Nothing in today's article about sequestration.

The possibility of sequestration was mentioned in this WTOL article from March 6/7. I’m surprised we all missed it.

[FONT=&amp]On the topic of voir dire, court documents show that the jury more then likely will be sequestered in a hotel during deliberation. This means if deliberation takes longer then a day, the jury will not go home at night. They will be transported to a local hotel for the night and brought back to the courthouse every morning until they have reached a verdict. .

JW's bday is in April either 8 or 9. I think the jury will reach a verdict by then. Looks like his days of getting what he wants will be over.

I will be shocked if they do not reach a verdict within 24 hours.

Tuesday, March 19th:
*Trial continues (Day 6) (@ 8:30am ET) - OH - Sierah Catherine Joughin (20) (July 19, 2016) - James Dean Worley (57) indicted on 2 counts each of aggravated murder, abduction & felonious assault; also with having weapons under a disability, aggravated robbery (dismissed), 4 counts of kidnapping, 1 count each of possessing criminal tools, gross abuse of corpse & tampering with evidence. DP case; accused of abduction 26 yrs ago. Trial should last about 4 weeks.
Sierah's BF is nephew of WS member jasrema.

Court regularly starts at 8:30. Every Thursday will be a half day (starting at 1pm) in order for the court to take care of some house keeping things and for jurors to have a little break.
3/16 update: Judge announced there will be no session Monday (3/19) or Thursday (3/22). State should wrap its case Wednesday (3/21) and defense will begin on Friday (3/23) and continue thru the following week of 3/26. Expects jury to begin deliberating the following Monday (4/2).
3/19/18 Update: It's a strong possibility that a verdict may finally be reached next week (3/19-3/23) in the case, The People vs. James Worley. That is because the case is moving along much quicker then originally planned. In fact, it's been moving along so fast that the judge asked jurors to not report on Monday (3/19). The state only has a handful of witnesses left to call and is expected to only need Tuesday and Wednesday to finish presenting their case. Once they are
finished, it'll be the defense's turn to take over. The state started with nearly four dozen witnesses. Friday (3/23) will be the defense's turn to take over. They have a short list of witnesses to call. It's also a possibility that James Worley could take the stand in his own defense. The Honorable Robinson told the jury to expect to begin deliberating next Monday (3/26). It is now a possibility that within one week, there will finally be a conclusion to this case that has been in the works for nearly two year. On the topic of voir dire, court documents show that the jury more then likely will be sequestered in a hotel during deliberation.

I, too, don't think they will be sequestered for long.... Probably not even over night!

Not seeing any tweets so far. Thinking of Sierah and her loved ones.

Good morning! I'm assuming since we only have 2 days left of witnesses that one will be the ME today and could take up a good part of the day.
My heart is with Icat, Jashrema, and all of Sierah's friends and family.
Justice for Sierah! :heartbeat::heartbeat:

#WorleyTrial testimony has resumed. Jury now hearing from Dr. Cynthia Beisser of the Lucas Co. Coroner's Office. Judge Robinson has advised the courtroom this morning's testimony again will be graphic.

I wonder why we can’t watch live coverage. Was it due to possible contamination of the jury? Curious if news stations attempted to fight the decision. I know it would have been too gruesome at times, but it would be so much more helpful to the public if we had video/audio. It is so hard to wait for tiny tidbits, especially since reporters can’t send anything from inside the courtroom.

Also wonder if we might get any video is over.

Nothing new just a video from a reporter from WTOL doing an update on defense strategy.

ICYMI: James Worley defense team's #1 currency for its client facing the death penalty for the kidnapping & murder of Sierah Joughin? Insert doubt so jurors question everything they see & hear-> https://youtu.be/_3Aj31fsexA

Hoping this will pull it all together for the jury. Question, anyone know why the jury was not taken out to the abduction scene, barn and then road 7?

Agree Spellz. The undercover folks appear to be finished with their testimony. Appears no news peeps fought it. Most frustrating relying on random tweets.

We have seen some cases where Jurors go to the crime scene. Some where they didn't. It is a huge undertaking to do this. I think maybe they feel with photos etc. Jurors don't need to see the scene to get a handle on the crime scene. IMO

Onto the state's second witness today, Daniel Davison of the Ohio BCI, who is discussing tire casts taken from the scene. #WorleyTrial

 • #459
I predict that shortly after the jury has a verdict....there will be a Dateline or 20/20 for this story!

Tires from Worley's red pickup truck did not match the casts taken from the scene, tires from his green truck *may have* created the cast impressions, though not those tires exclusively, Davison said. #WorleyTrial
