why do krooks off each other?
1. other krook has means, motive or is being squezzed to rat on them.
2. they were burned
3. their ego or position was disregarded.

The sheriff seemed pretty straight forward IMO. I don't think he was lying. JMO
Oh it wasn't true, the Rhodens had tons of interactions with the local sheriff's department.

Does anyone have address/coordinates to the Left Fork location that are accurate for google maps?

Try these, they should be close.

i really believe the main problem for the killers was not dogs or guns. the problem was getting into the residences without making undue noise and quickly.

Yes. So can we finally chuck the motorcycle angle? Any vehicle would be heard by anyone not in rem sleep. Sound carries. JMO

Let me ask a question. The AG called this a 'sophisticated operation" and a "pre-planned execution".

If you were planning this murder, what steps would you take that would cause it to be considered 'sophisticated'.

These are just the ones I thought of off of the top of my head and are pure speculation on my part, not facts in the case or anything.

1) Came prepared to deal with the dogs, either through use of pepper spray or meat.
2) Used bleach to splatter the scene
3) Picked up shell casings.
4) wore gloves
5) broomed out tire tracks
6) removed cameras

Feel free to add to the list.

Enough people to control the situation.

I'm not sure all these things were done.

ETA: Wear something to make sure I didn't drop fibers or hair or get blood splatter on me.

Wear hazmat type suit... also frequently used when spray painting cars.

KR lived like 6 miles away on Left Fork Road, not Union Hill.

Oh I know, but Left Fork is where the big red garage is located right, or is that where Dana lived on Union Hill? I just assumed it was Kenneth's, at the beginning media was showing that place as the crimescene called in by DS, so that's what stuck in my head.

I'm wondering if they have the answer....just waiting for that last test result for confirmation?
Just a matter of time, someone will slip up on something and let something out....

I have still another theory on this being a inside job.

Here goes my theory. Perhaps a relative or neighbor was a mole. This person could have feigned a friendship/romantic bond. The mole became a confidant to the family member. Perhaps the lure of some quick cash in exchange for harmless intelligence gathering was sufficent motivation.

Perhaps the mole was duped. The mole thought they were gathering intelligence for a competitor to sabotage or move in on the Rhode's pot operation. When in reality the perps sought to irradicate the entire family.

Up until earlier after I read DS account of KR living in a camper I assumed he lived in the mobile home next to the big red garage. So was the camper further back in behind there or to the left or right of the red garage? I can't see it on the google map. Can someone tell me where it is in relation to this photo, please?

KR lived approx 6-8 miles from Dana (red roof)

I agree. Plus wasn't it said in an article that he was found dead in his bed with one gunshot wound to the head? Wouldn't that tell us he was still asleep when he was murdered?

I believe it was that DS "looked up" and saw he was dead, due to his living quarters, we've assumed he was in a loft like bed, hence the "looking up", I'm not sure it was confirmed he was in fact one in bed, but I believe that's what we've speculated and seems the most plausible.

I just go so lost - how could a family system get arrested 28 times (wahtever the numver) for no tags no reg - it aint that hard to do, aint that expensive, and last a year or two. Its a heck of a lot cheaper to do it . There has got to be a reason why the whole group keeps getting arrested for driving around in vehicles with no tag no registrati

Just not that difficult an issue to solve , unless they are all different vehicles open for any notions

IMO pretty easy to see what is going on........................
What is going on?

I wouldn't say we could rule out a motorcycle. True, they'd have likely heard any vehicle, but none of them are alive to tell us what they did or didn't hear. Even if they did hear something, it could have been someone they knew and let in. Or they simply might not have had enough time or the opportunity to keep them out. Since we don't know what happened I don't see how we can rule anything out yet. MOO.

Because these things are silly. You buy diapers before renewing your tag and registration.

They also had salvage vehicles and driving one into town might not be a big issue for them. These things are low on the priority list for people that were poor.

No where near there and it was an actual camper, similar to this.

Well, so all week I've been thinking that red garage was property Kenneth lived on. SMH I knew he lived in a camper, and it didn't make sense to me he was living in it, instead of the mobile home.

Yep. He has a clipboard and keeps track of things. He took me down there one day to show me how it all works. I must say it was very interesting. As in something I might have written a report on in school. The one drawback IMO is that the whole house smelled like the weed. That's why I chuckled at all of the relatives who were saying they had no idea about any drugs. That is IF they were growing them in any of the houses. Moo.

Oh yeah. There's no way close friends/family didn't know about the weed. The smell of pot is way too potent. But from what I hear about small towns, and family is that they usually cover for each other. It doesn't necessarily mean they're guilty of anything- except for lying about the pot. It's possible they're afraid for their own lives though and could be why they're keeping quiet.

IIRC, some of those traffic were drug related.

His department dealt with them, they weren't asking about the Sheriff specifically, but the department.

I've never seen a drug charge coded as traffic anywhere in the state of Ohio. I'll look back through them and see.
How on earth would he be expected to know a department he's run for less than a year charged someone with a crime 16 years ago?
