How could anyone remove your surveillance cameras while you are home? Why wouldn't KR see them? I believe that CR actually did see them coming.

If the camera systems were removed when the R's weren't home then wouldn't they know as soon as they returned?

Actually, wouldn't the camera systems have been set up to notify them if someone was on the property? If it couldn't notify them by phone then could it have been set up so that CR could see if someone was at KR's and vice versa?

jmo.

I don't think all could be removed. My thinking was a few game style cameras that saved to a Sim card rather than streamed live could have.

I completely agree on the ones at the front of CSR's home. I don't remember for sure, but I felt like Reader or Dewine one said something along the lines of CSR seeing them. (Don't mark it fact, it just seems I recall it.)

On a plus note, I noticed they did get trail cam footage at 51 UHR. Hopefully it has something of value on it.

How does anyone know it was "Jake" at Kenny's??? Maybe it was not even a Wagner, we can't know who was where at this point.
Governor DeWine said in his news release that no one else was involved in killing the Rhoden but the 4 Wagners, November 2018

I have tried to think through so many options but still can't figure out one that works completely.
Opinions have been stated he left the door unlocked because DS was staying the night. In that scenario, they ran the risk of DS actually showing up.

If they picked a lock his dog would have started barking right away, I would think. That would have given him time to get his gun. Unless, his gun was taken earlier??
Could it be possible that someone accessed his camper and took his gun earlier? He would then have limited options once they were in.
Just an opinion

IMO & MOO, the toxicology reports are hidden in the autopsy reports and I don’t know if this would apply to KR, but it’s not uncommon for So. Ohio men to kick back and toss a few rounds. Since he wasn’t planning to work on Fri this could be a possible theory for why he didn’t waken. Idk if he did or did not wake up but if he was lying in bed I would assume he was asleep, perhaps soundly. JMO.

JMO With Kenny's door probably not locking from the inside, I'm thinking they brought along a very powerful flashlight and flashed him upon entry, blinding him and shooting him before he could make since of what was happening before he could get his gun. What do you think?

On Friday, I thought he was planning to get up early, shower at CRsr's and work on cars (maybe in Columbus) with Don/Doug (?) Stone.

I don't recall seeing that it would not lock from the inside. That said, if the locked worked good, he wouldn't have needed a hasp and padlock on the door for when he was gone....
I'm thinking the door lock didn't work at all - whether it be from the inside or outside - and so that is why he locked it with a padlock when he left. But again, JMO as it was something I read early on when this had just happened and all I remember is he never locked his door when he was home because it did not lock, but he did put the padlock on the outside when he left. So I really don't know, but good point, Dudly. :)

This article says all were removed.

Pike County: Death in the foothills

LM talked about the elaborate system at CR's and DS talked about the extensive system at KR's.

My guess is that the systems were setup to prevent product/cash from being stolen.

Is it possible that CR could monitor KR's grow up from CR's trailer and vice versa?

I should have said "I don't think all could be removed in advance."

Your guess is a good possibility. I would have no idea what could be monitored or from where.

Okay, killing is one thing, accessory is another. And that is JMO, I think. Besides that it still doesn't mean "Jake" killed Kenny which was the point of my original post.

Donald Stone says he and Kenneth were going to be working on cars Friday morning, but Kendra says her dad was suppose to be at work that Friday.

Donald Stone's version:
'Kenneth would normally padlock the camper where he lived from the outside when he left.'I was supposed to meet him the night before and go to work on some cars with him in the morning.'When I didn't hear from him I went to the camper and it was unlocked and his truck was outside and I felt there must have been something wrong.'It was the afternoon and he would normally be out working on cars at 5.30 am.

Kendra Rhoden's version:
"We're calling him. We're leaving messages. He was supposed to be at work. Well, then, 12 o'clock came around, he was supposed to be on break. My dad never ignored me," Kendra recalled. She'd thought her dad was at his job in Columbus.

Then, the family sent a friend and a Rhoden cousin over to check Kenneth's home. The pair called Kendra's aunt to tell her the news.

I have to ask, where does shower at CSR's keep coming from?

I have never seen it mentioned anywhere other than from the deleted gossip threads. So we have no idea if that is rumor or fact. That's quite a ways to go for a shower. There were other relatives closer.

That's a good question! Will have to look into that tomorrow and get it straightened out.

Yes. I think our conversation should stay with this assumption. JMO

If it is technically possible that CR and KR could see each others property on their respective surveillance cameras then KR would have to be murdered too.

I will try to find out if it is technically possible. o_O

jmo. moo.

The culprits, DeWine said, were the child's father and members of his extended family. According to their indictments, four of them plotted meticulously to kill the Rhodens on April 22, 2016, and conceal the evidence after. Two more face charges of aiding in the cover-up.

"We always felt from the beginning that the perpetrators were very familiar with the victims and their homes," DeWine said. "The Wagners certainly were." Fact not JMO

It's possible. I can let anyone of my family scan the QR code and they'd have my security cameras to watch on their phone. Along with a password. Meant to quote @OhioBlues

eta, I can also put it on any computer or laptop in our house. Other users can also.

The killers sure managed to get a lot done if all at night between taking the lives of 8, taking down cameras in at least two locations, fighting with CSR (presumably before his death), possibly removing any counter surveillance they had placed, and whatever else they did to cover their tracks.

From that article:
His cousin Donald Stone, also 44, said Rhoden was worried about security at his camper home and had installed a network of cameras to record and alert him to visitors.
Stone discovered his body and called police adding: 'Those cameras were not there. They had been taken down by the killer.'

There were 4 people. They could do all this quickly and easily if thought out and planned (which it was)

Kenny was killed to make it look drug related .. that’s reason number 1 he was killed. No he wasn’t killed because he drove by please,,,,,
The secondary motive could be he would know who did it and come for revenge
