their activities and public comments after the crimes are seen by many as highly suspicious.
Unlike locals, outsiders perceive the W family the same as anyone else in the area. They're not swayed or intimidated by the years of influence that the W family's power and wealth have impacted locals.
