JMO, The shoes where supposed to match like the Manley shoes, it was intended to throw off the LEO, and to frame the Manley for murder.

Why the Manleys? Why not CG? or AC and her family? There was history there, x2, and recent, too. It doesn't say how many pairs of shoes were purchased from Walmart, just that specific shoes were purchased there. What if they checked out all of the R's and HHG's, shoe sizes and that way the shoe prints would just mix in at each homeowner's?

Count 9;

Purchase leading up to the Aggravated murders/burglaries, including, but not
limited to; specific shoes from Walmart, "brass catcher(s)",items with which to build
brass catchers, ammo, a magazine clip, a "bug" detector,
and/or parts to build a "silencer(s)", and/or various other items in prep
of these crimes;

18 pieces of evidence....I think that is a no brainer....bullet casings that didn't fall into the brass catchers! Why you ask? Easy, the brass catchers were not made to hold 32 bullet casings...they spilled over because the catchers were full. IMO, duh. Or, the casing were hot and burned a hole in the kevlar fabric and some fell out of the hole? Just thinking out loud and hoping for other ideas. TYIA

If what GR's Dad said he was told by investigators, is true, there were two calibers of shell casings found.

Kevlar holds up until around 850°f, but that doesn't mean no casings were dropped, had to be at least two. The catchers could've been lesser material also.

You're welcome. Just felt that part was relevant, it says so much that we didn't know until the indictments.

Earlier, Count One I believe, IMO, states Kenny was killed to cover up the other murders. I dare say that without re-reading, but that's what I took from it, IMO/MOO.

edit: Hmm, the Ohio AG web link to the indictments has been unplugged. Shows a blank page for me now. Disappearing info again? Doesn't even show in the address bar. Deleted with extreme prejudice.

Col., I’ll link, you can try Again?!?

https://www.ohioattorneygeneral.gov...cial-Prosecutions/PikeCountyMurderIndictments

I had no issue but look what happened earlier when I was first to click on the family picture.

Thanks, that link works, or begins opening the .pdf at least. The link I have from the first release is completely dead. I'll bet the latest version has the typos corrected. "patter" corrected to pattern.

edit: Pattern is spelled correctly in the latest link to the indictments.

Think it possible that CR1 may have gotten off a shot? Both brass catchers failing at the same time, would be awfully fortunate for LE. It could happen though. I've just wondered that about CR1 since he is said to have had a defensive wound, so, I felt, he was up and mobile. Wish he'd nailed at least one.

COLMUSTARD Alrightee! "GR's Dad said he was told by investigators, is true, there were two calibers of shell casings found." Okay, that confirms NOT ALL THE SHELL CASINGS were caught in the brass catchers. That is a major WOW. The next major (or colonel?)
WOW is that two different calibers were found. From that we can glean two weapons, at best. But, if two different calibers at one location would/could indicate two different shooters; especially if LE deployed stingrays to approximate the height of the shooters.

Just a "way out there thought" maybe he did. Wonder if a "flesh wound" could be treated with the same rx's available through most veterinary supplies found in a breeder's medicine cabinet?

I'd say without a doubt. If your life is on the line, via the death penalty, you can stitch and super glue yourself.

It's possible. That's info that LE would probably keep wrapped up until trial. If they have unknown DNA from a crime scene, it could soon be known.

Wonder Dust is miraculous for wounds. I would THINK every horse owner has it on hand. Jmo, of course.

Having personally experienced an obsessed stalker....JW's & fam's actions in making plans, stalking, following, video & recording location of where HMR slept and who she was dating comes as no surprise. Even "implying" he had a relationship that continued after their break up is something I totally doubt. I believe it was made up in order to keep up the facade of a relationship that could be rekindled. She was done with him and his whole family.... Did anyone consider his obsession was so great, he decided to kill HMR rather than have his family realize he was not the father of the newborn? Sounds crazy, huh? But no crazier than killing 8 innocent human beings.

You have a nice night too, Mittens. I'm a regular down to earth person who lives life in Appalachia too. That's why I guess I misunderstand some of this talk.

I'm not in Appalachia but know people from there and know people like that and do not live there. I know people with junk cars on their property that fix them up and sell them. I know people that fish and hunt a lot. None of that makes them inferior to anyone else. They all work, pay taxes, believe in God, and have hopes and dreams like anyone else. But when my friend's wife says she is going to town to do the "tradin", you get reminded where they were from...

But that place is now under investigation jmo

BCI and AG DeWine have been in charge of the case. DeWine has too much riding on this case to allow it to be messed up. He probably knows every item of evidence, every detail an is in charge of all the storage, testing, etc. There's nothing to worry about. I used to have some doubts as well, but now that he's moved the case to arrest and prosecution, I no longer worry.

TRUDIE I can't figure you out...how in a million years would anyone know about Wonder Dust so quickly? Get out of my head! LOL. Along that train of thought...every rancher has tons of antibiotics in their cabinet. Back them up into a blind shoot and inject the penicillin... no vet needed! Even if W's had bruises or scratches on them, that could be explained away with injuries occurring in their animal breeding business.
This is all so tragic. HMR's family did nothing wrong. All they did was to provide refuge and support to a young Mother who chose to leave the W's psychotic control of everything/everyone that ever crossed their path.

What? I use Wonder Dust almost daily on a horse or a dog. I have it in my medicine cabinet, barn & always in my saddle bag.

Considering that Kevlar fiber is what bullet proof vests are made from, I doubt a spent casing burned a hole in it.
I've designed plastic parts with Kevlar fiber to strengthen it for a heavy duty application.

Interesting.
Why is it in my mind that only 2 shell casings were found?
