Is there a reason some people aren't using REPLY WITH QUOTE? If is a great habit to get into. When a thread gets busy it makes a huge difference! If it is used it is easy to click and go back to the original comment if needed.

Thanks.
Sorry that was me. But I really wasn't replying to a quote. It was One of my rambling thoughts again. (and I accidentally double posted and don't know how to delete it)

Well, could be, but I don't think very likely. I think both Chris and Gary were awake and both tangled with the killers, but I think Chris would have been the one most likely to beat the daylights out of two, that's when the gun came out and the shooting began. The only reason I can come up with they were drug to the bedroom is if the door was locked and somebody looked in the window on the door, it would appear that either nobody was home or they were sleeping. Probably hoping it would be later in the day that they were found. To me, that's the most logical scenario, but who knows?

Not to worry. I hadn't noticed an issue with your posts. I hate to harp on it but when I follow several threads it slows down the reading process

ETA: You should be able to delete by clicking edit. Good luck.

ETA: Another reason to use Reply With Quote is that some people read the threads backwards. MOO

Well Jax49, I'm sure you are referring to me, and I haven't figured out how! And ya know all those cute little smiley faces we have to choose from? I tried about three times yesterday to use one of those, and that eludes me, too! Still learning about my new tablet.

LOL. We've got to figure out the reply part, I might be able to help with that but you're on your own with the faces.

Do you see the thanks and reply options? The reply with quote should be to the right of those.

Wondering if (and I haven't thought this completely through yet)... Wanted to see what y'all think.

Why were CR1 and GR in back room?

Maybe one of them was home and the perp killed that person first (either CR1 or GR). The other of the 2 arrived shortly afterwards. Perp drags first one to back room so 2nd one doesn't see him. Then 2nd one arrives and gets shot too.

He dragged 2nd one to back room too because maybe he's expecting a 3rd to arrive. Maybe the third never gets there.

Is this me making stuff up, or was there a rumor they were not dressed? And we know there were 32 GSW, but we don't know how many shots actually fired.
And if CR1 had bruising, he must have been in close contact with the shooter(s), and DNA could be found?

I feel like they were sleeping, GR on the sofa, shot first, CR1 rushing out of the bedroom, throwing himself at the shooter. But why not just leave them there on the floor? Maybe if they were the first to be hit, perp(s) couldn't take the chance of someone seeing the bodies through the window and ruin the rest of the mission. But who would come and look through the windows late at night? Family? They would just lock them self in. Can anyone make any sense of this?

I've got it in my head there was a separate basement under an addition built on the back of the trailer. Does anyone else remember that?

ETA: referencing Dana's trailer as mentioned in quoted reply.

I also, remember reading about a separate basement under an addition, I think it was when they were talking about moving the trailers. It was said that Dana's would be more difficult because of the one under the addition.

Does anyone know if pike county sheriff's office has an email tip line or do you have to call? Not that I have a tip, just wondering. I think this case needs to be shared more on social media with a tip email address. People don't like to make phone calls anymore, but it's easy to email a tip.

2) Some things are best left unsaid.

With that said, I would be reluctant to speak. Unless I knew I could do it totally anonymous, LE wouldn't know who it was. jmo idk

Did something, said something, or knew something, yes. I think that's been the working assumption for most people since the get-go, unless this was an impulsive act (like a crime of passion, which doesn't seem likely).

With the sliver of info that LE has given us, I don't think we can rule out any theory, it has gotten so frustrating. Myself I am keeping crime of passion on the table. Just thinking that in the 7 or 8 yrs DR and CR were apart, that one or both of them had a relationship that could have ended badly.

I'm on an iPhone and I have 3 options in the bottom right corner of each post. The first is an arrow. Second is a box with " and the 3rd, a box with " and a + sign. I've not figured out what the 3rd is for.

Not familiar with IPhone display, but it sounds like the PLUS sign would be to reply with multiple quotes.

Yes, you're right. It's hard to rule anything out at this point. Still, some theories seem less likely than others. A bad ending to a relationship is hard to square with the concerted effort (probably by multiple killers) to slaughter eight people at four different locations. It's possible, but until we get more info, I'm not inclined toward the theory. But that's just one opinion.

I don't remember hearing anything about the clothing any of the victims were wearing. Unless maybe Chris and/or Gary were in the habit of wearing t-shirts and sleep pants, maybe they weren't in daytime attire. I know as for myself, if somebody stops by after 10p, there's a 99% chance I will be wearing PJ's.

I looked on the PCSD website yesterday, and didn't find an email address. There is a fax# 740-947-1049.

I don't remember anything about how they were clothed either and actually hadn't thought about it. An interesting question.

O.T. -- Welcome back and congrats on quoting.

I have found very interesting information about this case from news articles, i.e."THE. COLUMBUs DISPATCH"."THE. PIKE
COUNTY NEWS WATCHMAN"'FACEBOOK" and others..I found an obituary that is interesting. I do not call any names,
I stick to TOS regulations, Question? Am I able to refer to any of those news sources? This thing is dragging on too long.
I think we can put some new life in the debates.

Ray, glad you're here! You can post newspaper articles and videos from TV, however, we aren't supposed to bring FB stuff here because I think things on there are usually here say and not necessarily fact. You could send a private msg to tlcya and find out for certain about FB. She might need to check it out before giving an OK.

I tried it to see, it puts a check mark on it. I guess like GTAWmom said, maybe that means following someone. I've not figured out how to post multiple quotes yet. I'm a little jealous!

Thank you ..I am accumulating information from web link from Google..I don't have newspaper articles only what the I-pad
allows.I am finding the reporters that write those articles are Facebook members and I talk to them via their message box.
I feel that if I asked the reporter a question on Facebook, their answer is reliable and not hear-say...I googled the
Pike Pet Pal humane society and The Pike County Board Of Elections..Saying all of that, I am concentrating my
struggle to get to the conclusion on individuals rather than circumstances, if that makes any sense...
