When I do an assessment for the drug rehab I work at I have to word things like that.

It is very weird, to read something written by someone so clearly seriously disturbed, and want to laugh at how absurd it is, and curl up in the corner shivering at the same time.

He is absolutely terrifying and ridiculous at once.

All I can do is picture him, currently incarcerated, and NOT SHUTTING UP.

"I would never have killed Sierah. One time I was a bank robber, and I robbed like 400, 500 banks! But I come from a good honest poor family. My Mom says so. Wait! Come back! Where are you going?"

I agree. Without the latest mortifying information in Sierah's case, he almost seems believable. Let's just pretend that his story in 1990 was accurate, for the most part. Could this event have pushed him over the edge and turned him into a monster seeking revenge?

Thedonna1, I've followed a lot of evolved serial sexual predator/killer cases. I am confident that JDW has many more victims and likely began his deviant behavior at a very young age. Once predators are apprehended and their photos released and the public becomes aware via ms media and social media. Other more fortunate victims of JDW will come forward, imo. Many of these victims may want to keep their harrowing stories of survival private until trial, yet others will share publicly.

It's interesting to me that he seems to think his PSI report is based solely off the incident with RG, when it clearly includes information gleaned from all of his excuses, overelaborations and general blathering.

The ego in his statements to the judge 'as you now know' and the like are astounding.

I have to go to an appointment soon but wanted to comment first.

a. I know we cant sleuth family members - but where was his dad in all of this? His parents divorced because of alcohol, then what?
b. nothing is ever his fault...its the victim, LE, old bosses,
c. he is a storyteller. His 'letter' is almost a novel. Almost like he spent time in jail, crafting the book. My gut is telling me to ignore his 'elaboration' and focus on the thing that he is not talking about.
d. I dont trust he was a big time seller of pot. He just wants himself to look important.
e. there will be mommy issues that go back deep. I wonder what moms relationship with older sister was like vs. what it was like with JWD. Was JDW jealous? Was sister the good child?

I agree. You know the judge had to be reading, and laughing to himself. Silently saying yeah, a-hole. You are staying put for awhile.

Just a general "status" update - I've finished the 2000 case. Notnice is probably sleeping like a rock at this point - and I don't blame her. It's more "interesting" and not really "exciting" ...

As for the 2016 info - I'm currently on page 75 of 165 after getting to listen to a conference call and provide exactly -zero- input for 90 minutes

The memorandum gives an insight into the beginning of why bicycles became something he despised.

The "caught her by the arm" is showing he doesn't want to accept the gravity of what he did to her.

Nothing about how she ended up with injury to her leg. He left out that part.

The handcuffs making the mirror move means they were heavy handcuffs and not cheap plastic handcuffs.

That's exactly what I thought---about handcuffs not being cheap plastic (which is what he stated they were).

I know shemoved away, kind of makes you wonder if she had additional fears from him. I'm curious if she is brunette too. I suspect he likes brunettes.

I truly feel bad for her and her family. She has to drudge back through this awfulness, and likely relive it.

I feel bad for her too. He really tried to make her look like a liar, but I think it was easy to see through all his BS. I do think that she is a brunette.

He wasn't laughing that hard...he was released shortly after. I see by his records that he was sentenced to a min. of 4 years. He got out even earlier than that. Ugh
