Good point. Hadn't thought they were a donation coolers, although that surprises me in that I thought the road was blocked off and there was an officer at the property not allowing people near the property. But I choose to go with donations. :/

People were dropping off the coolers at the fire stations and they were transported to the scene. There were many FB posts instructing people where to take donations.
The local stores were completely sold out of coolers because people were buying them to donate.

And unfortunately, this is how the rumor mill gets to churning. I'm sure there are civilian employees around who could take care of that.

It's a pretty jarring picture, regardless :(
To our community it isn't because we know that people were extremely generous.

That's not what I was getting at by the "jarring" part by any means. Your community is amazing.

I got what you meant. My point was that the coolers weren't a jarring image to us because we know they were community donations.

So, I was tied up with legitimate work today, but two things - on which I hope Foxfire weighs ...

1) As most states are in precarious tax payment situations, does it really make much sense, from a strictly financial standpoint, to pursue a death penalty case? If they can prove that there's a circumstance that "enlarges" the case to the federal level where the death penalty still carries out on a occasion, that would make more sense to me. Otherwise, it's simply principle, and the ultimate punishment is the same: life without parole. No death penalty is ever carried out. Death penalty cases are expensive (not saying he doesn't certainly deserve it, speaking solely from a numbers standpoint).

2) Digging into my "psychological" file - moving with an assumption that JDW lies dormant for years after prison bids 1 & 2: does Sierah die because he felt emasculated when RG "got away?" What are the odds that this guy has had serious issues with women - beginning with his mother?

Excellent post whimdriven, imo. You are preaching to the choir as far as your perspective on the death penalty. Although I would give the injection myself if asked, the only advantage of the death penalty is to use as a negotiation tool by procecutors with these nonhuman creatures for unknown victims or victim locations. A DP inmate gets many perks that the general population of a prison doesn't; notoriety, field trips to appeals court for decades, private cells, extra security, etc. The list is long and seldom is the executions carried out. Many, if not most death row inmates die of natural causes while waiting. Serial killer Richard Ramirez; night stalker<CA> died last year on death row. A FL death row inmate executed last year was on death row for 33 years..

Yes, whimdriven, an overbearing mother, stepmother, or grandmother will likely be revealed, imo. Imo, JDW was an active sexual predator since adolescence. Most killers are caught when the first begin killing. After a couple of kills, if not apprehended, these recidivist predators gain confidence while beginning to hone their skills, and establish their rules of prey to evade detection.
Due to the increase in investigative resources, public awareness, advancements in CSI, forensics technology, law enforcement, training, databases, etc. Most killers do not make it to serial killer status in the 21st century.before they are identified and brought to justice.

Honestly I was almost hoping it was a human trafficing case because then at least she could be recovered. :(.

IDK, maybe it's his standard. Maybe not, but I do know that he arrived and led/is leading the Pike County Ohio murders as well.

I just read on WTOL that Dewine AG was in Fulton Cty on Sunday and visited several sites.

Thank you Foxfire, I know very little about serial killers and the making thereof. That they experience some sort of childhood trauma, seems like common sense.

Are you saying that he attacks young women, because he was abused by an overbearing female? I have to think there is more to it, not everyone who is abused becomes a serial killer.

I can't think of any way that he pulled this attack on Sierah off unless he had stalked her. But, it hasn't been discussed, or maybe I missed it, whether she routinely rode her bike -- was it an activity she did regularly? Was it a routine time -- like every Tues and Thur she rode her bike to meet her boyfriend (example)? Or was he stalking not based on her routine, but rather actually a stake out and so he knew she had ridden her bike to somewhere that evening, and was waiting somewhere for whenever he could see her on her return route to home? I am trying to wrap my head around the timing of this. It seems so random from one lens, and from another lens, so calculated -- which we know sex offenders are.
I am unsure if it was a weekly thing that happened. I'm guessing likely not.

<mod snip>

I just was told another person in the area did not feel safe just a few days before. :(

In regards to Jill Behrman...can anyone find out the dates that JDW was in prison? I know it was 2000-2002 or 3. If he was in prison May 2000..he is not good for Behrman case. did google where she was taken and it is lonely, isolated country road. Eerie.

According to DeWine, the Fulton County Sheriff asked for help with the case. BCI agents have helped process the scene and continue to work toward uncovering answers.

Although he could not comment on the specifics on the investigation, he did say the search would be thorough.

"We want to be very, very thorough and to make sure we know everything. And the Sheriff wants to get to the bottom of this and see if there's anything else," he said.

I thought I heard it during the noon news, but I could be mistaken. I will edit my post unless I can find something otherwise. My apologies.

Yes, Ce rode her bike a lot. She was athletic and active 20 year old woman. Of course she always had to eventually ride CR 6 because that is where she lived. The route she took home that night was not one that she had ridden. LE has confirmed that people were out in their yard on 6 and waved at her going by. Did they not see a vehicle after that following her? Or was he coming S on 6...out of Michigan and it was just a crime of opportunity? If he actually stalked her, that would mean he knew that she lived 100 yards away and that would be pretty ballsy. It seems to me he saw her driving back from Mi and just took her. JMO

While we're all waiting to see what comes of 4 days worth of non-stop searching on Worley's property.......:waiting: :waiting: :waiting: :waiting:

Over the weekend I was thinking about loose ends and tidbits of information. We still haven't heard what vehicle Worley was in when this abduction happened. What we did hear, via both law enforcement and some research :

Early on, LE ask ATV riders and dirt bike riders to come forward if they were in the area the day of the abduction.

Worley has a sign in front of his driveway that offers mechanic work on 2, 3, 4, stoke engines. That would cover all dirt bikes, motorcycles, and ATV's.

LE ask in one of their last press conferences for information about a motorcyclist with an open faced helmet.

Sierah's boyfriend rides a motorcycle.

Worley works on motorcycles.

The day Sierah was riding home on her bike, her boyfriend was tailing her on his motorcycle. The cops are looking for yet a different motorcyclist.

Since Worley works on motorcycles, it seems logical that he would have dirt bikes, motorcycles, ATV's for his own personal use.
________________________________________________________

If you take the above information and try to fit it together like a jigsaw puzzle, there should be some kind of picture that emerges of how Worley became aware of Sierah, and also how and why he abducted her. I definitely think there are pieces of the puzzle missing however. For instance, was Worley out testing riding an atv that afternoon, and he had a pickup and trailer parked somewhere nearby ? Since just about everybody in this forum is smarter than me, I'll leave it up to others to make all the pieces of the puzzle fit.

That's a big part of the mystery surrounding this, why her and how did he do it ? Tuesday afternoon, broad daylight.

IIRC ted Bundy had said in a book that the 'urge' got stronger and stronger to hunt and murder young girls that all looked the same. Long hair pared in the middle, white except his last little girl was only 12................should we be looking to see if the unsolved looked alike> same age? blonde? white? athletic?

What?? After he got out of prison he did it again right away? Or is this a typo and refers to the 1990 incident?
