I still wonder where they were at that time. Back then, I assumed they were already on their way to or had arrived in AK. After seeing some recent evidence, it looks like they were still in town, possibly at that hotel down near Lucasville that showed up the other day where trash was later searched. Will have to go back to look for the name. Need to add this to the timeline.

2 Hotel names:
Days Inn and Jackson Days Inn. Please post if you find that hotel down near Lucasville.
https://html2-f.scribdassets.com/5zbix3y0ow6tp04l/images/7-f66b74f151.jpg

Jake and Angie gave interviews to the press through Facebook when asked about the searches. Angie said they were on vacation in Alaska but now we know we can't trust anything the Wagner's put out in the media, including Fred. And they could have been in town using their Facebook to give an interview, they didn't have to be long distance to do that.

".....The Wagners said officials left their property, which had been methodically packed and covered by tarps, exposed to the elements while they took a family vacation to Alaska. They said many items were either destroyed or remain missing........."

"......Angela Wagner said the family was provided copies of the search warrants, along with a list of items seized. But she said there was nothing on the warrant to indicate why authorities wanted to search a 71-acre farm in Peebles they had recently sold. (And search Fred's property using a SWAT team and search the car lot with their trailers.)

Why were properties searched in mass-killing probe? Owners say they don't know

"Just the addresses" were listed on the warrants, she said.

Wagner declined to provide copies of those warrants or the inventories of items officers took to The Enquirer for verification....... "

I'm also unsure why the attempt to purchase the Montana property would be part of discovery unless they attempted to purchase it with someone else's info (social security # in discovery maybe??). It's not typically illegal or a big deal to buy real estate.

If the property in Missouri is the one we initially thought it may be, it had two pending sales that fell through (almost back to back) just before the W's came back from Alaska. Angie's discovery shows 2 separate mortgage apps/companies.
Possibility??

Edit: one is the stated residential loan app and one mortgage documents. Yet these are two different lending companies. So they could still be two attempts at purchase. ???

HMR was in her bed. I tend to think she was first for this reason.

DR would be moving or running after. She could have struggled with the assaillants as they exited HMR's bedroom.

If there were two shooters, DR and HMR may have been shot within seconds of each other.

My GUESS of which hotel. The entries appear to be under the same date rather than multiple hotels.
Edit- added spaces and only first letter of city so this thread doesn't become a search result if someone is looking up the hotel o_O

I do agree Betty. I'm wondering if the Alaska "vacation" trip maye have occurrd earlier than we may have been led to believe. Just because Jake eluded to them being on vacation via social media, does not mean that's when the photos were actually taken.
The Jackson Days Inn trash search 6/8/17 was after the big searches in May but before the Bethel Hill rd search on 7/13/17. I wonder what they pitched at the hotel?

I also wonder if Montana was search warrants for July 2017. If they are, it appears two were executed and one was not. Was this part of the stop along the way to Alaska but possibly one trailer was no longer with them or one of the three vehicles took a different route from the others for some reason?

Just guesses

Do you have any information or links about the 7-13-17 Bethel Hill Rd. Search? Thankx.

And thankx @Tiff23fr for your answer to my other question about the hotel!...;)

I've got a repairman coming over to do some electrical work this morning, but I'll try to get back to it this afternoon. I want to update our pre-arrest timeline and fill in the information that has come via discovery.

I'm going to add the date for searching the trash. Was there a date associated with the Montana information? Gotta go find that discovery doc.

I remember seeing it in a discovery document but don't remember where. So I better say JMO for now.

Betty- I don't know if they are dates but in AW's discovery it says:
Montana:
SW-7-2017-255 (59pp)
SW-7-2017-256 (59pp)
SW-7-2017-257 (59pp) not executed

My deciphering led me to believe SW means search warrant and 7-2017 could be the date, with 255-257 being the issue number.
So it's JMO.

Basically, I'm thinking they may not have wanted to come back to OH. They simply may have ran out of options. JMO

A few pages back the discussion went to gw4 asking to be put in solitary. I believe I know why, in jail and prison, the hollering goes on 24/7. There is only one way to get away from it and that is solitary. Of course he could have a 2 fold reason, second being that he is being threatened. In my opinion he deserves to be in general population where there is no peace and quiet but that could be why he asked for it.

Thanks, it helps to keep posting reminders. People don't always check in here in time to see.
Jake Wagner's hearing is tomorrow at 1:30 pm, but if things go as they have lately, the public part probably won't happen until 2:30.

We'll be watching, someone usually finds a live feed just before it begins.

I wonder how many motions his attorneys will have...

Personal opinion is fine. Theory should be based on known facts...

PLEASE leave out the rumors even f you don't believe them.

Thanks all!

My personal opinion is Missouri and Montana are 2 separate things.

Montana in July 2017 could be one of the searches of personal property on the way to Alaska. Jake says ND, but it is right next door to MT and we clearly can't believe all he says. Note 2 were searched. I think authorities could have been expecting 3 (personal opinion) which is why only 2 were executed.

"Conklin said the family arrived driving two heavy-duty pickup trucks pulling a large horse trailer and another 24-foot-long trailer covered with a tarp and have been in the process of unpacking it.

Jake Wagner told Conklin it took the family about a week to drive to Alaska and they got stopped at the Canadian border in North Dakota. Officials there made them unload the trailers and reload them before letting them pass through."

Alaskan meets his new neighbors: A family named in Rhoden massacre investigation

Missouri real estate my opinion ould be early '18: personal opinion could be after they left Alaska. Look under price history for Feb and Mar on Zillow and you will see two pending sales that fell through. My opinion is it could have been when it was time to leave Alaska they may have wanted to go. When it fell through they came to OH. All opinion

All JMO

Apologies if I missed something, but how could the W's purchase properties/homes when none of them had gainful employment? Was someone offering to pony up the cash?

I just found it interesting they appear to have applied per her discovery. Beyond that and details around it would be speculation at this time.

The Montana transactions were July of 2017.

From your post above:

Montana:
SW-7-2017-255 (59pp)
SW-7-2017-256 (59pp)
SW-7-2017-257 (59pp) not executed

Will have to find the Missouri info. I know I looked up the location of the property, down near Lebanon, MO, south of Lake of the Ozarks.
