Josh is Brady's son? Anybody know when or why he was arrested? I feel like I've missed something here!
And shrink wrapping those homes is the stupidest thing I have ever heard of! Does nobody in CHG realize shrink wrapping is going to cause sweating and faster decomposition of evidence in homes? Unless they are in a building with controlled temps, they are screwed. I've been trying to make sense of that since AG Mike first mentioned that months back. Even tho building material is not alive, it still has to have air flow.

P.S. I don't think I would have much faith in Charlie's statement about not being concerned about being held on chgs unrelated to the murders. He said he would be talking to the CA or DA about other chgs not being filed.(Not a direct quote). Was what I read with last article posted. Think its the one with the interview, but I haven't had a chance to watch yet.

Although evidence in this case was discovered over the course of the ongoing investigation into last year's killings of eight members of the Rhoden family, this case is unrelated to the homicides. Authorities continue to request that anyone with information on the ongoing homicide investigation call 1-855-BCI-OHIO (224-6446) or the Pike County Sheriff's Office at 740-947-2111.

I think that this fella is Clarence's nephew (Clarence's youngest brother's, DR, son)

I'm confused about the lost wages. Were these wages that he lost from a job he was employed at? I never knew that a relative could claim lost wages for attending to anything related to a death.

.
If it's who I think you are talking about, he's a truck driver and a spouse of a family member. I'd say that he may have been off the road for a period of time helping his family. Just a guess.

Can you (or anyone) provide a time stamp or a quick overview of the reference to shrink warp?

It would be much appreciated as I don't have 40 minutes to listen to the whole interview today. Thanks for posting it; I'll try to find time later.

I just watched it. It's right when they start talking about the security of the warehouse. I'm sorry that I can't give you a time stamp but I remember the reporter asking about them using shrink wrap to secure the stored trailers and Sheriff Reader could not confirm or deny it -- but he goes on to say that they've continually "thought outside the box" and went off script with alot of the procedures and prossesses with this case.

Thanks. I skipped around and stumbled on it--forgot to note the time though.

Sure made it sound like they did shrink wrap the mobile homes. As someone mentioned upstream shrink wrap makes no sense.

I just watched the Sheriff Reader extended Interview again and I totally forgot about this piece of evidence left in CRsr trailer. I guess Channel 19 got the invoice from the storage company and it specifically mentions a piece of evidence -- one That sherif reader said should have been redacted but is "there for anyone to see".

I remember alot of theories as to what that piece of evidence was. Did we ever find out? Is that document available to the public somewhere?

Possibly trying to get a point across w/o specifically saying it.

re: statement of KR2 regarding missing gun

Please expand if you can. It could explain the use of the word "wonders"

I am revisiting the statements of each witness. Here is a story quoting Chelsea R.

I've learned from it:

1) Her mother initially disapproved of FR

2) Chelsea R and FR were young parents* and immature. My guess is they probably fought occasionnally.

3) Chelsea R worked at BBL and likely knew all of the family very well

4) Chelsea R explained the reason for dropping "B" late on April 21. I tend to believe her but I wonder if it's the real reason. Is it possible FR insisted she does or the opposite? Did they fight over it? We won't know.

5) on April 22,* she made the 45 minutes drive from Portsmouth in 20 minutes. I first thought it was odd. But I tend to believe her. She left her work at the doctor office and that can probably be verified.

6) I don't know what was Chelsea R's relation with HG. I haven't found anything.

In the same story :

Chelsea and Frankie stayed together about two years after Brentley's birth but they were practically babies themselves. In November 2014, they split.

.......

She dropped Brentley off at the Union Hill Road trailer Thursday night, and says she visited until maybe about 10:30 p.m.: "I told Brentley and all of them same thing as always: 'Love you guys. Be careful.'"

Chelsea R and FR split in Nov 2014 then he started to date HG in dec 2014, and HG gave birth to "R" in october 2015.

FR and HG moved quickly. I don't know how I would have felt if I were his ex-girlfriend. I am not sure I would say "love you guys" very often. But that's just me.

bbm, Makes sense if they did, If it's the shrink wrap I'm thinking of it's the white shrink wrap that is used on boats, it would insure that the trailers & camper did not get entered or polluted with foreign material. jmo

Kendra R. could be wrong. AG & LE could be wrong too when they say perps were familiar with the victims. But I think there is a simpler explanation.

It's likely the dog barked and woke up KR. It would be hard for a shooter to have a clean shot through the window, in the dark,* with the dog barking, KR aware and armed. It's more likely KR let in the perp he trusted, remain around his bed, and was hit by a precise shot at close range.

How would Kendra R know about the missing gun, the eye wound and the assumption her father trusted her assaillant?

If LE believed he was killed by someone he knew, they would interview people who are very close to him. I would speculate she learned this in an interview. Otherwise I am not sure LE would have shared this information with her.

Why did she feel the need to share it? I don't know.

bbm

I walked up to the foot of the bed, I raised my head up and I looked. I saw blood in his eyes, and I knew then he was dead."

http://www.wlwt.com/article/cousin-...ounts-grisly-discovery-at-crime-scene/3565187

In a camper like Kenneth's there is a top bunk, (bed) usually double, I grew up camping and we had one, Donald said he looked up so that tells me that Kenneth was in the bed, (top bunk. I have a hard time thinking that you would let someone in and get back in bed, (top bunk). That is why I think he could have been shot through the window. There is normally at least two windows in the top bunk area, one small one on each side, head and feet area.

It's not hard or impossible for a bullet to go though glass, and IIRC the weather good that evening, so it's possible/and even probable that the window were open in the top bunk area. jmo

www.whio.com/news/breaking-news/pike-county-murder-investigation-leads-drug-arrests/26estht2OpaZnua On this site larger pictures and they lived on Grassy Fork Rd. Peebles. RSD, isn't that one of those back roads not to far away from Left fork rd. and UHR? I know you don't live there any more but maybe your memory is better than mine.

.
I personally have not lived there. I have been through there and it is a bit similar to the Appalachian area I'm from. The Grassy Fork Rod is not far at all from UHR and LF. I was going to mosey through UHR last trip up but got a bad vibe and just drove past the cut off to the road. It's pretty quiet and vacant in that stretch of hwy. I don't think that they'd have been seen in the dark of night, or if they were, no one noticed.

"Be careful"

Seems like an odd thing to say when leaving someone's home. I usually say that to someone who is about to travel or enter into a questionable situation.

Idk.
We say that interchangeably here. It's kind of like, ya'll take it easy, Gotta run, ya'll be careful Especially if I was leaving my child behind. Just a reminder to take care of my pride and joy.
