(Oct. 17, 2017, Conneaut) – for *Kelsie Marie Blankenship (23/now 25) “mom” arrested & charged (10/19/18) & arraigned (10/23/18) with 2 counts of felony murder, 1 count of 2nd degree felonious assault, 2 counts of 2nd degree endangering children, 1 count of 3rd degree endangering children & 1 count of 1st degree misdemeanor domestic violence. $250K bond.
Trial was set to begin on 5/18/20-continued due to COVID to 2/9/21 & continued with no further dates; took plea deal.
1/7/21: Motion for continuance filed. 1/11/21: Judgement re plaintiff’s motion for continuance-granted. Defense does not object. Next status conference hearing on 2/17/21. 2/11/21: Hearing notice for plea/sentencing hearing 3/2/21 @ 9am before Judge Marianne Sezon.

Kelsie Marie Blankenship, of Conneaut, pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter, a first-degree felony, and child endangerment, a third-degree felony, as part of a stipulated plea and sentencing agreement, according to the Ashtabula County Prosecutor’s Office.

Blankenship was sentenced to 6 years in prison as part of a plea agreement following the death of Sereniti Jazzlynn-Sky Sutley, according to authorities.
