Tires from Worley's red pickup truck did not match the casts taken from the scene, tires from his green truck *may have* created the cast impressions, though not those tires exclusively, Davison said. #WorleyTrial
This does not necessarily surprise or discourage me. How unique are tires anyways? I buy my tires at a local tire shop....and I'm sure they are the standard Michelin tires for vehicles my size. That piece being inconclusive...I don't think that worries me so long as there is DNA evidence that places him there.
With prosecution resting tomorrow..iirc.. and the news reports saying court dark on Thursday, the judge has said probably go to deliberation on Monday, I don't think they are going to have enough time for an ADDI defense.
Thank goodness.
The CIC has a light at the end of the tunnel. For those in the know, does the sentencing phase follow directly in the state, or is it a few weeks wait? I think I read before it follows immediately.
ETA..ADDI= another dude did it
I'm still wondering how they found 12 jurors in Fulton County that have not been subjected to the news related to this trial.
My spouse was one of the original 200 picked. They questioned everyone on what they knew, could they only focus on the evidence presented to them during the trial, and how they felt about the death penalty.I'm still wondering how they found 12 jurors in Fulton County that have not been subjected to the news related to this trial.

The People vs. James Worley: coroner tells the jury Sierah Jougin’s cause of death was asphyxia after a ball gag did not allow her to breath. The jury also learned Jougin was not sexually assaulted @WTOL11Toledo
Every time I have heard this it just breaks my heart so badly. Most people can breathe through their nose, if they can't through their mouth, unless they are crying and have mucus and cannot breathe through their nose. Or unless they were hog-tied and put in an underground freezer & could not breathe at all.
:rose: :rose:
I think the jurors will understand it all. And even with 17 charges, I would think it would take only a few hours and there will be no overnight sequestration for the verdict.

That would really make me even more angry.
I think it was more that they found jurors who said they could be objective and judge the case on the evidence presented. I was picked for a major jury trial here in Pittsburgh a few years back where all 200 prospective jurors had either heard or read of the case when the incident actually happened two years earlier. The Defense Team had no problem approving jurors from that pool.
