OH OH - Shasta Himelrick, 20, pregnant, Richmond Dale, 26 Dec 2014

  • #421
"Gabis said he found no signs of "pre-mortem trauma," but did find nonfatal levels of cocaine and oxycodone in Himelrick's system."

"They told us they haven't closed it yet," she said. "They said they are still following up on some things."

"Shasta Himelrick's friends believe authorities might be trying to determine if her case is connected to several other women from Chillicothe who have disappeared or turned up dead in the past year."

That article has a wealth of information in it. ( http://huff.to/1KF2f1A)

That text message to her bf probably reveals partially what was going on in her head, imo.

IF she really did kill herself it seems relapse (oxycontin and cocaine) while pregnant could have been a possible reason. HOWEVER until LE knows for sure the death isn't connected to all these other missing women in this town I personally won't be convinced.

The missing persons report says she was last seen wearing a pink sweatshirt with black or grey sweatpants. The gas station video shows her in a pink sweatshirt with grey sweatpants.

The autopsy report says she was wearing "green pants, black shorts, black bra, red shirt, underwear, and a green tshirt."

Autopsy report also says she was in full rigor mortis. Would that be normal for a death on December 26 and an autopsy on January 3rd?

Well that is a HUGE discrepancy isn't it

I was wondering the same thing.

It was late December and she wasn't wearing a coat or jacket in the gas station video. Maybe she put the pink sweatshirt and grey sweatpants on on top of the rest? Still where is the pink sweatshirt and grey sweatpants now?

In a high state someone could have gently nudged her to suicide. I've seen it happen in my career. Just thinking.

Not sure how the ME might term it, but am thinking it might be cadaveric spasm. CS (sometimes called 'instantaneous rigor') is a form of rigor, but unlike rigor, it doesn't resolve until the body and/or affected limbs reach putrefaction stage.

Has the bf made any public statements? Did he post anything in social media about having a baby on the way? Does he have an alibi for Christmas night?
Just curious. It is really bad luck to have two girlfriends in a row die.

Police Investigate Possible Connection Between Several Missing Women
June 9th 2015: http://www.nbcnews.com/feature/miss...nection-between-several-missing-women-n371821

It's been more than two years since Megan Lancaster's family has seen her, and now police in central Ohio are investigating a possible link between her case and several other women who have gone missing.

"We've had other family members scream at us, 'She's gone. She's dead. Get over it, go on.' And we can't. We have to know what happened to her. We want to put a rest to this. Not just her, to all of these missing women," Kadie Lancaster, Megan's siser-in-law, told 10TV.
