Absolutely! I would!

"Let me ask you: If you take a car you bought for $1,200 and put in a few hundred dollars and it ends up being worth $8,000, wouldn't you do it?" Manley asked.

Why the Rhoden family had so many cars

Were Kenneth and CSR in the vehicle business together? It appeared Kenneth had several vehicles in his estate.
Again- open to correction on misinterpretation

It was reported that $ 1,000 in bills were scattered over KR.
The W4 were financially struggling.
Where did the $ 1,000 in bills come from?

#1.) Money that was in Kenny's camper.
#2.) They had a lot of "under the table" cash.
#3.) As Loomis just mentioned,
........they owned Defiance Farms in Peebles.
#4.) They had almost 4 months to plan this and ........possibly longer so they just built up the .........money. Risky because of fingerprints and .........trace evidence that can be left on the bills. .........This is why I think it's possible they used .........Kenny's cash from his camper.

IDK if they were in business together, but kinda doubt it. JMO. I think each one was doing his own thing with the cars. KR had a full time job in Columbus. But that's just my speculation, worth nothing without proof.

And yes, KR did have 20+ vehicles listed in his probate, if I remember correctly. Too tired to look up. I believe in my heart he and Chris were just trying to make a living, but were good people, unlike the Ws. It takes very bad, evil people to commit the kinds of murders done to the Rhodens.

Since they essentially knew everything about the victims via their surveillance sources, they could have very well known if KR had money hidden.

The W's told many lies per LE.

We don't know if she was being truthful when she said that CR and BW were best friends or like brothers. I have never heard LE confirm that they were in any business together. Obviously, the families would know each other somewhat because of HR and SW.

I thought BW was in the trucking business plus his stealing business.

jmo
Can yo tell us what is the name of the trucking companies he was in business with from LE reports he was on SSI.

MOO...speculation ….my thoughts have been running along the line of illegal business partnership (In no way makes anyone 'bad' perse) with the safe and the money strewn on KR... with comments made about CRsr and KR being involved in the grow operations....that is where my mind is headed. I have no proof and am just trying to make sense of the three. This is all speculation on my part and just thoughts...MOO

MOO added to this … if they were in a 'legitimate' business together, in a legal partnership, then BW et family wouldn't have moved and BW would have to either tie loose ends up for the business before he moved or stay and continue running said business and there would be mention of this. A Partner just doesn't pick up and leave the business in the event that that partner becomes deceased during that business unless it was broken up prior to the party becoming deceased.
Has anyone ever set down and took a long look at all the pictures of the Rhoden crime scenes and the Wagners pictures of their homes and vehicles, the Rhodens just did get by in everyday life, everyone worked and everyone had rebuilt vehicles, now the Wagners had newer high dollar diesel ton trucks, a diesel SUV (they sold after the murders) a new home, building new barns, high dollar 4 wheelers and unlimited guns for hunting, and none of the Wagners had full time jobs. Who do you think the criminal really where? Rhodens didn’t have a million dollar weed business, if that where true I would think they wouldn’t be nailing tarps down on the roof to keep it from leaking. JMO

Friendly reminder:
The only ones implicated in the murders are the four Wagners who are in jail. It is against TOS to accuse anyone who has not been designated a suspect or POI in the case.

They also owned Defiance Farms in Peebles, which brought in mucho money. The FB account is still active and shows pictures and prices of their animals that AW posted for sale. And JW and GW4 owned and drove a semi, plus worked as diesel mechanics. Just saying... Thanks, CC!
That’s odd AW said in her interview to CINCINNATI Enquirer that the reason they moved to Alaska was the country was beautiful, they loved it there and there was not enough work in Pebbles Ohio something not right with the Wagners, does anyone think they might have had a lot of trouble in their little clan with each other maybe jealous of one and each other . Counterfeit news sources:

Counterfeit bill investigation lands 3 in jail

There's more, but probably irrelevant. The best info was the arrests for counterfeiting at the time, but I honestly don't feel like those are relevant at this time. Arrests have been made and evidence is pouring out against the Ws. No use to waste our precious time on this. JMO

Could be the Wagners stole money (obviously not a lot) from CR1, GR, KR and other victims. I don't think the bills DR mentioned were $1,000 denomination.

If they were business partners and IF Billy was still not financially secure, I could very well see how he and AW may have been jealous.

I finally decided to look at probate records again and it appears CSR had $75,623.61 in the bank. This seems like a lot of cash for his trade, especially since he just purchased Dana's place. My Opinion

I just checked and didn't see that. Any way you can provide a screen cap or image of that info? TIA

Are you sure about that amount? Might want to recheck your source. TIA

Yes, the Rhoden's financial situation seemed pretty clear from the photos and other information that came out in the first weeks after the murders. They were resourceful, hard working people who made money the best way they could. They didn't seem to overspend or take on a lot of debt.

When the Wagners first came under scrutiny, it seemed they led a more prosperous lifestyle as you point out. Lots of nice vehicles, real estate, plenty of expensive stuff piled up and left behind when they moved to AK. It was surprising to learn that, other than Jake doing some over the road driving, they really didn't have much in the way of income.

I'm not sure if the W's killed the Rhodens as much because of jealousy as it was a sense of "entitlement". W's thought they were better than the Rhodens, they looked down on them, saw them as lesser human beings. Of course they were wrong in that assessment.

I'd like those Camaros please......:D:cool:;)

Sure wish I still had them. Every time I bought a car like that and got it fixed up, I'd have something come up and have to sell them.

Forgive me for butting in...look up Chris Sr in pike county probate court records. I posted the link earlier. The account is an estate acct and the money is from a state farm ins policy with interest.

I don't know if they were in business together but they may have both fixed up cars to sell.

Thanks, I did look and didn't find that amount listed anywhere. Is it in Pike County Probate Court? Nvmnd, I'm trying to find the right document, but that web site is so hinky, every time you click on something, the entire page disappears.

Ok, found it. Yes, most of that is from a life insurance payout. Most of CR1's assets were in his real estate and the value of the stuff he had sitting around the property - cars, equipment, etc.
