moo think CYA and your on your way!!
Its been way to long at this point for that to be the only logical explaination for all this secrecy, moving crime scene homes at taxpayer expense (totally obserd!) and breaking laws regarding release of public information!!
An awesome review of the laws they are breaking (!) by not releasing anything this far out There are all sorts of referances, in link below, to all the MSM requests that they comply with laws regarding release .

Their first round of BS was we cant release anything cause of an "active" investigation. They have changed this to....
two offices cited security concerns as the reason for their refusal to disclose the autopsy records of the Rhoden family, the Dispatch reported Tuesday.
Wouldn't one have more security concerns the month after - as opposed to half a year?
We have a witness protection program - if "security" is ones concern........
I would also think , as a result of the economic climate in that area, folks would be more than willing to enter such a program- financial burdens would vanish.
our ability to judge the credibility of information coming in
anyone know if they ever set up an annoymous crime line - last I heard no - so exactly what is all this information that is flooding in, this week!! It was silent since it happened, and he wants us to beleive they are still being flooded with info. Makes no sense, imo, at all.
Look at all the nuance we get after far more complicated cases than this
In a tiny community where everyone knows everyone elses stuff. Noone can engage in illigal activities in isolation - you would have noone buying drugs, watching your

fights, coming in for car repairs etc etc.
Its a financially struggling area, dealing is a source of income - imo lots of people in the area know exactly what happened, and the folks who did it, and why they did it , while also knowing they had better not say a thing to anyone - or their family could be next, moo
Just ask yourself, what entity could keep an entire community silent for half a year??
Its a mass murder - why have federal folks NEVER been involved. Apparently, they have to be asked to do so. So it would be a logical conclusion that they never asked. Its identical to refusing to ask for a second opinion after a cancer diagnosis. All behavior has meaning IMO.
They never asked for the best in the business after calling in 824 members of LE - again totally incongruent.
What motivation does anyone have for keeping everything in "house".
