We will learn why Csr's body decomposition was showing he was among first shot at trial probably. From what I've seen many factors play a role in body decomposition. I have been unfruitful in my search posing the question of age and health of the individual playing a significant role in the rate of decomposition rate of different individuals. I'd like to hear a person who is in the field answer this question. MOO
"An Undercurrent of drugs" "there is no evidence necessarily to say the motive is drug related" this doesn't mean that he's ruling out that there is a second motive where the grow operations were involved as a motive.
Undercurrent means: an underlying feeling or influence, especially one that is contrary to the prevailing atmosphere and is not expressed openly.
So he is definitively saying there are suspicions that drugs are involved but there is no evidence of it since there is no evidence he cannot bring that forthright to openly state it as a motive in these murders.
NO EVIDENCE OF THE SPECULATION(the forming of a theory or conjecture without firm evidence)
Because they do not have the evidence to show there is reason for their theory that this is essentially drug-related they cannot, again, give it openly in a statement by law that it is a definite motive.

The office of Attorney General Mike DeWine has said Christopher Rhoden Sr. had "a large-scale marijuana growing operation," leading some to speculate the killings were drug-related.
Rhodens shot in head at point-blank range
"A large-scale Marijuana growing operation" pulls in lots of cash.

When I state what I stated earlier in no means implies that the R family were not hard workers. Everything they did shows evidence to the contrary of that statement. Just because they were the "little" guys looking poor as they probably were it really looks like much of their money pulled in went towards buying cars at auctions, putting money into them, and then reselling them, which is a very legitimate business. I know nothing of OHIO laws on MJ what it was at the time of the murders or even now. However, there is a statement made on this thread about them which I know to be true. The government will most certainly provide more liency to those who are in the upper classes before they will give leiency to the lower classes in which the R.'s were in. If I stated that the R's were indeed growing marijuana and bringing in cash that way that isn't an assassination of their character either. CR. Sr. he had 9 gunshot wounds (that is so overkill and someone was pissed at him when they shot him) DR had 5 (in one article I read stated METHODICALLY placed) gunshot wounds on her face and under her chin (included in the total of five wounds). IF CUSTODY was the SOLE MOTIVATOR in all this I would think they would be pissed at HR and she would have more than the two she did have. It is stated that KR and CRsr both were involved in selling weed. KR had one gunshot wound to the right eye and money strewn at his feet (I am confused about the 1, 000 because the time I read it they stated dollar bills which I took to mean $1 bills).

If, in fact, BW sold and was in business with the MJ growing and distribution thereof there was money going around. In that business people are slighted all the time and you hear of murders even for as little as a $20 slight. That is a known fact. The fact that the W's turned around and threw their money around buying new stuff was dumb on their part if they were on SSI OR SSDI. Where did the money come from? If this is the case, they show their stupidity with it. The R's seemed MORE careful in the fact that they could purchase the cars at auction, take them, fix them up, and sell them for more leaving a better paper trail to show where they got the money to buy anything.

As for them being friends and friendly, their daughter was married to the W's son....there must have been a wedding, a baby shower, not to mention birthday parties, etc. Of course they did things with the W's. That is what families do. What family's don't do is go out murdering when their kids split up.

I feel, MOO, is that there certainly was an underlying factor of the Grow Operation at play that the authorities cannot prove difinitively. I do think Custody played a role in all this. I think the anger built up gradually over time to where the custody or whatever BW and CRsr were arguing about came to a boiling point and the family killed the R's in cold blood. End of story.
