I wondered if that part about money was true, was it part of a much larger sum and part of it was dropped? Or maybe they felt the smaller bills weren't worth taking. Then it could also be saying, you wanted to make some extra money, here you go...

I've always thought it was either a message from someone who KR and/or CR was blackmailing (something related to illegal activity/drug trade) or a message from someone who owed them money or vice versa.

.
Is this it?

That's one of them. I don't know if it's the same interview that I'm thinking of. I'm almost positive I viewed one where the two of them, SR and KR, were sitting side by side, closer than in this video.

Jk, the 🤬🤬🤬 money was raised the first three days after the murders. Plus, Chris, Gary, and Kenny didn't receive any state funds for their final expenses. So, that money should have been divided between the three bills for them. As somebody stated a while back, the money should have been sent directly to the funeral home(s), therefore no conflict would have ever developed. That's my feelings about the situation, anyway. The 🤬🤬🤬 money was there months before the state announced they were covering the majority of the expenses.

What if this case was not related to drugs or other criminal activity? What would the money mean?

The problem with the money is that it was never confirmed that there was money present. It is difficult to speculate why when if is not known for sure.

What if Kenneth was counting money and was shot with the money in his hands? I don't think that DS would lie/make up the money story but somethings that can't be answered are all but impossible to explain. jmo

I've wondered at times if KR had a prostitute in his trailer that night who was involved in these murders, or someone posing as a prostitute. If there was money scattered around him, I feel like it was thrown back at him after he was shot. Like he had paid someone for something and they tossed it back after killing him. Something about this just makes me think a woman was involved.

I'm new on this site,<modsnip> i feel i can shed some light on a few things.. <modsnip>. Also i'm not aware of the locks on DR's house or FR, but as stated by a few of you before, kenneths house used a padlock, he didn't feel the need to fix the broken lock and would state "I sleep with my gun, and have a mean dog, i dare someone to try something stupid." As for CR's a few people (i.e Bobbie Jo) who worked for them knew there was a key that sat above the door frame. It's not uncommon for people around here to leave our doors unlocked though, usually our neighbors know when we're home or not, or if anything looks suspicious. hmm there are just So many statements on here I'm not sure where to begin.. I'll start by saying they were All good, helpful friends/ people, who all worked hard and are missed dearly. I guess it would be easier for me to just let you all ask questions and go from there so.. ?

Counting money in bed? He was likely sleeping or lying in bed when killed.

If we combine:

1) "Was in some money relation with KR"

With

2) "Knew KR's dog"

Does it narrow it down?

Welcome to Websleuths 1ofthefew. Our rules are pretty tight here. So that we don't end up chasing unfounded rumor and speculation too far down the rabbit hole we must base our theories on the facts as we know them. Rumors are discouraged and links to back up what is being said are required for that reason .

Thank you for joining us. You indicate you have some inside knowledge about the family, their habits and that you have been very close to the family. First of all please accept my sincere condolences on the tragic losses the family suffered.

Anything that doesn't come from news reports that you can share about the family, their habits, the circumstances around them is considered "insider" info. I urge you to read the information located at this link: http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sh...n-Process-for-Professional-or-Insider-Posters and become a verified insider.

Verified insiders (VIs) are allowed to provide information that may not be available from media or law enforcement. VIs do not have to provide links to back up what they are relaying. Members are allowed to believe as much or as little of what the insider posts about the case.

Again, Welcome and please know Websleuths members are very interested in seeing this case solved and seeing justice for the family and the community.

I have pretty much believed what you have said about the family and how they would help/be there for their family and close friends.

they didn't just help those close to them, pretty much anyone (family or not) they'd give you the shirt off their back and offer to buy you one for yourself. (especially KR) he'd say "its just money, i'll make more, and what am I 'posed to do with it, can't take it with me"

Welcome to our thread. Please extend my sympathies to friends and family of the Rhoden, Gilley and Manley Families.

Everyday I ask myself if I should be here and then I remember the statement of the Sheriff. It keeps me here:

With the amount of personnel and resources we have committed to this case since April, I have no doubt that, had we been given truthful and accurate information from those who are closest to our victims, we would have had it solved by now,

I hold no truth and I have no way of saying who says the truth or who doesn’t. It's a family killing.* I tend to believe law enforcement and be careful with any statement from anyone else. Verified insiders or not.

I havent been able to figure out how true that statement was, but it does raise a lot of questions.. I know KR had plenty of his own money and no problems with paying off any debts though. they had lots of friends who would help with that too so it puzzles me (If it were true)
