A mechanic (ex) back in the day, could roll back the odometer. But I don't know if you can on newer cars/trucks, they have computer's now. But it's easy enough to have a diagnostic machine or your one now. Since all the Rhonden's. Wagners , Manley's worked in the car business, bet one of them knew how.Js
Oh absolutely. I was thinking it was stuck that way for a long time though. If the Ms had any part in the hand off of the vehicle, and wanted the odometer to stay the same, I'm sure that they could roll it back on an old vehicle like that. My husband is kind of a shadetree mechanic, does a lot of his own work, and it's not difficult on old vehicles. On a new one, it's more difficult and he'd not be able to do that (not that he would). I remember hearing in the recent podcast about JM/the Ms, being mechanically gifted.
That 22k jump in mileage is still puzzling though.
