I have still another theory on this being a inside job.

Here goes my theory. Perhaps a relative or neighbor was a mole. This person could have feigned a friendship/romantic bond. The mole became a confidant to the family member. Perhaps the lure of some quick cash in exchange for harmless intelligence gathering was sufficent motivation.

Perhaps the mole was duped. The mole thought they were gathering intelligence for a competitor to sabotage or move in on the Rhode's pot operation. When in reality the perps sought to irradicate the entire family.
:cow:

I have not forgotten about BJ and and the 911 call, nor have I forgotten about DS, and his 911 call and subsequent paid interview. Both are weird calls, and both are 911'ers. JMO

No.. That is Chris's property and Frankie's is close. Kenny lived on a little clearing with another smaller 5th wheel near.

This is where Dana lived, correct? Hence Dana's property having the big red garage. I realize this is actually CRsr's property, but she was occupying it?

I think they're just waiting for DNA test results to come back from the BCI crime lab. I will bet you all a fifth wheel trailer, a coon hound, a fighting 🤬🤬🤬🤬, and a derby car that there is an arrest within two weeks.

After doing a lot of reading, this morning I have a totally new suspect. It is somebody we have all discussed at length before. I don't think I am allowed to say who, but it is somebody who had a lot of discrepancies in his stories and looks not very sad in his interviews on camera.

BUT it is such a enmeshed family system it would make sense that eveyones DNA is already all over everyones house !!!

Right but not with that particular sheriff. It was another Reader. His father maybe? He may have not went into detail but he said he personally had not dealt with the Rhoden's. At least that's what I remember from watching the presser.

Deputy Brian Reader(who is the arresting officer in many of the Rhoden vehicle stops) is Sheriff Charles Reader's Uncle if I'm not mistaken. Not sure where I read that, but it was early in the case.

I just go so lost - how could a family system get arrested 28 times (wahtever the numver) for no tags no reg - it aint that hard to do, aint that expensive, and last a year or two. Its a heck of a lot cheaper to do it . There has got to be a reason why the whole group keeps getting arrested for driving around in vehicles with no tag no registrati

Just not that difficult an issue to solve , unless they are all different vehicles open for any notions

IMO pretty easy to see what is going on........................
Failure to display could also be no front plates. Ohio requires front and back. Some counties show that charge as failure to display, some show no front plate.

Do you really think they were poor? Serious question, as I'm just not seeing that.
ETA: I know a few families that don't register, don't keep insurance on their vehicles, etc. They're not poor by any means, they're just a bit rebellious and think they're above the law.
My granny had a shoe store, my grandaddy spent a lot of money on the farm. They might have money this week, but none next. They were what you would call dirt poor.

Look at the trailer Frankie lived in, old and blue tarps to keep out the rain. They got by, they had a home and food. That is the difference in being poor in the country and in the city. You can be poor in the country and have food on the table, a house and what you need.

Pot or cash? I think the second answer is the most likely. Now who would have the expertise with stealth, experience with dog handling and need for money to get the hell out of dodge that quickly? Who has reasons to cover for that person? Big reasons? All for one reasons to turn the other eye and let the big guns figure it out... By that time the perp is getting drunk in Costa Rica. Sorry, I'm starting to write a novel in my head - and whether I'm right or wrong, it's within the realm of possibility. I need to talk to someone who lives there to verify whether my speculation has any credibility...

Their urban response time isn't "fast" either. You aren't likely to get to call and if you do, it takes two seconds to kill you.

Also the Supreme Court ruled that police do not have to protect citizens.

We agree! It is this notion that I have to sleep with an arsonal by bedside cause I am out in the country - when in fact the reality, probably , the reality is us urbinites should be sleeping with grendades near our bed cause our LE is dealing with 27 gunshots an hour. So your resonse time might actually be better ha !!

That isn't Dana's property..

What?? are you saying Dana didn't live at
3122 union hill road? And there is no red roof garage on her property?

Perhaps not criminal offenses involving Charlie reader? He WAS careful about how he answered the question. JMO
They weren't asking about the Sheriff, they were asking about the Sheriff's department.

People grow hydro inside. It's a different way of growing. Much better quality typically, if you do it correctly that is.

From the images that have been released is that inside stuff or outside stuff ??

Just weird (to me) that the Piketon County Sheriff's website has be down in "Maintenance mode" all day today. It was down for maintenance just a day or three ago also.

Cause you know he checked all that before he did the presser.

I saw on one thread when someone looked up specifics on many of them, it was listed as traffic but included drugs.

I just found those, it's pretty weird to code it that way. Never seen it before. It wasn't one of the victims, though.
Also, I had included 3 charges that actually weren't a victim...got an initial wrong.

Here's a link to an early post by lonesomepaws that shows google maps of each location, along with initials of the family members killed there. It also includes google map routes of all the locations. Hope this helps. The link can also be found in the Media & Timelines thread.

ETA: the location with the red barn is Dana's home. She, Hanna & Chris, Jr. were sadly killed there.

I've never seen a drug charge coded as traffic anywhere in the state of Ohio. I'll look back through them and see.
How on earth would he be expected to know a department he's run for less than a year charged someone with a crime 16 years ago?

I couldn't find anything showing drug-related under the traffic.

That isn't what press was asking.

Press was asking if these people had run ins with the law.

My understanding was that it was both. 200 found inside at one location and an undisclosed amount found outside at another site and and undisclosed amount that was not said inside or outside at a third.

To me, the stage of the plants will be more telling than rather they were inside. If they were all small, then they were mostly intended for an outdoor summer grow.

Hate to tell you but OMC members very rarely carry out an operation on their bikes, they do own cars & use them. They are also known to travel by foot if that is what is called for. I overheard my BIL talking a few years ago about trekking through a forest & a swamp by foot to take possession of something from a rival in another state. I quickly exited the room so I couldn't hear anything else said.
That's my thought. Reminds me of the Steven Avery case. The way they lived and their personal appearances made them look poor. However...garages with hydraulic lifts, tow trucks, huge garages, etc. aren't bought by people having a hard time buying the necessities. Or what you (General you) and I might call necessities.
Heck, my household makes a decent income and we can't afford to put up a pole barn though we'd love to. What a family spends money on is almost always a matter of priorities. IMO.

I know she moved into the mobile home a few weeks before this happened on Union Hill, and it's Chris' property. I knew Kenneth lived in a camper, but I think the confusion of which place was her's is because the media kept showing the red garage property as the place Stone made the 2nd 911 call. That's why alot of people thought the red barn location was Left Fork. I guess because they didn't have the location of the camper yet. That's what I've thought all this time until seeing this camper someone posted earlier here.

I think the mobile homes gave the appearance of being poor, but looking at the big red garage, the big building at Chris', the nice campers at Kenneths, the nice vehicles, all the animals to feed, and all the property, no they weren't poor.
My grandfather's barn was a castle compared to the house.

The barn helped bring in money, the house didn't.
