Bored and frustrated, like most everyone else here...

Has anyone else noticed what HR's FB address is? The one where she has her profile picture with CH and of her pregnant? Was she and JW ever married? Also, while doing some searching, I ran across the photo of her taken in the hospital after the baby was born in April. It looks like she has an engagement ring on.

If this is the picture I am thinking of, you can look closely at the reflection area in the upper right of that picture and see the young man standing next to her hospital bed.

I'll have to try to find it again. I thought I remembered there being a young man in the picture the first time I saw it. But, last night, I didn't see the man... like the photo had been cropped.

Ack... nevermind, there are two different pics. One of her with just the baby and one with the toddler and the baby.

I agree it won't be solved but that fault lies with the absolute total ineptness of the Boulder, CO authorities in handling the crime scene.

Remind me again though, with that ransom note, with international implications, the FBI did not step in? Sorry on this. Know it's the wrong forum...just where my mind's been lately. But, to bring it back here. The FBI did consult on the Rhoden case?

Here is a video that was released earlier this week Sept 13.

In the video Dewine confirms it was CSR running commercial operations (2:59) and that the crime scenes were moved for a potential future jury (5:55).

Pastor Fulton talks about BJM and what she has been going through. He also states he believes someone in Pike or Adams county was an inside track for the perps giving them info on the ins and outs so they could come in and do the job.

Fulton also states there is no doubt this was over the drugs, however Dewine still didn't confirm it as the motive.

AG continues to ask for any information even if its 2nd or 3rd hand information.

Did I just hear Rich Jaffey report that all but one shot execution style in the head? Wasn't all shot in the head some way?

Yes, all were shot in the head, Chris is the only person shot someplace other than the head. He had two shots to the head and seven shots to the torso and one extremity.

In thread 17, there are alot of links to different SM things she was involved in.

It's almost like they were trying to send a message with that.

But in what way I wonder? They have never reported anything like that before. It was all killed execution style.

I felt like things didn't go as planned at CR1's and they walked in on him (or woke him up), and he was up and coming down the hall. It was dark, so they just started firing on him til he dropped, then did the obligatory double-tap to the head, like they did to the rest. The head shots to me are more of sign of making quick, killing shots, two to be certain, and then getting out of the house.

What I meant by Brown and Goldman, was that they too mishandled the crime scene, and obviously didn't have their ducks in a row at trial time, imo, b/c the murderer walked. With the Jonbenet case, I agree, they did not secure the crime scene. Also, just for the record, I have a basement. If one of my children had gone missing? I'd have scoured every inch of this house, including the basement. First, thinking, that they were just hiding somewhere in the house. Mine have done that. The grandkids have too.

Just to clarify, I don't think moving the crime scenes of the Rhoden murders "secured" them. Quite the opposite...regardless of what DeWine has said. One of the reasons I think the Jonbenet murder has continued to be discussed is because it stayed where it was. Investgators could return to it for photos and comparison of photos. I think the Boulder PD did bungle on securing the scene, but I also think no one (higher up in LE) gave a rat's A about that. All distraction from the real situation/motives.

Oh dear, you maybe shouldn't have sent me to thread 17. Has the following been cleared up? Was this just bad reporting on one news outlet?

"That's where she saw Gary Rhoden, 38, lying on his back. Dead. Just up from his body, she saw a bloodied Chris Rhoden, also on his back. He was dead, as well."

"That's where she saw Gary Rhoden, 38, lying on his stomach. Dead. Just up from his body, she saw a bloodied Chris Rhoden, also on his stomach. He was dead, as well."

You have an excellent 'eye'. If that discrepancy was discussed before I missed it, but I did notice that both articles have the same byline, Chris Graves. She is the reporter who interviewed BJM. The articles are dated May 12 (on their stomachs) and May 20 ( on their backs). My guess is that CG realized she'd made a mistake and corrected it. MOO

I think in one of the early reports it was cleared up that they were both on their backs. I'm not for certain, it might have been Gary's dad.

Welcome to the confusion of this crime! Trying to find out which report, article, news feed of any kind and rumors are true. I feel like a dog chasing it's own tail sometimes! lol

BBM

I don't know if the choice to move the homes was right, or wrong, but they were in uncharted territory, and I think that they did what they felt was right.

Yes. It was clarified. I'd have to dig through my links but the site that originally published the interview with her, went back and updated it. It has an updated date/time. I think it was the former.

It just stands out to me as more personal than the others... as if he said or did something that the killer wanted to send a message to others about. Idk..just a thought.

Maybe CRsr had a weapon and was firing at intruders. There was a shootout. Semis can unload fast.
